I don't know, do people keep track of character anniversaries? I just do what I normally do and roll with it, really...

For the next three weeks, I'm just doing Liyue chapters, so nothing... super big big... just High Octane Stressful Chaos (for Siorc, not me).

I'm sure you're not the only one but it's not super common as far as I know.

He's very important to me so I try to keep track of his anniversary dates.

I celebrate his birthday, anniversary of existence (which is like a second birthday bc my head gave birth to him if you will) and sometimes fanfiction start date anniversary (which I pretend is 9/12 but I wrote it on 9/11, and bc I'm American it's probably not a good idea to have September 11 as an anniversary date so I say it's a day later).

I do keep track of some other bdays. Fèng, Linggui are 4/5, Waiola & Bogart are 9/6, Yínlóng's is 9/17, Loba & Aega are 3/7, Nousagi & Kouneko are 8/28, & Naofa, Faxi, Uxi, Irpa, Xena are 2/16. But I can't be bothered to remember all of them. I have 104 (by the end of 2024, 120) ocs. So, only my favorites (I hate Naofa, but I remember its birthday because it's stuck in my head) I will bother with remembering.

I will make a calendar though and put my ocs birthdays in there eventually. But, I don't think I'll go as hard for anyone else except Siorc. He's the one all my energy goes to.

That is a lot to track.

I do have other favorites besides him, obviously, but he is primary.

Speaking of favorite.
Columbina is my favorite character design, ever. And I will cry the day she's in Genshin at some point.

She does have a really good design, yeah.

I'm bias tho I love all Genshin designs except for... Navia's horrible splash art. I don't know what happened there.

Cannot say the same for HSR. I feel like they repeat a lot of designs... Like I love the game around the same as Genshin. But, some characters really just... Look the same, different outfit.

But hyv can easily sell me on every single one of their characters. Except Sparkle. And hsr Robin. 🧂🧂🧂

(I'll be changing my Robin to going by his last name in the hsr verse I'm doing because of this...)

I do also gravitate to preferring Genshin's designs but Hoyoverse character designs in general are excellent.

Same, for the most part. I like hsr, hi3 & Zenless's character designs but Genshin has never made me want to skip a character. Meanwhile, HSR, I have skipped quite a lot so far.

I'm not sure if this'll hold up for future similar games (Wuthering, Mugen, Akatsuki) but we'll see.
