I tryed this once by breeding a starter with my main starter. It was really fun but i eventually packed up on that. This time im gonna use Psychic Type because i can catch Mewtwo (he isn't a legend wooo)!

Since my last update i've beaten Morty, thanks to Charlie's psybeam, and moved on to Olivine. I beat all the trainers in the lighthouse and met Jasmine after this I set sail to Cianwood. After a bit more grinding I've beaten Chuck and given Amphy her medicine. Now i'm going to do a bit more training before I face Jasmine.

Flying Monotype Challenge: Kanto

-Defeated Brock and got the running shoes
-I actually bought the overpriced Magikarp by Mt Moon
-Made it through Mt Moon
-Defeated my rival

*Gonna evolve Charmeleon and Magikarp into legit bird-types now before I challenge another gym

Just Completed Kanto and trying to get my hands on Johto, I am using the shiny clause, (If it's shiny, get it, use it) surprised it mattered. I am excited to start another monotype challenge!!!

Finished my Johto challenge a while ago and forgot to update but here we go :)


I've already started my Hoenn challenge in Emerald but I plan to show it all in on post so I'll see you guys later.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Ghost).

Update #2 on White.

• Beat Bianca and Cheren on Route 4, then headed to Desert Resort, where I caught King Tut the Yamask.
• Beat the trainers there and went up to Nimbasa City.
• After training some more around the city, I beat N and took on the gym.
• Elesa was hard because of Static paralyzing BFG (used Shadow Punch on the Emolga), but I survived Zebstrika's Flame Charge with 1 HP and won with Magnitude.
• Continued on to Driftveil City after beating Cheren again, and cleared out Cold Storage.
• Clay wasn't too hard, though he did win once because BFG couldn't get any good Magnitude rolls. The second time around BFG escaped without a scratch.
• Went through Chargestone Cave fairly quickly, and after arriving in Mistralton City, I hurried up to the Celestial Tower, where I caught Inferno the Litwick.
• After beating a few trainers I skipped earlier, BFG evolved into Golurk!
• I am saved on Route 7.

-Scattered my gym challenges around and claimed the Cascade, Rainbow, and Soul Badge.
-Went through the torture and managed to evolve Magikarp
-Went through the Haunted Tower, but still need to go to the Silph Co.
-Will continue battling Team Rocket and Gym Leaders after leveling up Harmony- a lot

I beat Jasmine and immediately moved on to Mahogany town and beat the Gyarados and helped lance defeat team rocket. I beat Pryce first time and went to Goldenrod and beat team rocket once again. I'm in Blackthorn city now training before the hardest gym in Johto.

First things first:
Samurott01: I thank you for the suggestion, but I received it a little too late. I beat the league and didn't notice it until just now. besides, I was focusing mainly on hoenn psychics,and forgot Staryu does evolve into a psychic type. I will consider it for future use, though.

Update for Ultimate Monotype Challenge (Ghost).

Update #3 on White.

• After training a bit more on Route 7, I climbed Celestial Tower, where King Tut evolved into Cofagrigus!
• Then we challenged the gym. Skyla was no match for BFG.
• Got the Surf HM, and used it to catch Jilly the female Frillish.
• Trained Jilly on the water routes with the Lucky Egg, and she soon evolved into Jellicent!
• Made my way through Twist Mountain to Icirrus City and took on the gym, where Inferno evolved into Lampent!
• Inferno then took care of Brycen easily with Flare Burst.
• Team Plasma was making trouble, so I beat them down at the Dragonspiral Tower and Relic Castle.
• Got the Dark Stone and headed to Opelucid City.
• EV trained my team, then took on Iris with Inferno and won.
• Found a Dusk Stone on Route 10 and used it on Inferno, evolving her into Chandelure!
• Went through Victory Road to the Pokemon League. Everyone was at L53 except King Tut (L52).
• None of the Elite Four were very hard since my team was at a higher level. Inferno and King Tut were the MVPs.
• Then I took on N and Ghetsis. They were much harder then the Elite Four as I only had four team members, but I managed to squeak out both fights.
• Roll credits, and it's time for the postgame!
