My poor Charizard didn't get a lot of use late in the game. Being a noob at the time, I screwed it up by teaching it strength and cut. I think Fire, Ice, Psychic, Ghost,Poison and Electric moves are the coolest looking, thus my rational for the team. Not to mention Charmander was my starter, and the rest are some of the strongest Pokemon in the game.

I never owned any of the Game Boy games except Red until I got back into Pokemon like a year ago (though I did play Stadium 1 & 2 before I got a Game Boy) and rapidly acquired all of the other Game Boy Pokemon games (disappointingly, many of the Gen 2 had dead batteries, but I got them replaced. My first Crystal worked, while second time was the charm with silver and third time the charm with Gold.), so my GSC team is still a work in progress.

Silver was almost the same except I swapped Lugia for Xatu

This is my team every time i bet Pokemon Gold, After knowing I can beat the game with only this setup, I never tried anything after it.

Currently playing through Silver again, and so far, I've got Typhlosion, Noctowl, Kadabra, and Golbat. Planning to put Jolteon somewhere on there, but not sure if I should. d:

Unfortunately my Red, Blue and Silver games are all corrupted so I was only able to finish Yellow and Crystal

Yellow: Dewgong, Alakazam, Snorlax, Zapdos (Pikachu and Moltres, were both on my team to fill the spots but were useless for me in battling the Elite 4, Moltres was knocked out in one hit)

Crystal: Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Jynx, Raichu (Gyarados and Togetic, were both on my team to fill spots but were useless for me in battling the Indigo Plateau)

This team pretty much sucks except for Azumarill, Jynx & Doduo. The rest are pretty much horrible except for Persian who got good speed to make up to his average stats lmao

Well, I usually don't maintain a single team of Pokémon throughout a playthrough. I usually just catch as many Pokémon as possible and training as many as possible. However, my current team consists of my Lv 35 Sandslash, Lv 35 Ampharos, Lv 28 Fearow, Lv 39 Typhlosion, Lv 30 Lapras and Lv 22 Miltank.
