  • I don't get it. It says tilemaps are extension *.tmap
    but when I try to save something from map viewer or OAM viewer,
    tilemap isn't a save option.
    I don't know how to make a tilemap. I would just change
    its file extension to *.tmap, but nothing I save from map viewer
    or OAM viewer even has a file extension! So everything I load
    is a "tileset".
    Nothing doing....

  • What's the size of the world maps? I want to edit the four ones and divide mine to fit in the ROM (it's too big for only one map), so i wanna know whats the size to make it in order to fit.

  • When you load the tilemap, it automatically changes the size (if it can guess the size of course..)
    Anyway, I think it's just 30x20..

  • Well, I've got quite a problem. Everytime I open a tilemap, NTME tells me that it can't guess the size.
    Even if it's the 30x20 worlmap (yeah, 30x20 is right).
    No matter which tileset, no matter which tilemap, I always get this annoying message.

  • @Master_Track:
    We talked about that through PM, and as you know now, it has nothing to do with NTME..

    @All:
    I had some time to add something small (but pretty important)..
    Download newest version @ first post!

  • Oh, good: 30x20. But i have another trouble... it bothers me veeeeery much. I have the size now but i wanna know the idexes for the four maps... i can't see them because i only see messed pixles... can someone tell me the indexes and pallettes in unlz-GBA?

    It's for my hack.

    @Master_Track:
    You can't load it because it has to be a measure of 8... related to eight, i dunno how to write it in english. Something like: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, etc...

    how do i do that? what do i do with it?
    Do you know what's a offset? If not ask at the simple questions thread. Anyway, open your ROM in a hex-editor and scroll down till you find alot of 0xFFs - FFs, then just any of those offsets.
