  • Things you'll need:
    GimP. 2.0-2.4.
    a D/P sprite(I used coronis Blue D/P sprite)
    Blue.png

    Step 1:
Open the D/P Sprite of Blue(or anyone else).
    Click the resize tool.

    Step 2:
    put it to 64x64,
    Then you're done... right?
    No.

    Step 3
copy the resized image and go into paint, and paste it.
View 8x and edit the blur parts(the outlining of it is a bit screwed up,so refix the outline to the black color instead of grayish.)

Now you're done and ready to insert!

The problem with your tutorial is that when you zoom in on your finished product, it turns out that you're adding a bunch of colors that'll surpass the 16-color palette in hacks.

Look at all those shades of grey! It'd be a pain to remove those...

If you used my D/P Resizing Tutorial you'd get better results.

    All the pixelation is gone!

I'm not trying to sound rude, but it saves the person a lot of time rather than going through later and removing all those excess pixels. :3
