    • Purple Monocolor Challenge (Crystal)
    Update #2 (Final Update)

    ▸ After leaving the gym, Konpaku evolved into a Haunter.
    ▸ I decided to evolve Konpaku once again into a Gengar, so I traded it back and forth.
    ▸ Defeated Chuck.

    You DO know that Bellsprout is Green, not Yellow, right? unless it's a Cut slave or something...

    Anyway, here's my first update for Sinnoh.

    Update #1 on Platinum.

    Name: White (female character again. She's got a white hat, c'mon!)
    Starter: Turtwig
    • I had to beat the first gym with my starter, since my first Pokemon available is just before Eterna Forest.
    • Beat Roark easily, then beat Mars in the Valley Windworks as well with Grotle.
    • Caught my first team member, Hoarder the Pachirisu!
    • Went through the forest, and after many tries, we finally beat Gardenia.
    • After beating Jupiter in the TG Eterna Building, I got the egg from Cynthia.
    • Out hatched my second team member, Ace the Togepi!
    • Gave Ace the Soothe Bell, and before long, he evolved into Togetic!
    • Arrived in Hearthome City and took on the gym. Fantina wasn't too difficult thanks to Hoarder paralyzing Mismagius with Discharge.
    • Defeated Barry, then set out to search for a Ralts.
    • Found a male one, and named him Mars.
    • Saved on Route 209.

    dammit, it was Exeggutor that was Yellow, not Victreebel. I'll stop using Bellsprout, luckily, the only battles I used him in were a few against avoidable S.S. Anne trainers.

    Kanto MVP first half: Beedrill. Super super strong early game, but fell off quite a bit.
    Kanto MVP second half: Exeggutor. I really underestimated that thing. Finished his final moveset early, destroyed stuff afterwards. Plus, he made a great tank to all the Psychic Types.
    E4 Co-MVPs: Sandslash and Exeggutor. I really used them equally in the E4. Great team.

    • Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (White).

    Update #2 on Platinum.
    • Mars evolved right away into Kirlia, and we continued on through Solaceon Town.
    • Upon our arrival in Veilstone City, I bought a bunch of vitamins, then challenged the gym, mostly with Mars.
    • Maylene's Lucario was tough to bring down, so it took a few tries. to beat her.
    • After getting the Fly HM, I made my way south to Pastoria City, where I quickly grabbed the Dawn Stone and evolved Mars into Gallade!
    • Beat the trainers on the other side of Pastoria, then beat Barry and took on the gym.
    • Crasher Wake wasn't very difficult to beat with all my electric and grass moves.
    • Team Galactic bomb plot stuff, and we landed in Celestic Town, where we beat Cyrus for the first time.
    • Got the Surf HM and saved the game.

    Why are you hacking in Lotad? If you do that, your runthrough won't count. No hacking allowed, since you can get Bulbasaur right away in LeafGreen.

    EDIT: Just read your post on the Christian Challenge. The rules for this challenge say that if you can't get three members legally, there's no need to hack the third. Also, if you changed your game to FireRed, you could get Scyther. If you don't feel like changing your game, you can run with just Venusaur and Victreebel. Lotad is not in the game though, so please don't use it.

    I can't evolve them, so I'll switch to FireRed since Scyther is a good unevolved Bug type...well...the only good green unevolved Bug type.

    • Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (White).

    Update #3 on Platinum.
    • Surfed to Canalave City, where I beat Barry.
    • Took on the gym as well. Byron went down pretty easily thanks to Ace's Flamethrower and Mars' Leaf Blade.
    • Skipped Iron Island for now and beat Saturn and Jupiter in the lakes.
    • Went up to Route 217 and caught Ice Queen the Snorunt in the snow.
    • Fed her some vitamins, then flew back to Iron Island to train her. Got the Shiny Stone there and evolved Ace into Togekiss!
    • After that we trudged through the snow to Snowpoint City. Ace dominated Candice with Flamethrower.
    • Found the Dawn Stone in Mt. Coronet, and Ice Queen finally evolved into Froslass!
    • More plot stuff, and we beat up Team Galactic HQ and Cyrus.
    • Headed inside Mt. Coronet and once outside, I caught my final team member, Disastrous the Absol!
    • Reached the top of Mt. Coronet and beat Mars and Jupiter, then Cyrus in the Distortion World. Goodbye Team Galactic...
    • Did a bunch of EV training, maxing out Ace, Mars, and Hoarder.
    • Arrived in Sunyshore City and took on the gym. Volkner wasn't too difficult to beat either.
    • Saved in Veilstone City, about to finish EV training.

    -Beat Sabrina, after forgetting bite is a normal type in this game.

    -Went to the elite 4
    -Elite #1 took a while because wasted all my mega kicks (later replaced with submission)
    -Elite #2 Down with spamming surfs
    -Elite #3 EQ and The Rest of my Surfs got it done.
    -Got to Elite #4 and beat Lance and Used all my Blizzards
    -Down to about 15 submissions, took on Gary and ran out of submissions with Venusaur down to 1/3 HP. Struggled to beat Gary and became the champ.
