1. Because 3DS Has to Much "3D" and Pokemon should be a 2D Game Only

2. Since DS is already capable of using 3Ds. (in graphics, not popping out)

3. Big is good! (Mitre 10 Reference Probably only a store in my country) [Also referring to the fact that the ds is bigger than the 3ds)

8. the 3D isn't easy on some people's eyes while the DS always has been.

11. Pokèmon has done wondrously on the DS; it has the essential hardware to run a completely immersing Pokèmon game.

If the switch to the 3DS is such a necessary one, why not do something similar to Blue & Red Rescue Team?

Where 2 versions are released; though trading would be possible due to wireless communication, rather than link cables.
