I started a Tauros Solo Run on Red, and currently I have 4 badges and just beat Giovanni in the Game Corner.




I beat it, I dont know why the pictures wont show up, but my Tauros:

-Used Pokemon Encounter cheat to get Beldum, named MetaKnigh(missed the t or couldn't fit it)
-Helped Wally
-Defeated all trainers in all routes up to the Whismur Cave thing
-Did some more training
-Started Gym
-Left and trained, evolved to Metang
-Beat Rustboro Gym

Defeating Red in soul silver with just my Bellossom was fun. My boyfriend was amazed because he was so convinced I was going to lose against Red's Charizard.

I would like to get in on this actually, i was wanting to do either HG or SS
using only a Ratatta/Raticate which I will no doubt name Nibbles.
I think it will prove to be an interesting solo challenge.

I will post my progress as I go.

Okay so I'd like to do a solo run on firered with parasect. I know it's after the first gym, but I have no way of hacking so... wish me luck? :D I'll start with squirtle to get through the first part of the game as quickly as possible, and I'll avoid as many trainers as I can.

Let's begin! :D (I'll edit in my progress later tonight)

EDIT: I actually decided to go with bulbasaur to give me a grass type feel for the beginning, and to make my rival more challenging. *gulp* I named him Parasect? and we proceeded onward. He swept through the beginning with ease, even with only 3-4 trainer battles, Brock was a snap. I finally reached Mt. Moon and got my team! Maitre D' the female paras joined the party! (get it cuz she's the host :D) I trained her up and passed through Mt. Moon where we reached Ceruean. After a couple failed attempts at beating Gary, I took down Misty, easy as pie. Now if only I could get rid of that pidgeotto...

EDIT: After training up, I got paras to level 5 (so she could learn spore) and the Maitre D' evolved! I easily took down Gary, fought the trainers beyond him and headed to Vermilion. Lt. Surge was easy, so I headed for the rock tunnel, to lazy to catch enough pokemon to get flash. Next time, I'll capture the 10 pokemon. I beat up Erika with ease, and took down the rocket hide-out. I then headed over to lavender town where Gary was destroyed and I saved Mr. Fuji or whatever his name is. I took down the fightin dojo real quickly before heading down to Fuschia, the non bicycl path way. I easily destroyed Koga, and saved all my progress!

Bah, I can't believe I left without updating for so long. For those who don't know me, I was attempting an Ultimate Solo Challenge with Weedle. I've posted earlier in this thread about having beaten Gens 1 and 3, as well as getting up to Red in Gen 2. Part of the reason I've stopped updating is because it takes me too long to type it up before I'm satisfied with it. But today I decided I'm not putting it off anymore. Here are videos of me finishing gens 4 and 5 with Weedle.

I still have ahead of me Red in Gen 2, so I'm not done yet. In place of posting my journey, I'll say this. If anyone here wants pictures of beaten gym leaders, or has questions on how I beat certain parts, feel free to ask and I'll happily tell you about it.

EDIT: Also, as a result of a camping trip where I got bored and most of my games were at home, I started a Solo challenge on Sapphire with Shedinja, I'm currently at the Elite 4. If I like it enough I'll make it into an Ultimate.

I'll do Delcatty on Leaf Green. Will be hacking her in as a Skitty after I do the necessary starter-parcel-etc. stuff.

I am going to do this with Meowth/Persian.I am starting with FireRed, but I will probably do the other regions, too.

Ultimate Jynx Solo Challenge

I went back to Cerulean and headed for Rock Tunnel
Went through the cave (without Flash, so annoying)
Got to Lavander Town and beat Gary
Went over to Celadon and took on the gym
Erika got destroyed, Powder Snow + Confusion wrecked her Grass, Poisons :P
I then went to the casino for some gambli- I mean Team Rocket ass kicking!
Got the Silph Scope from Giovanni
Headed back to Lavander Town, freed Mr. Fuji and got the Poke Flute
Headed to Saffron City and got TM 29, Psychic!
Headed back to Celadon and defeated my first Snorlax :P
Saved the game and called it a day :)
