So i replaced every Fire red in the ini with the 1020 one found here. have all the evo methods. However i ahve a lot of gibberish items and i don't have a lot of gen 4/5/6 items, like dusk stone, dawn stone, etc...

So, I changed the number of Pokemon to match what I have in my Ini...and treid to edit the number of items and attacks to match too but i keep running into an error that forces it to close. Suggestions?

You are correct...yes they're there. Yeah it'd be nice to see the new evolution methods....

It was no evolutions saved, so i deleted everything and started fresh. I now have no new evolution methods annnd A-Map won't list the names of the new pokemon, it's just symbols and jibberish... anyway to fix this? Sorry, I'm rather new at this

So i managed to figure out the hex thing for Advanced map, but when I open the patch in gen3suite, none of the evolutions are linked. Did I do something wrong or do i just have to manually redo every evolution in the game?

So I've attempted to patch a clean Fire Red and when Lunar says its patched, i move the ins file from the zip into the same folder where the tool is... and i get the same error Wurmple got. What am i suposed to change in the ini file? Im new at this Edit: Nevermind! Figred it out, thanks!
