Is there any difference between the two games? Also I noticed on the menu screen, the PokeDex is under the Pokemon option. In all the Pokemon games, the PokeDex is the top most option. I don't know if you meant to do that, but thought I'd let you know :p

most dragon types are Ubers/OU because the majority of them are legendary pokemon and have major stat advantages. Yes pure dragon types resist many types, but dragon moves are only super effective against other dragons; plus they take longer to evolve. I think Gamefreak did a good job balancing...

I go by levels (0-10, 11-20, 21-30... Etc), then a separate box for Shinies, EV Trained, and Breeding.

That happened to me twice in Pokemon Gold. First, I saw a pink Butterfree and thought it was just the girl version, so I ran away. then later I saw a shiny oddish, I caught it though, and showed my bro that it had yellow stems. I didn't know about shiny pokemon until a couple years later.

I agree with you about the features that at catered to little kids are a little too much. As for your Marill, you just have to deal with it cause it's not gonna change. It might even make it better in the long run. Anyways I too will not be getting Pokemon X & Y because I do not have the money...
