    • I recently received an infraction for my signature. Now I know the rules, but I'm partially perplexed about something.
    Several things:

    • My signature was hidden for the reason of it is too big, 200 pixels too big in fact. The rules state that a signature should be no bigger than 500x300 pixels, or 100.0 KB. My signature is 450x180, and 89.6 Kilos. I fail to understand how my picture alone exceeds that limit. Please enlighten me. And by the way, I just received warning recently, so I wasn't ignoring any long-time warning.
    • Now I see that the only other reason I could possibly see that my sig is wrong, is the picture content. If it is offensive to anyone, I apologize. But in no way did the source of the pictures come from any pornographic website. In fact, I tried to cut out most of each pic (hence why there are two), so it wouldn't be considered racy. In my opinion, I've seen worse sigs left untouched on this site (not going to name any names, for that would be unfair). But I will definitely change it regardless, if this is the case.
    Now again, I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone, for I am a kind person at heart and would never intentionally do that. And understand this, staff: I am not trying to argue, avoid my infraction, or am I asking for the aformentioned infraction to be removed. I would just like to know exactly what is wrong with my signature. I will edit or change my signature regardless of the reason, though.

    • i believe your spoiler, when expanded, breaks the limits.. the signature police count the full signature including any spoilers or other hidden items. the only way to know for sure is to ask the mod who tagged you.. they don't bite (much).

    Otherwise its a perfectly fine (and decent even) sig

    • Perhaps the images in your spoiler were side by side. They take up 705 pixels in width, which is about 200 over the width limit.

    Why don't you talk it over with the person that issued the infraction, rather than creating a thread about it?

    Ermm ... other users who have complained about an infraction have been told to talk it through with the mod who issued it, why should Captain Riolu be an exception?

    anyway try this (maybe) copy your spoiler stuff and then delete
    if it appears thats the problem solved but befrore that remove the brackets from the top of sig to the bottom like this

    I hate to run from the topic, but to set something straight:

    Other members that make threads did so in an inappropriate manner. (example: oh, check this out, the staff sucked here!!, etc) While it may be preferred to talk it over specifically with the mod politely, if you make a thread and handle yourself well and don't act like a complete ass, while showing some understanding, we're usually okay with it. So stop acting like it's a concrete thing, Spey, there's always exceptions. Personally I find Cap. Riolu handling himself so well with this thread that's it's a-okay.

    Now drop the topic and get back to the issue at hand. :|

    • Alright. I removed the whole spoiler section altogether. Does anyone think it would be ok to remove the warning tag now?

    EDIT: Also, how do I know who issued the infraction? In my PM, it wasn't specified, so is it the one who issued said PM?

    yeah I am pretty sure its the spoiler box if anything =) just delete as much as can/want like an image at a time and it should sort out I think
    and yes of course it would be ^^ blame me if this goes wrong

    Your signature's fine now, you can remove it. If you ever want to check to make sure for future signatures, use the signature review thread, which is a sticky here in CQ&F.

    And if you ever want to know who's issued a disable to discuss it with them, ask a higher. (Smod and up) Say, in situations where you don't get an infraction or something. I was the one that disabled your first two signature mistakes, Klippy nabbed the third. (From my understanding, I believe it's okay to tell you, if not, I've got some learning to do. XD)

    I remember having sig issues in the past. I promptly fixed those. I was just confused this time around because I was just able to log on today, and there is an infraction PM from yesterday, as I haven't been on in a few days. I promise I wasn't purposely avoiding warnings, and I think I misunderstood the sig rules. I'm very sorry.

    EDIT: I think I'll use text hyperlinks rather than image ones. That's ok, right?
