2nd Gen Granbull or Raticate?

    So I'm doing a nuzlocke run of crystal and I reeeeaaaallly can't decide between my two normal types. This is also my first nuzlocke run, so I'm definitely no pokemon expert >_<;

    • You don't get to choose in a Nuzlocke... Unless you mean that you've already caught them both? In which case I would advise you to use Raticate. Hyper Fang is pretty useful.

    • Assuming you've already caught them (you'd have to be psychic to plan a Nuzlocke team), I'd say Granbull. It can take more hits than Raticate and has more power. It's slower, though. Anyway, I'm gonna close this. It doesn't quite fit in with the in-game team help forum, because you need to have your whole team up as well as movesets. You can post a thread in there when you meet that criteria, though. It's a subforum in Battle Center. Good luck on your Nuzlocke!
