Yeah, Lewandowski's stamp was bad. But Ribery (unsuccessfully) elbowed him in the face, so karma is kinda neutral on it, particularly as nobody was really hurt.
Is it just me or is Pep Guardiola kinda fortunate with the teams he gets? Barcelona were unstoppable under him, but a lot of that is due to him having Messi 100% fit for his entire reign - just look what happened the second he got injured. And Bayern...well, they're absolutely class.
And even if his tactics have something to do with the success of Barca (I believe it was him who decided to play Messi in a central role), he was lucky in that he inherited a team, as opposed to a bunch of personalities, which is what Madrid disintegrate into every season that they don't win something. And if Robben leaves, Bayern'll have that same team spirit (apparently players dislike him because he spends too much time with his family!?) which will make them much easier to manage.
And on the final, yeah BVB were pretty unlucky. And If Götze wasn't injured, that extra bit of creativity would've dragged the game into extra time at least. I gotta be honest I was really hoping Bayern would be the new Benfica (choking in finals). Good to see Ilkay Gundogan getting a goal - I wonder how much of that was due to Lewandowski being bothered about missing and how much of him being worried about equalising against his alleged future team-mates? Absolutely gutted that my bets didn't come off too :P Had BVB 2-1 Bayern, and Müller (nearly always scores), Reus and Lewandowski to score.
In more recent news though, Crystal Palace are back up! Kevin Phillips, what a legend. Wilfried Zaha apparently got MOM, which is good news for United as Young never looked like our quality and Nani'll probably never hit his true potential until he leaves, sadly. Although then again, looking at moments like this:

Also, you heard it here first - United will win the Champions League in the next two seasons
