  • So here, I'll be working on my poetry, and posting it for all of you lovely readers to view, and such. This will basically be different types of poetry I try my hand at. But, for the first four, they're just simple poems.

    I hope you enjoy.

    Poem #1

    As the elephant bellows,
    So too, the darkness follows.
    For no amount of power
    Can restore this withered flower.
This contentment, I can no longer feign,
For in truth, I feel only pain.

    Poem #2

Oh, this thorn in my side
Was a gift, from my deathly bride.
No strength can set it free,
    for it craves the sea,
    of my unbridled tears
    and my everlasting fears.

    Poem #3

My quest for the clearest of thought
    has all been for not.
As I sit, and gaze at the void,
Happiness and love, my heart, devoid.
For all that's left are black thorns,
and a howling soul, that forever mourns.

    Poem #4

He walks, in the dead of night,
    Where life holds no light.
He walks from dusk 'til dawn,
No noise, not even a yawn.
    Run, while you still can,
Lest you meet the Swamp Man.

  • So, I've decided when I'm writing, I'll write three poems at the minimum. Which reminds me, three new poems~

    I hope you enjoy.

    Poem #5

Through the course of my life,
This journey has brought only strife.
I know not where I have traveled,
but all of my wrongs have been unraveled.
    Before my very eyes,
I see all of my lies.

    Poem #6

    My hands, cold as ice,
God forbid anything to be nice.
My heart, just as empty and cold,
The truth left me withered, and covered in mold.
With this knowledge, I have been fed,
As I lay here, forever dead.

    Poem #7

    My mind, a personal Wonderland,
My soul, hanging to that single strand.
As I slowly lose my mind,
    My soul, forever confined
    To my personal Wonderland.

  • Melody of an X

    In this darkened, rotted heart,
There rests a song torn apart,
    Bells, here and there,
Sounds that seem to be from nowhere,

What once was a sanctuary of dance and song,
Now, a cacophony so very strong,
The bells toll for a death so silent,
    Their sounds, so harshly violent,

Warped, and distorted is the sound,
The agony, the pain, forever bound
    To my darkened, rotted heart,
As my soul finally falls apart.
