  • So, as my first thread, I decided to ask you; what kind of gym leader would you be? Now, it does come to my mind that I shouldn't restrict it to just gym leaders, but Elite Four and Champions as well. However, don't just say Champion to be a Champion. That's just silly.

    Gym Leader/E4/Champion (choose one):
    Name:
    Title:
    Type specialty:
    Pokemon:
    Personality and Background:

Now, if you wish to be a Champion without a type specialty, then write none in the specialty space.

(I hope I'm not sounding too robotic!)

So, I am a Poison Type E4 member by the name of Drew. My pokemon are: Arbok (companion), Gengar, Drapion, Scolipede, Roserade, and Tentacruel. I was born a child who was abandoned at an early age. I was found on the street by a Toxicologist who took care of me until he died in a lab accident. He taught me to play the oboe, which I now use to communicate with my pokemon, who learned a language spoken by music. I eventually found Koga's gym in Kanto and I idolized him. He treated me like a second son and I became as powerful a ninja as Janine. However, when he became a member of the E4, he totally abandoned me, leaving me a bitter teen full of hatred for those that abandoned me. Kota eventually retired as an E4 member and I took his place.

I forgot my title. It is: The Venomous Soloist

  • Gym Leader/E4/Champion (choose one): Gym Leader

    Name: Jim

    Title: The Wandering Warrior!

    Type specialty: Fighting

    Pokemon: Heracross - Scrafty - Blaziken - Gallade - Cobalion - Hitmontop

Personality and Background: Born in Castelia city, Jim was raised in an especially rough part of the city solely by his mom. His father had left home when he was 2 to pursue a career as a "great Pokemon champion," and that's all that his mother had told him. When Jim was 9, his mother became gravely ill from an unknown disease, and was forced to stay in the hospital. Jim swore to find a cure, and began his journey across the Poke-world. He caught many Pokemon, and traveled to many regions for several years, until he discovered the SecretPotion in the Johto region. However, by the time he reached his mother, she had died. Overcome with rage, Jim swore to find his father and make him pay for leaving him and his mother to their fate. Jim did not know his father's true name, and only had one picture of him. Jim spent the next year looking for his father, until he discovered that the Elite four member Marshal bore a striking resemblance to him. Determined to take him by surprise, Jim defeated the Unova gyms and eventually challenged Marshal to a fight during the Pokemon League championship. However, Jim discovered that Marshal had somehow lost his memories of his earlier life. Jim felt really guilty about scheming to kill his amnesiac father, and instead decided to train under him, never telling his father that he was his son, or that his wife was dead.

At 19, and after 2 years of training under his father, Jim became a sort of Roaming Gym Leader, challenging powerful trainers who he came across in his travels, and rewarding them with the very rare and almost legendary Master Badge, which allows a trainer to earn the respect of any Pokemon he meets.

(Whoa I turned that into a mini-fan-fic, kwehehe)

  • Sounds like fun, I may give it a try

Gym Leader/E4/Champion (choose one): Gym Leader

Name: Danny (similar to my first real name)

Title: [Can't think of one, so maybe a bit of inspiration/suggestions will be appreciated]

    Type specialty: Water

Pokemon: Dewott (everstone), Buizel (everstone), Bibarel, Palpitoad (everstone), Wartortle (everstone), Frillish (everstone)

    Personality and Background:
Being born in Nacrene City, Danny decides to become a Pokemon Breeder, it started off good, made many friends - befriended many Pokemon. He felt as it he had not accomplished much, so he turns to his second option in life, to become a Pokemon Doctor, gave up the idea if it meant to be a University or College for months & years doing boring lectures and not getting a chance of to interact with Pokemon. Final option was to become a Pokemon master, after winning 8 badges and realizing how well gym leaders worked with the Pokemon - Danny got inspiration to become a Gym Leader as well, worked hard and succeeded in catching Pokemon League's attention. He was Gym's assistant when ever Marlon swims away in Humilau City - and other challengers come in for the Wave Badge.

  • Gym Leader/Elite Four/Champion (choose one): Gym Leader
    Name: Alexander
    Title: The Icy Conglomerate
    Type specialty: Ice and Water
    Pokémon: Cloyster (Water/Ice)

    Articuno (Ice/Flying)

    Glaceon (Ice)
    Spr_4d_471.png

Personality and background: Born and raised in Mahogany Town, Alexander is a loner but not completely anti-social. He got his passion for Ice type Pokémon from none other than Pryce, Mahogany Town's gym leader. Alexander vows one day to be the best Ice type trainer in the world and to take over Pryce's duty as gym leader. In order to do so, Alexander travels all over Johto and Kanto in search for powerful Ice and Water type Pokémon. His first Pokémon was a Cloyster, which he evolved from a Shellder he found in the waters between Johto and Kanto. Gyarados and other Water and/or Ice types followed shortly after. Alexander heard a legend that Articuno, a legendary bird of ice, was inhabiting the Seafoam Islands outside Cinnabar Island in Kanto, so after raising Cloyster and his other Pokémon to high levels, Alexander went in search for Articuno in hopes of capturing it and become the ice master he wanted to be. Despite its treacherous waters, Alexander and his loyal Ice types made it to the Seafoam Islands and explored deep inside its icy caverns. The frigid conditions of the caverns threatened Alexander's health, but he didn't want to give up looking for the ice bird of legend. Finally, after swimming through dangerous and chilly waters and climbing icy cliffs, Alexander found Articuno, and challenged it to a battle. Articuno proved to be quite a challenge for Alexander and his Pokémon, using moves like Mist to conceal itself and devastating Alexander's Pokémon with powerful Ice moves like Ice Beam and Blizzard. Alexander was down to Cloyster after awhile, and he wondered if he'd be stranded in the icy cold islands should he lost all his Pokémon to Articuno. Vowing not to give up, Alexander sent his last Pokémon, Cloyster, to take down Articuno. Alexander put all his faith into his Cloyster, who he had trained hard enough to withstand powerful moves and dish it back out. Articuno again proved to be difficult, concealing itself with Mist and evading Cloyster's attacks. Despite this, Cloyster was able to use moves like Aurora Beam and Ice Beam to weaken the legendary bird, but Articuno shook off the pain and kept bombarding Cloyster. Cloyster's shell took alot of heavy blows from Articuno, but in one final desperation, Cloyster used Spike Cannon to send huge pieces of icicles down on Articuno, weakening it enough for Alexander to capture it. Alexander later returned home to Mahogany Town and told Pryce of his capture. Pryce, although at times stubborn, praised Alexander's efforts and let Alexander take control of the Mahogany Town gym after Alexander's Pokémon were strong enough after hard training inside Mt. Mortar. Although he was now the new Mahogany Town gym leader, Alexander did not feel satisfied, so he continued to travel, train and discover new Ice type Pokémon all across the regions.

If you were an elite four member...?

If you were an elite four member, what type would you specialize in, what region would you prefer to be part of, and what would your team be?

I would be in the Kanto region, I would specialize in the fire type, and my team would be as follows:
    -Charizard
    -Flareon
    -Arcanine
    -Ninetails
    -Rapidash
    -Magmar

Leave your responses! I would love to hear what you have to say!

Gym Leader/E4/Champion (choose one): Gym Leader
    Name: Peter
    Title: Mysterious Trainer
    Type specialty: All Around
    Pokemon: Charizard - Raichu - Braviary - Victreebell - Feraligatr - Gengar
Personality and Background: After finding an injured Charmander in the woods, I took it back to a Pokemon center and healed it. The Charmander decided to stay with me and I trained it. Two years later, I teamed up with lance and Gold to take down Team Rocket. I was captured, but Charmander saved me, and I rescued a Rufflet, Bellsprout and Totodile from Team Rocket. When we escaped, I found two Pokemon following me: Pichu and Gastly. I eventually trained my team, beat the Elite 4, and became the 8th Gym Leader.
I am a really mysterious person, and I don't talk much. Hence the title: Mysterious Trainer.

And instead of mentioning it in a post, you should hit the report button when you see something like this in the future ;) That way, we can find it and fix it quicker!

Since there already is a thread that isn't as narrow as this one and encompasses elite 4 members as well, I will merge the two. Keep posting, yo.

    ;)

I would want to be a steel type leader, because the spectrum of steel types is very broad and include many other types. So I can sneak in some pokémon I like a lot or just think fit :D Plus, steel types are cool, often have slashing moves and are pretty straightforward. Which I like.

Name: Chayne (get it? chain :D)
    Title: Gym Leader
    Speciality: Steel type

    Pokémon:

Why Metang and Magneton? Because there's no fun in having the very strongest pokémon available at all times :3 I would not like to be the very last gym leader in a region anyways. Maybe the 6th or 7th. Plus, even though I do love Metagross, I like Magneton's design a lot better than Magnezone's and Magneton and Metang look better as a duo ;)

Scizor and Empoleon would be my main fighters, with Ferrothorn as a clever backup and Steelix as a powerhouse. The M-duo would be for double battles or when I need some psychic or electric, and I would probably keep those two out of their pokéballs often, just floating about near me.

I'd be a Bug type gym leader as I just think it would be fun to use my favorite buggies as the final Gym leader of the region.

    Scizor
    Venomoth
