I had never played a Pokemon game since Silver/Soulsilver, i always thought that with each generation you would go to the previous region and beat that area, just like in Gen 2. So I was amazed that this wasn't the case at all with X/Y, I was really looking forward to going to the gen 5 region...

How could it not be Gold/Silver? You have both Johto AND Kanto!

Gen 1: Red (charizard) Gen 2: Silver (Lugia) Gen 3: Skipped (Would have chosen Ruby though) Gen 4: Soul Silver & Platinum Gen 5: White (Zekrom) Gen 6: Y (Yvental) As you can tell I base my chose on the Pokemon on the box or exclusive to that one game.

I got it, although I think I may have put it on a mon that I then released as it's not in my inventory anymore. :-/

I have two actually; My first ever perfect iv, natured, moved charizard. Got a lot of love for that. But my main valued pokemon is my lvl100 cyndaquil from soulsilver. I've always been a fan of cyndaquil and never evolved my original starter one even since gen2. He isn't great and I rarely use...

Yeah same, I waited till the beginning of the year to buy a 3DS and Y and was looking forward to seeing the alternative versions of those two. Before I got the game I thought every starter had a mega evolution and blastoise and venusaur had two. In terms of megas I'm going for the johto birds...

Zygarde fused with Ynvetal would be the stuff of nightmares. If I'm going to be honest, I'd much rather see DLC support for X&Y that adds all the new elements that would be in a new game. I think the industry now has gotten so bloated with yearly sequels that people will get sick of it and stop...

God I would love some new content for this game. Really enjoyed Y, but it felt like it was only 2/3 of the game was there. More moves, more legendaries, more megas and maybe a new smaller region would be awesome!

Sorry, I got the numbers mixed up, It was lvl42 when I took it out. Not it's a lvl46 Gabite. Yeah I super trained it in attack and speed before hand. Moves are: - Earthquake - Outrage - Stone Edge - Crunch It's nature is jolly.

I really like Yveltal, probably my favourite since Lugia. But the other two, and the secret ones look a like crap.
