Weapons!

Some may say it's a bit bizarre for me to make individual CoD games have their own category. But for CoD 4 and MW2 there are enough choices for me to deem it necessary.



Desert Eagle

This is probably one of the most powerful handguns in the CoD series and its design is really badass. Plus the gold one at level 55 was very nice too.



AK47

Unlike some other entries on this, I wouldn't put the AK in this list for other games. On CoD4 it was unlocked from the start giving it an extra boost. In all games it is a brilliant assault rifle though.



M16A4

This is my favourite FPS weapon. In every game it is available I have enjoyed using it, CoD4, MW2, Black Ops, Battlefield Bad Company 2. Even the rip off version of it in Saints Row is great. It's meant to be good from longer ranges, but I don't mind using it at any range really. In some games it was regarded as OP which I suppose means I'm vindicated in my choice of it as a powerful weapon.



M4A1

Effectively the fully automatic version of the M16. It gets less credit than the M16 as there is usually a larger choice of fully automatic assault rifles than triple burst. I like it nearly as much though.



M40A3

The bolt-action that started the CoD obsession with bolt-actions. The Intervention on MW2 had a much cooler design, but I like this just for being the first.

G18

MW2 brought machine pistols, this was the coolest. A lot of people complained about recoil, I personally found few faults with the weapon and it was nearly on par with a lot of the primary weapons. A sniper's best sidearm.



Model 1887

I don't care if they were OP originally in MW2, they were cool. The old design, the cool swing round reload, the shooting across a map with a shotgun. Even after they were modified, they retained the first two parts and still remained a useful secondary weapon. (These comments refer to dual wield, single wielding these should be illegal)



Scar-H

This was a great assault rifle to start with especially since MW2 was less generous than CoD4 in its first level gifts. A very good weapon to use while waiting to unlock the ACR. Admittedly it made the M4A1 very pointless, but I still used the M4A1 now and again for the CoD 4 feeling.



ACR

Just the best CoD weapon ever. Almost everyone used it. Very precise weapon while still being reasonably powerful. I imagine my K/D drastically altered from Level 48 onwards each prestige.



Intervention

Since MW2 was my favourite CoD game and I love using Bolt actions, it is only fair to include it. I got to Red Tiger on every prestige with it thanks to it being available from the beginning. The design of the weapon is very good compared to other bolt-actions too.



Tactical Nuke

It might be a killstreak, but it's still a weapon. Now I'm not CoD master so I only ever got three of these, but all of them were a great gaming achievement for me. Plus my username is Nuke so I might aswell give the inspiration for it some recognition.

RPG

This is fun in any game, you're standard rocket launcher. Whether it be a serious FPS or a sandbox game, it's fun to use. A lot more fun in sandbox though. :P



Satchel Charges

The RPG comment is pretty much what applies. Blowing up tanks in CoD WaW is probably my highlight for this weapon though.



Plasma Grenade

I'm not a big fan of Halo anymore, but when I used to play 3 a lot, these were a great weapon for personal enjoyment. Watching the moments of panic once someone knows they've been stuck was great; especially if they had just teabagged you beforehand.

Achilles' Spear (Spartan Total Warrior)

Technically a spear isn't a bladed weapon, but since in STW it's used to thrust rather than throw, it might as well be. (Plus keeping it here is good for my categorisation) Anyway, this cuts through some of the tougher enemies on STW when most of the other weapons fail. Since the basic enemies could die from you tapping them on the shoulder, this makes Achilles' Spear the only useful weapon once you get it.



Hidden Blade (Assassins' Creed series)

This is a brilliant weapon simply because of its purpose, stealthily killing people. It's the trademark weapon of the series and is actually good enough to use in place of a sword to fight with baddies usually. My swords never see action in AC.



Buster Blade

I haven't actually played FF VII (except like the first thirty minutes on an attempt at the old PC version before I realised it wouldn't save, thank god Steam has it now), but I know the story and I have watched Advent Children. It's a key feature of the Final Fantasy series due to its association with Cloud, but more importantly it looks SO DAMN COOL. Like 200x any other sword coolness.

Blue Shell

Well people complain, but you must admit it's also really fun to use especially when you know who it is being used on personally. I don't even play that much Mario Kart so it must be fun to make its way here.

Okay this one need only be viewed by those of a certain age. It's not that important so any of you younger than maybe like 14 I don't know, just move on nothing to see here. :P





Cristiano Ronaldo's Feet (PES/FIFA)

Yes, they are a weapon. One I have used to brutally (okay not very brutal compared to like every other weapon I've mentioned) destroy many opponents. Beware the boot of Ronaldo it is more deadly than every weapon on this list. /weirdcommentsaboutronaldo
