What type specialist would your name suggest?

  • For example, names like Drake and Lance seem to suggest that you use dragon types. You don't have to give me your real name because I'd probably get in trouble if I asked for it so I won't.

    For me...

Joseph I think would suggest that I use Psychic or Water maybe.

Both my forum and real name (Marina) pretty obviously suggest Water types, perhaps delving a bit into ice. I've never favored them in the games, though, where I usually try to keep a balanced team with as few repeat types as I can.

  • Ooh, that's a bit difficult because I can never figure out which name to use. My proper name, Savannah, would suggest grass and normal types since it means 'treeless plain'. That kind of sets me up to have things like maybe Sunkern, Rattata, Yanappu and Hoppip. The name I go by, Anna, would also suggest normal types- Clefairy, Eevee, Sentret, Meowth.

Both suggest small, basic Pokémon. They'll do.

  • Shane hmmm...I would probably be Irish and fighting with Alcohol types :P so many stereotypes

Um...I don't know tbh. I think I would be a quiet type so probably a Psychic dude. But my name probably suggests Normal types lol

Though my Chinese name (nobody cares do they) would suggest that I use "otherworldly" Pokémon such as Clefairy.

And droomph is a definite Whitney :P

  • I can't really think of anything that Oliver would relate to, though the pronouncation of my nickname is also in Poliwag, so I'm guessing Water types? Otherwise, I'd probably say Grass types, as my name does come from the word olive, which would mostly relate to Grass types, I guess :p

My name is Chelsea... I don't know... the 'sea' bit could be played off like Water-types... I think my name's quite general that it could be believable for a few types.

My real name would probably suggest Ground, Rock, or Steel-type Pokemon. As much as I love Water-types, my name just doesn't fit it too well.

The meaning of my name would suggest that I'd specialise in Dragon types, but I think it sounds somewhat fitting for Ice as well. It also has potential for Steel, I suppose.

Zorra would most likely correlate with Dark or Fire types, considering Zorra is spanish for female fox/vixen. I'd gladly be a dark or fire specialist. Alison, on the other hand, would be harder to match with a type. Normal or Dragon, maybe? Ice?

  • Considering my name and my username relates to light... Maybe Fire or Electric types since Star = Fire, and Light leans towards electricity. Then again, maybe Psychic or since they can use Flash which creates light... Hmm....

  • My real name is "Shannon", and my last name is a Native American last name. Does this mean I have to use Bouffalant and Braviary as my main Pokemon? XD

But seriously - I'd much rather have a fire type team.

  • Username is a reference to electricity and currents, so yeah, the Electric type. Electric & Fire are symbiotic though, so Fire would also work. :>

My real name is shared by an elite 4 member who uses Psychic types so maybe that.
Forum name is pretty poison focused, although making a serpent team of Arbok, Serviper, Steelix, Gyarados, Serperior and Milotic would be cool

My name, close enough to my real name, dosen't mean anything as far as I know...
However it sounds like I'd be a Ground or Dark type user.

  • My real name is just the same as the name I use on here, Axel.

I think maybe Fire or Steel? Well they're the types that come to mind when I think of my name, haha. :) And I love fire types, so it's all good!
