  • Hey, Gogo here and I'm showing what the whole songtable really is.
    There's a thread around here basically restating everything known from Sappy, but what about the songs from 1-255? This thread will be regularly updated to include each song hidden in the songtables of our favorite 3rd Gen Games.
    Remember, if you recognize something that's unknown in these lists, be sure to comment or tell me! (If you're a guest, come and join! No loss whatsoever.)

    Also, most songs in the songtables are continuous, If they are continuous I will put it there. If there's nothing said, don't assume it's continuous!

    Sounds 89 and 90 are used in ember's attack animation. That's all I know atm.

  • I'm pretty sure that the other 5 of these kinds of threads were real, so... yeah.

    But, that doesn't mean that I'm not willing to help. I happen to like the idea of a crowdsourced song table, so I'll pitch this one in:

    95 (or in Hex it's 0x5F) is the shiny pokemon sparkle. I happen to know since I used it in my custom intro.

  • K, I will add that up. The reason for this thread is to help people who would like to use these sounds in a script. A few people may find these useful.

  • Just saying it's a move doesn't help, but the Curse, brick break, and thunder help. Bubble could be any of the other water moves posted, so get a pokemon that knows bubble and change the song. if the song plays when bubble plays, you got it. Just tell me Galoo.

  • For Fire Red:
    34 - RSE click sound of this berry mixing machine
    35 - Falling through an damaged layer of ice floor
    36 - damaging ice floor
    37 - RSE the roulette ball falls down on the wheel
    38 - RSE the roulette ball lands on the wheel
    53 - some sound that occurs when trying to catch a Pokemon (that moment when it get's sucked into it)

  • Just posted this in tajaros tutorial for XSE... decided I contribute a sound list since he only did a sound list for FR.
    Just use "sound 0x##" in your script and replace the hashtags with whatever you want to play. Sounds can really shake things up in a hack and make it feel more awesome! Enjoy Ruby hackers!

    I know a function in Firered that finds the sound number for a given the door block number. (0805B364) It either returns 18/0x12 or 241/0xF1. These are definitely door sounds.

  • I added up Knizz's door research a while ago but I guess I forgot to post about it :P
    I added Telinc1's just now. Though you had some that you weren't sure, and I wasn't, so those weren't added up. The majority of them helped a lot!
