Just a bit of clarification: Does the "egg ban" only apply if they're traded from another game, or does it also apply to eggs you receive from in-game NPC's (i.e. Togepi in G/S/C/HG/SS, the Odd Egg in Crystal, Wynaut in R/S/E, etc.)? Also, does your starter count as a gift?
