I've been around for probably over 3 years, but haven't done any hacking whatsoever or even been around for that matter for the past 12-18 months or so. Now I just have life to worry about.

I wouldn't say I'm back. I'd say that I'm bored with nothing better to do, and PC now has changed so that I can't just look at the ROM hacking section without logging in.

I haven't worked on Legend of Dragons in over 2 years. That release was all there was and most likely will ever be.

Just been busy the past week, had to get my exams out of the way, and yesterday I just wasn't at a computer at all. I don't plan on leaving my bed all day today so I was going to give the textbox change another crack, but to be honest its been a real pain.

Pretty there isn't a simple way. I think even coolboyman just removed the decompression routine and made all the sprites uncompressed. That would probably be your best bet.
