Okay, I've never really did any RNG abuse so I ran through and read all of these posts and such. I have to say, RNG is the exact thing that I despise, not as bad as other things, like PokeGen but, still awful nonetheless. I absolutley HATE people using outside (not already in place in the game) mechanics to obtain their "perfect" Pokemon. Sure, RNG isn't making their stats higher and all that, but, if it wasn't in the game, don't use it. It isn't honest, it isn't right. Shiny hunting is tedious, boring, and difficult, but, at least when I have a shiny I can say I sat there and searched for days for it not, "I manipulated the game because I'm impatient". I know I'm not the only person out there annoyed by it. Okay, RNG takes some skill, it takes a little time in itself, it takes some more intelligence. I don't care, it isn't already in place in the game, you cannot walk up to some building and ask some scientist to help you RNG, than it wasn't something meant to be done. Hardly anyone plays these games fair anymore, that's why I'm hardly competitive. I'm proud to say I've leveled up my entire team to 100 legit and even one more of my Pokemon and I don't plan to stop. I just think everyone should play the games the way they were intended to be because otherwise, competitive battling is no fun. If you're just collecting, fine, I don't care, still not right, but, I don't care. I never really cared for shiny Pokemon (unless someone has a shiny Zorua/Zoroark they're willing to part with *hintity hint hint*), but, if you're going to use them and get them do it honorably.
