you do get maimed but then slowly die of the injuries, and you fell into a coma just before so you didn't really experience it i wish that all pokemon were corrupted by the evil of piplup

I had a great summer, spent almost all my time on the computer or on the beach :P found some amazing bands and generally lazed around, oh and lost loads of weight apparently so great
