    Optional rules I'll follow:
    Nickname every pokemon
    No heals outside of Pokecenters, moves, and held berries. (Basically, no potions. Woo.)
    Only use pokeballs

    Other notes:
    I'll be using the pokemon randomizer. I'll also might record important battles and such, but with no commentary it'll be boring. :P

    I'll be using the pokemon randomizer. I also switched all of Ruby's sprites with the Red sprites from RichterSnipes' FireRed Throwback hack, though that shouldn't matter.

    • I'm actually working on a Nuzlocke right now too. It's on my Soul Silver. I haven't played in a while though. I got kind of scared of Claire and don't feel like losing anymore members of my team against her. I have been wanting to pick up my game again and try to continue.

    Fourth Update!

    Did a bunch of stuff!

    • Recieved "Odd Egg" from the Daycare
    • Challenged the Goldenrod Gym, pretty easy o.o
    • Participated in Bug Catching Contest, Caught PINSY my Pinsir
    • Trained so much, MEGUMI and MACAROON evolved!
    • ELEE the Elekid hatched from the egg!
    • Made it to Ecruteak City
    • Went back to Goldenrod for my new team member, VEEVEE the Eevee <3
    • MEGUMI beat all of the Kimono Girls alone!
    • Through all the training from earlier, my Pokemon were affected by Pokerus!! (This has been like the luckiest game!)

    • Arrived in Olivine City
    • Caught a Mantine, now named MANTINI on my way to Cianwood
    • Got "secret potion"
    • Battled Eusine...haha no match at all
    • Jasmine's Amphy is all better now! c:
    • Challenged her gym, COCOA did not make it...
    • After some leveling, PII evolved! He loves me! <3
    • Went back to Cianwood to challenge Chuck
    • Made it to Mahogany Town
    • Caught SILVER my shiny Gyarados. I will have two shinies in my team! ^_^
    • Named him SILVER aswell since he reminded me of my rival SILVER
    • Used him to take all the Rockets out in Mahogany, he needed revenge!
    • About to challenge the trainers in Pryce's gym

    I finally stopped being lazy and continued this challenge. Since I made most of this progress MONTHS ago, I'll be giving the condensed version. I taught Gloom Cut and proceded to defeat Volkner. With Graveler, victory was pretty easy. After that, I took my second Pidgey out of the PC, so that way my roster would be filled up. I killed an Ekans on Route 9, since I already had one. Then King was killed by a Spearow. Meh. I soon caught a Spearow on Route 10. I was hoping for a Onix in Rock Tunnel, but sadly, I encountered and Geodude a defeated it. I left Rock Tunnel without further incident, and I arrived in Lavender Town.

    EDIT: As I'm racing my friend in this, he got a headstart, but we got confused as to whether the whole cave counts as the area, or if each floor counts as an area each.

    Update 1:

    Me and my friend decided to catch our first Pokemon on the other floors of Mt. Moon, but have refrained from using them until we work out whether we should use them or not.

    So far, my run has been pretty easy, with only two deaths, although both of them were some of the main members of my team. Fortunately, I found replacements soon enough for the team to remain complete.
