Baton Pass your comment

I made a Baton Pass team because I just like that move:P
Still, I want to use it in competitive battle.
What do you think of it?

Ninjask - Jolly
Speed Boost - Leftovers
176 HP/80 ATK/252 Speed
- Protect
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- X-scissor
Pretty obvious as lead.
I use him because he outspeed anyone in OU.
I use Protect over Swords Dance because I want to pass more speed to the other.
With substitute, it give him more durability.

Gliscor - Jolly
Hyper Cutter - Yache Berry
252 HP/ 196 Sp. DEF/ 60 Speed
- Taunt
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Baton Pass
A nice pokemon under a substitute, he can use taunt to make some protection to the team.
He gives some boost in ATK and hit himself if it need it.

Smeargle - Timid
Own Tempo - Leftovers
96 HP/120 DEF/40 Sp. DEF/252 Speed
- Spore
- Ingrain
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
After the speed boost, I have 100% chance to induce sleep.
Then, I use subtitute to give some protection if needed.
Ingrain is to give protection against Roar and Whirlwind.

Umbreon - Careful
Synchronize - Leftovers/Chople Berry
252 HP/180 Def / 76 SpD
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Wish
- Taunt
A nice wall who can give some health to his partner.
Mean Look can be usefull in that kind of battle, even more if the opponent is asleep.
Taunt to help against Sleep Talk and other move of that kind.

Mr. Mime - Calm
Soundproof - Leftovers
252 HP/156 DEF/100 Sp. DEF
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Thunderbolt
With Soudproof, I'm sure to survive to Perish song and Roar.
Calm mind is for himslef if I need to attack.
I use Thunderbolt for good coverage because with Gliscor and Lucario, I cover all the other pokemon.

Lucario - Adamant
Inner Focus - Life Orb
252 ATK/252 Speed
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Bullet Punch/Extremespeed
- Ice Punch
He is the one who will receive all the Baton Pass.
He has a good ATK and Speed stat, so if the Baton Pass is broken, he still can hit hard the opponent.
I can OHKO almost any pokemon with this.
Bullet Punch/Extremespeed is for Priority move.

So, after reading that, what do you think of that Baton Pass team?

So Epic, I won't own with an Happiny, but still, it is funny.

Huge Baton Pass chains like these are extremely hard to pull off and you need to be really careful of Taunt users which really shut you down. Best way to pull off any kind of Baton Passing imo is to start with a Dual Screen Memento lead, then a fast bulky BPer like Gliscor which can pass off to a variety of sweepers. Also other support like Scarf sweepers are nice just in case your strategy is ruined, and the Pokemon you choose for sweepers should be able to fend for themselves in normal situations.

just watch out for taunt and entry hazards but still nice team :)

Yeah taunt will be a big problem as well as phazeing.As well as umbreon and mr.mime being UU and NU they have been band from OU/BL meta play.But the team idea is good.

You can use Pokemon from lower tiers, they were never banned lol.
