    Professor Laventon is my fave. his pokedex entries are so goofy, lol. He also just finds you on the beach and gives you a house, food, and becomes your friend! as for a least fave, i don't really have one.

    Probably Kukui. Had a nice, encouraging vibe for an eleven year old. Was pretty active in the region. Never interacted much with the others. Talked with Sycamore and Sonia a little more, but not enough.

    No real least favorite. Liked the battle against Sada/Turo enough to not dislike them.

    Clearly Cipher Admin Ein is the best Pokemon professor. He doesn't waste time with trivial nonsense like handing Pokemon out to snotty kids. Instead, like a real man of science, Ein performs horrifying experiments on them in order to maximize their power output in battle.

    I guess Rowan is the best out of the "hand Pokemon out to kids" ones. They mostly just blend into the background for me, so *shrugs*

    Sycamore gave off creepy predator vibes, he was probably my least favorite out of the ones in the games I actually played. Didn't care for the guy in the 7th gen games from what I saw of Let's Plays I watched - not that I cared for much of anything from those games.

    Professor Oak is iconic, but Kukui is probably my favorite. He's a lot more laid back then the other professors and comes off as a cool dude passionate about Pokemon rather then a stuffy Professor stuck in a lab all day.

    Of the Professors we actually got a chance to interact with for more than 2 minutes, I'd say my favorite is Rowan. Honorable mentions include Sonia and Turo, but Sonia isn't 'The Professor' for most of her game, and only really stays in her lab after getting the job, and Turo... Well, for the very little bit of time we actually get to talk to him, (by a certain pond) he strikes me as the one who would have been my favorite if we'd just had more time with his character over the course of the game.

    As for least favorite, that's easily Kiwi-er, Kukui. An example of what happens when you include the Professor character just a little too much, at least for my tastes. (that, and I also found him very annoying, so having him pop up everywhere got super old very quickly)

    I found Kukui and Laventon more likable because they're more involved with the story and there's some more interaction with them. Also liked Sada/Kuro for unexpected reasons that are easy to guess. Definitely not a fan of the old school static professor that were there basically just to give/rate your Dex, tell you how good you're with Pokémon, and maybe show up at the very end to congratulate you in the hall of fame.

    I really like Rowan (no that's not my Gen 4 bias speaking) because I felt he was pretty unique compared to the previous professors. He's noticeably older and can come across as grumpy or scary but in reality he's like that really nice grandpa. He feels more interesting and fleshed out as his own character compared to someone like Oak or Birch.
    Kukui was absolutely great. I love his high energy and the way he's so passionate about what he does. The man walks into your house because you were too slow to let him in, ends up breaking parts of his own home in the middle of his research, and goes to the top of a snowy mountain without a shirt on. I respect the dedication.
    I liked Sonia a lot too. It was cool getting to experience her furthering her research as the game progressed and seeing inherit the title of professor from Magnolia made me happy because she was a character that was likeable and got built up over the course of the story. She's also very pretty ;;
