Meanwhile, Jessica had engaged herself in lite conversation with a boy around her age. He had a lillipup and seemed slightly shy around her. Jessica motioned to her Boufallant, casually recounting some of the details of how he'd come to become the first member of her team. After a short bit though she began to feel as if she were not giving the boy any room to talk. However, upon asking the boy avoided discussing his feelings by saying he was fine. Jessica wasn't sure she believed him, but oh well. The boy glanced over in the direction of the professor's lab and explained he needed to go there. Jessica, feeling as if she had little to lose and offered to tag along.

Thus, the country gal with the buffalo pokemon and a Snivy she had recieved from this exact place wouund up making her way back into the lab, both pokemon casually following along behind her Boufallant was pretty tame, all things considered. She wasn't very worried about him making her regret letting him stay out of his pokeball.

  • Dazane Zamora

He was getting cocky when suddenly, a voice rung inside his head. I am disappointed you. Shaking it off at first, he kept walking along until it repeated itself. You know I am.

"Tree?" Treecko asked, confused. Dazane looked down.

"My father. Even in my head he remains." The mudkip was in his arms, and his father's image came to his mind every time he thought of the creature. "Fine." Placing the Mudkip back inside its pokeball, he throws it to Treecko, so was shocked at first. "Return it for me. The lab is too far away anyway for me to walk there," he complained a bit, the Treecko not able to believe what he was saying. "I know you did it since....you're Arbol. But I can never go against my father. Somehow...he always knows what is happening." Not wanting to argue with his master, the Treecko took the ball into its mouth and dashed back towards the lab. The Ralts simply watched, then huddled next to Dazane.

    "Ra?"

"You knew about this, didn't you?" Dazane mumbled out, looking up at the sky. 'Great...now I made a bad first impression on the others. They probably think I am a thief. Oh well.'

Back to where Treecko was, it dashed until he made it to the lab. Sneaking in, he simply tossed the ball back into the tray, not knowing if anybody saw him. He then dashed back out, not waiting on anybody to say anything. At first he felt angered that Dazane somehow refused the ball....but he started to feel guilty too. His master was so confusing.

  • Cleo noticed a girl with a Snivy and a Buffallant after walking around a bit. She smiled, amazed at the pokemon. She rushed over before the girl had a chance to leave, her two pokemon at her heals. She forced a casual, nice smile.

"Um...hi! I'm Cleo, and I couldn't help but notice your lovely pokemon. I've never seen Unova pokemon in person!"She said nicely, she was a good actress.

No one could ever tell she was acting because she used to be nice like that, so she knew how to do it. She could keep it up for at least a week, but she may not need that long. She wished she could reveal her true self, but no one ever accepted her true self. And she would not travel alone.

Loretta and April walked over to Snivy.

    "Cynda!"Loretta said.

    "Oddish!"April said.

"Loretta and April seem to be getting along with each other now."She thought smiling at her pokemon.

It was true. The two pokemon seemed to be off on a great start. That'd make things a lot easier for Cleo training-wise. She looked back and the girl, still smiling.

"Looks like my Loretta and April are friendlier than I thought."

  • Xoxaa Lizarkia

Xoxaa examined the trays of supplies and starters. Noticing how the tray of starters had stickers on them labeling the species inside. along with a small excerpt out of the Pokedex detailing aspects of the species including its type. She came across the ball she was looking for. The picture of an orange, bipedal salamander-like creature was plastered on the removable sticker. Eagerly, Xoxaa made her selection, grabbing the pokeball containing the fire-type from Kanto, making her decision. A small smile on her face, a gesture she doesn't make lightly, appears with the satisfaction of obtaining a new friend.

Quickly, she acquired the remaining supplies required for her journey and made her way out of the building as quickly as possible to meet her new friend, and to not be bogged down by the social squabbles of the others. The girl's blue worm Pokemon, a dratini resting on her shoulders, looked up at her, squealing curiously, then glancing back at the pokeball containing a new buddy. Xoxaa acknowledged her dratini's curiosity, giving him a light smile before returning her gaze to the pokeball, the lair of their new companion.

"It's a new friend. Are you ready, Xgok?"

Squeaking in approval, Xoxaa presses the button on the pokeball's shell, unlocking the device and letting loose a bright light, spawning the silhouette of a pokemon, the orange salamander of fire. The creature looked around nervously, unfamiliar with its new surroundings before turning its cautious eyes upward to its new trainer, another pokemon docked on her shoulders. Xgok, the girl's dratini chirped hospitably towards the fire-type, but still it kept its ground, unsure of it and its trainer's intentions. Frowning slightly, Xoxaa dropped to her knees, Xgok sliding off of her shoulders but keeping its distance from the fire-type as to not make it too uncomfortable.

Looking to her left, Xoxaa slings her bag over, digging through the green container to pull out a bag of food, turning to the fire-type and dumping some of the food onto the ground and backing up, giving it space to eat. Xgok, betraying Xoxaa's caution, squirms over to the food pile, pulling up to the pile of food and taking a bite out of the food pile, gobbling some pellets and then looking to the fire-type, confirming the quality of the food with a friendly gesture before backing off, giving it the space to eat in peace.

  • Blair Doltrey

    BANG! Thud.

Blair was violently ripped out of her own world when a the vent on the ceiling was bursted open and a man dropped down into her room. She let loose a shrilly scream and instinctively took a defensive stance, but only for a moment. How absurd, the girl had been waiting for her escort to arrive in her room all day, and when he finally appeared, she panicked. Flustered, Blair took an agressive swing.

"Seviper, halt," she issued loudly towards the man. At the exact same moment, the snake-Pokemon's head appeared right next to her elbow, frozen in it's pouncing stance, though his tongue was flickering wildly.

Now in better sight, the man appeared very young, only maybe a few years older than Blair, though his head was shining and hairless. He extended his hand towards her.

"Hello, the name is Hannibal," he introduced. Her emerald eyes spun around the room in a sassy manner. She left his hand hanging.

"My bags," Blair said in a commanding voice, gesturing to the foot of the queen-sized bed, where two large, clearly over-stuffed bags sat, dying to be transported and unloaded.

"I must say, you're earlier than I expected. Though of course I've been prepared for a while. How long will the flight take? I assume we're flying, correct?" Her bombardment of questions was done all in a single breath, and delivered in again a superior, commanding tone.

  • My my, this was getting out of hand, in a good way. Their were trainers coming in n' out of the lab, choosing their starter Pokemon each. "Welcome!" He kept repeating to any new trainers that came by. "Please only take 5 Pokeballs." He kept adding. My, whenever their were new trainers, a professor's work is never done.

"Name's professor Gerald." He also added. Always introduce yourselves when entering someone's place.

    -

Kilik saw many trainers come in n' out of the lab. At this rate their wouldn't be any Pokemon left for Kilik to take. Valorie can wait. Right now Kilik had to get a starter Pokemon before their wasn't any left for him.

With Night catching up behind, Kilik ran inside to see what he could get. Already a couple Pokeballs taken. Their was one Pokemon he wanted. He took the Pokeball labeled Oshawott, took a few stuff needed in the tray, & looked at the professor. He introduced himself as professor Gerald. Kilik gave him his name & left.

"Well that went well." He said.

"I don't know. Their are a lot of people here. I don't like it." Night replied, looking around.

"Oh brother..." Kilik wondered what went inside that Zorua's head sometimes. Regardless, he got what he wanted. He pressed the little button on the Pokeball he got, & out came a little Oshawott. Well it looked cool to say the least. "Nice to meet you. I'm Kilik Chambers." He introduced himself to Oshawott. Oshawott showed a smile & raised a paw toward his new friend.

"Hi! I'm Night! Who the heck are you?" Night greeted, giggling.

"Cut it out Night." Kilik responded. Night simply ignored Kilik a bit & kept looking around. "Now, what should I call you...? How about Yaibe?" Yaibe was japanese for Blade, so it would fit well for Oshawott.

"Osha!" Oshawott growled happily. This would be his new name.

Now how to start off his adventure. Kilik could go to Route 1 & start his adventure, or he could talk to people around & make friends. Kilik always likes attention & hates being ignored, so making friends it is. He saw 2 girls talking with each other. One of them had a Cyndaquil & Oddish. The other had a Snivy & Bouffalant. Cyndaquil & Oddish were rather foreign Pokemon in Unova, so they were new to Kilik. Their was also a boy with the 2 girls. (I take it Yellow's NPC character. I don't know if he's still there.) This should be a good place to start a conversation.

He walked over to the small group with Yaibe & Night. "Hello there." He started. "My name is Kilik Chambers. I take it you trainers just started as well as I?" It's like he sounded wise. It's just how he speaks. He does want to achieve his goals.

  • Valorie Russo

The boy, Kilik ran off, maybe he was going to the Pokemon Lab? "Woa, talk about being rude." Valorie commented. Bailey and Celeste both nodded together and looked at Valorie, "What?" she said, Celeste jerked her head to follow Kilik, "Okay okay, fine. I guess i do need some pokeballs." Valorie admitted. The girls started to run towards the lab, she didn't care about the Pokemon there but she just wanted to find food. Now Valorie and her pokemon were right infront of the lab, they walked inside and looked around. "Nice." Valorie said, walking while looking around. She looked back infront of her and managed to stop right in time, if she had taken another step she would have bumped into the Professor, "Hi!" Valorie greeted. "Im Valorie and im here for some pokeballs, and a Pokedex. Maybe some food to if you have any."

Valorie smiled and waved at him a little, then put her hand down and looked around, "Are those the pokemon?" she asked looking at a tray with a few pokeballs on them.

  • Jessica Stark

Jessica had been off on a tangeant about something or another with the boy she'd walked in with when Cleo approached her. Jessica turned to acknowledge the other female with a smile, oblivious of any 'acting' that was going on. She had no reason to suspect anything there. When she spoke, Cleo may become aware of her accent almost immediately. It was something of a drawl.

"G'mornin'! I'm Jessica, or Jessie if'n ya' prefer that."

One hand on her hip, the other raising to motion towards herself as she spoke next.

"Well, I'm from Unova myself. Lacunosa Town--born and raised."

She seemed to glow with a bit of pride saying this. Something then seemed to cross her mind, and she reached out to motion towards Boufallant with the hand not on her hip as if to pat him on the side, though the contact never happened. Meanwhile, Jessica's snivy was just all 'Why me?', as she was still apparently waking up. She wasn't a morning pokemon, evidently.

"This here's my oldest friend. He actually used t' be owned by m' family back on the ranch..."

Boufallant glanced at Jessica, seemingly understanding he was being talked about. While Jessica had been talking, the boy she'd been with had wandered off to attend to business of his own, presumably searching for a pokemon. Jessica abruptly seemed humbled by something and directly acknowledged the compliment she'd been given earlier.

"But... thank you. It's nice to meet you, Cleo."

As she finished saying this she dropped her hand from her hip and held out the opposite hand, offering a handshake. Flattery appeared to have worked nicely. Of course, about then a boy approached. He introduced himself as Kilik and asked them both a question. Jessica responded by turning her head to acknowledge him and smiling apologetically, as if asking him for a moment before she responded. She did not want to divert her attention until after Cleo got a chance to accept or deny the handshake. It was after all proper. If Cleo examines Jessica's hands, she'd find that her fingers bore calluses, the sign of a working person.

  • Cleo listened to the girl, noting her accent. She had just a very slight tint in her voice of a proud rich girl. (notice I said proud not prissy) She wasn't a snob or anything, so she didn't mind. One of her best friends used have a accent similar to this girl's. Cleo saw calluses on her hand. She knew this usually came from people who were hard workers. Cleo happily shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you Jessie."She said."Like I said I'm Cleo, and my Oddish here is April, and my new Cyndaquil is Loretta."

For some reason, Cleo used to wish to live on a ranch. And again for some unknown reason, it stopped. Cleo always wondered what persuaded the changes. She kept smiling as she thought about each and every one of her friends, cousin, and sister leaving for their journey and her staying behind. They'd left her alone, but she didn't care because she was staying for her mom. Cleo tried to convence herself of that anyways. She really felt cold and alone. Like she had to totally start over in life. She kept on smiling, even though her eyes showed her troubled-ness.

Cleo decided to ease into her true self. Little by little she'd get bolder, more sarcstic, ect. She had tried this a few times before, and it'd worked better than just a sudden change. Better results. Her friends assumed she changed instead of had just been tricking them. Even though it was true she was tricking them.

Cleo dropped the hand shake after a moment and turned to the boy who just aproched them and took a deep breath, smiling.

"Yes."She said kindly."I'm Cleo, Cleo Miers."

    "Cynda!"

    "Oddish!"

"Oh, and this is my new Cyndaquil Loretta and Oddish April."She said, her right hand open off her side, figures pointing towards her pokemon, her other one un-stiffly by her side.

  • What a busy day professor Gerald was having. It was rather great for him. He usually doesn't socialize, except when studying Pokemon in the Bara region. "Hi!" Someone's voice came up. It was a girl with headphones. She had a Chikorita & Eevee with her. How nice. "Im Valorie and im here for some pokeballs, and a Pokedex. Maybe some food to if you have any." Food?

"Hello Valorie. My name is professor Gerald. You can pick up 5, I mean only 5, Pokeballs from the tray, as well as a Pokedex, some potions & a C-Gear." Valorie waved hello to professor Gerald. How nice. She looked at the Pokeballs with the starter in them.

"Are those the pokemon?" She asked. Curious isn't she.

"Why of course. I'm offering them to trainers that arrived to the Bara region for the first time." Gerald looked at the Chikorita by the Oddish. "Since you already have Chikorita, it wouldn't be right to hand you a starter. So, please just take what you need in the tray." Gerald said in the nicest way. "Oh, & I'll get some food for you since you asked." He walked to a fridge & took out a Pecha sandwich. He gave it to Valorie since she wanted food. "Here you go."

    -

The girl who was giving out her hand to the other girl for a handshake looked at Kilik, nodding to his question. Then she just started too. She smiled apologetically to him. At least she didn't ignore him. The other girl shaked her hand. That was over.

The girl with the Cyndaquil & Oddish noticed Kilik & turned to him. "Yes." She answered his question. She just started too then. "I'm Cleo, Cleo Miers." Cleo was her name. So far Kilik has met only girls since he arrived in Penma Town. At least Yaibe was a male & not a female.

    "Cynda!"

    "Oddish!"

"Oh, and this is my new Cyndaquil Loretta and Oddish April." Cleo introduced her Pokemon. That means she got Loretta from the lab.

Night walked up to Loretta & April. The first thing she did was transform into an Oddish, just for fun. "Hi! I'm Night. Please to meet ya!" She giggled. Sometimes she can't resist having fun.

Kilik only sighed at Night's illusion. She was an Oddish, so what? "Oh brother..." He shook his head with his hand on his forehead. Sometimes she can give him headaches. Then he suddenly remembered about the other girl. "I'm sorry. I didn't catch your name." He said. Yaibe walked up to Bouffallant & Snivy. It was nice to see Snivy since they were both from Unova. He introduced himself with a smile & raised a paw as a greeting.

  • Xoxaa Lizarkia

For whatever reason, the others had chosen to ignore her and instead began talking with other trainers. Xoxaa didn't actually mind this. In fact, she preferred it. People weren't exactly her thing. She was intent on getting what she needed from Penma, and then immediately begin her journey towards the first gym of Penma. Still, there was one more thing she had to take care of before setting out to the next destination.

The cautious fire-type received confirmation of the safety of the food from Xoxaa's dratini, but it couldn't help but be nervous about its new trainer. Still, it really had no choice. The salamander pokemon approached the pile of food slowly, avoiding eye contact and looking downward towards the ground. After arriving at the food pile, the creature examined the food closely before picking up and smelling it, unsure about the safety of the food. Still, Xoxaa and Xgok waited patiently, attempting win their new friend's trust. Finally, the fire-type took a bite and began to eat. The creature quickly began to eat more and more, satisfied by its meal.

Finishing in short order, the creature growled softly, before belching, falling on its rump, and looking towards the ground, a satisfied look on its face. It then looked up, acknowledging Xoxaa and Xgok for their friendliness. Still, it was still too cautious to approach, so Xoxaa did instead, rising to her feat and approaching it closely.

"Welcome to the family!" she declares, squatting down and extending her arms towards the pokemon with a smile on her face.

It lept into her hands, satisfied with its new trainer. Xgok squealed with approval of its new friend. Xoxaa then rose to her feet, holding the fire-type in her arms. The alliance had been made, and with two pokemon in tow, she was ready to take off. However, she had one more thing to take care of before leaving, lowering her new pokemon to the ground and reaching into her bag once more. Finding what she needed, she pulled out the fire-type's pokeball.

"Ready to go, Pyom?" she inquired enthusiastically, naming her newest pokemon while holding out Pyom's pokeball in front of it, ready to return it.'

"Charr!" it growled energetically, ready to go.

Activating the pokeball, it siphons Pyom back into its pokeball, which Xoxaa then places on her belt, hooking it for security and easy access instead of having to dig through her bag for it every time. She then turns her attention to the crowd of trainers outside of the Professor's lab. It was time to take off, and yet she haven't even gotten to know any of the new trainers here. Still, she wasn't much of a talker. Thus, she slung her bag over her shoulder, and the two prepared to make their way to their next destination.

Valorie looked back at Professor Gerald as he replied. "Why of course. I'm offering them to trainers that arrived to the Bara region for the first time." Like Valorie, except she had a starter already so she probably wouldn't get one. "Since you already have Chikorita, it wouldn't be right to hand you a starter. So, please just take what you need in the tray." Gerald said. "Okay!" She replied happily, not really minding she didn't get another pokemon. "Oh, & I'll get some food for you since you asked." "Wow, who knew he would actually give me food." Valorie said to her pokemon. Celeste and Bailey nodded in surprise. "Here you go." The professor was back with the food, he got a Pecha berry sandwich. One of Valorie's faviroute foods. "Thanks!" Valorie said as she took a bite from the sandwich.

"So, whats a C-Gear? and what colors does it come in?" Valorie asked politely when she had finished swallowing the first piece of her food. Celeste tugged Valorie's leg before Gerald could reply, she jerked her head towards the boy she had met earlier, Kilik. He seemed to have chosen Oshawott. "Ok fine, you can go meet the new pokemon." Celeste and Bailey gave happy faces then ran off over to Kilik. "Now what did i say? oh yea, does the C-Gears come in dark blue?" Valorie asked again.

  • Dazane Zamores

Dazane waited for Arbol to come back, yet he grew worried after a few minutes had gone by. Glancing down at Espada, all he could do is lean against a tree and put on his headphones. The Ralts looked back at the lab that wasn't that far away, and noticed a female trainer starting to head their way. Curious, he nudges Dazane to see for himself.

"What is it Espada?" he spoke as he lowered his headphones. The Ralts pointed at the female, who behind her was a distracted Treecko. Suddenly, Arbol accidentally bumps into her. He was rather distracted looking, probably still feeling guilty from earlier. "This is why I prefer to stay here," Dazane mumbled out, knowing that Espada wanted him to go check it out. "What do you want me to do about it? Treecko can take care of himself, he's a big Treecko now," Dazane replied to the worried Espada, lifting his headphones. He watched out of the corner of his eye as Treecko stumbled back and grew amazed at the rare pokemon on the woman's shoulders.

  • Cleo was quite caught of gaurd seeing the Zoura turn into a Oddish.

"Woah!"She exclaimed."I remember my mom telling me about Zouras. I wanted one so bad... then I switched to wanting a Audino, then I wanted a Pikachu, then I wanted Oddish. So yeah, that was my last faze."

Cleo found herself talkitive then. She looked between the oddish's.

"Oh crud. Which one of you are April..."She said and got on her knees.

    She looked for a minute.

"You."She said and stood up, choosing the real April.

She stood up. "My twin cousins had dittos. I could tell which was the real pokemon by their personality."

She remembered when her cousins came around she'd beg them to release their dittos and have them transform into rare pokemon. She adored watching them practice for compititons, she was jelous they had dittos. Cleo remembered she tried to steal the dittos once, and she had them perfectly hidden in till they were about to call the police and she had to un-hide them and say she found them. They never knew she had stole them in the first place.

    "Oddish!"April said.

Cyndaquil trotted over in front of Night.

    "Cynda?"

    "That's the Zoura."

    "Cynda."Cyndaquil said with a nod.

"So, does it ever get confusing with him around?"Cleo asked, refering to Night.

  • ((Xoxaa hasn't left the city yet. :P In fact, she hasn't even left yet, but we can still be in town.))

    Xoxaa Lizarkia

The other trainers seemed to be occupied with getting to know each other. A meet and greet, so to speak. Not quite her style, thus it was time to take off. Her pokemon were ready, and she has everything in order. However, she barely got a chance to get moving. After a block or so she made it to the Penma Plaza, just before the town park beyond. And beside her own Pokemon resting peacefully on her shoulders, she wasn't alone. Pausing briefly to look around the plaza and the park behind it, something forgot the memo that she stopped walking, and thus collided with her. Whatever it was, it stumbled to the ground. Xoxaa jumped, startled by the impact and causing her dratini to fall off of her shoulders, using its tail shrewdly to leverage itself off of her backside to control its fall.

Xgok gave the interloper a suspicious glance. It was a green, reptilian creature, disoriented from the collision. Xoxaa turned around quickly, looking for her dratini. Fortunately, it found a way to save its fall, but she found something else. The Pokemon seemed to be astray and delirious. Suddenly, she turns to her left and digs through her bag, pulling out her newly obtained pokedex.

"Let's give this thing a test run..." she mumbles to herself, flipping open the pokedex and turning it on.

The pokedex then scans the creature before her, displaying information on the pokemon.

"Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokemon," the pokedex uttered upon completion of its scan. "This pokemon travels in colonies, inhabiting large trees in forests and scaling the woodlands using countless tiny spikes on the soles of their feet."

"A Treecko!" she squeaks with glee, grabbing Pyom's pokeball on her belt and dislodging it from the belt.

Opening the pokeball, Pyom is summoned outside, facing the grass-type that Xoxaa had conveniently bump into her. She then whips out her pokedex again, this time scanning her Pyom.

"Charmander, the Liza-," blurts the pokedex before Xoxaa presses a button, scanning a different set of data.

After scanning over the list of data, she folds up the pokedex and puts it away, now ready to know how to proceed. Xgok, reading the circumstance, returns to its trainer and jumps onto her shoulders to get a bett view of what is about to ensue.

"Alright Pyom, it's your first battle!" cheers on Xoxaa.

"Cha-charr!" growled Pyom eagerly, ready to fight the treecko that they had stumbled upon.

"Alright, start off with scratch!" enthusiastically declares Xoxaa, giving the go to attack to Pyom.

Without hesitation, the charmander rushes toward its opponent, raising its claws as it approaches the treecko and attempts to rake the grass-type to deal some solid damage.

Jessica then turned to Kilik after the handshake had ended. She seemed to be in a relatively pleasant mood, all things considered.

"I'm Jessica, an' this here Boufallant is mine--the grumpy one too."

It may be mildly obvious whom she was referring to. The snivy was clearly annoyed at having to talk to people. /Clearly/ it needed morning coffee, only pokemon didn't usually drink that. So what was it's problem anyway? Perhaps it just really hated getting up. Jessica glanced around herself briefly before moving forward to offer Kilik a handshake as well. Once again if he studied her hand he would be able to notice calluses on her exposed fingers, the sign of someone who does a lot of work with their hands.

"I was fixin' to head for the nearest gym. See if I can't score myself a badge."

Jessica wasn't really aware that either of the others had any interest in traveling together. In her experience, most people wound up heading their own way. However, how much experience did she really have at this point. Silently, she wondered if she was ready to earn her first badge in her current state. She wasn't so much into pokemon contests on the other hand. All of that judging just made her anxious. Fights were a lot more simple.

  • Dazane Zamores

"Treee treeecko?!?!" Arbol squealed out before jumping out, yet was still hit with the attack. Landing roughly, he realized he couldn't do anything without Dazane there to order him. In fact...he was useless without Dazane. Instead of battling, he leaped and caught the pokemon off guard by landing on it's head and jumping off even higher. Then, he dashed off quickly, only to be bumped into his owner.

"Arbol....you do realize what you did, right? Now you got me in trouble," Dazane complained, letting the Treecko climb up his arms and sit on his head.

"Sorry about my Treecko here, he gets distracted easily....and didn't mean to make you think he was wild," Dazane lazily apologized, noticing that she had a Charmander. 'A charmander, eh......maybe my Ralts could defeat that thing...Arbol would be weak against that fire type. Wouldn't dare take the chance.' Dazane just stood there, silent. For a moment, he spaced off into the sky. It wasn't rare for him to do that, but he didn't really want to socialize unless it had an advantage.

  • Evan sat quietly on the side of the boat, staring at the ocean water. It glowed magnificently in the sun and the sparkles on the surface gave Evan a happy feeling. Bruno sat on his shoulder, gazing into the water as well. They both observed the steady movement of the waves and the water pokemon leap out of the water. Evan and Bruno were extremely excited to explore the brand new region.

"Are you excited Bruno?" Evan asked.

    "Aipom!" Bruno shouted cheerfully.

Evan was heading to Pemna Town. This is where he will begin his journey. He thought of the new pokemon, the new people, and the new areas just waiting for him to explore!

"We will be docking in five minutes!" the captain said.

"Bruno i cant wait!" Evan exclaimed.

The five minutes felt more like five seconds and Evan and Bruno were the first people to leave the boat. They began to walk toward the proffesor's lab. This is where they are supposed to go first.

"Next stop! The lab!" Evan yelled happily.

Bruno leaped in excitement on Evan's shoulder as they continued down the trail to the lab.

  • Professor Gerald

"Thanks!" Valorie happily took the Pecha Sandwich Gerald brought her & took a bite. She must love that sandwich, professor Gerald was glad. "So, what's a C-Gear? And what colors does it come in?"

"A fine question. You see-" Before professor Gerald could barely start, Valorie's Pokemon were trying to get her attention. She took a moment to them & they both ran off outside. Amazing how every Pokemon is different.

Valorie turned her attention back to professor Gerald. "Now what did I say? Oh yeah, does the C-Gears come in dark blue?" Now she was asking about the color. No matter. Professor Gerald has all day to explain.

"Of course. They come in many colors, so you may choose any C-Gear you wish. Now then, the C-Gear lets you communicate with other people who are close by or far away. The Infrared, IR for short, lets you communicate with someone close by to request a battle, trade, exchange phone numbers (in the case, Friend Code), & the best part, the Feeling Check. I'm sure you'll understand what the Feeling Check is once you use it. The Online communication is wonderous. Let me explain. In it is called Game Sync. You can tuck in a Pokemon & let it fall asleep. At a Pokemon Center, you can ask permission to go to your Pokemon's dream. That's right. Thanks to Professor Fennel, we are able to see within Pokemon's dreams. For the Wireless communication, you can use the Xtransciever to call anyone, if you have their number. Also, there's an Entralink. I'm sure the folks in Entralink will explain the rest, if you decide to go there. It is somewhat related to Game Sync." That was one long explanation. Gerald took a glass of water to refresh himself.

"So please choose your Xtransciever & other stuff to start you off. Oh, give me a minute!" He had almost forgotten. He walked over to his desk & took a folder with paperwork inside. He offered it to Valorie. "I'm sorry, but could you take this to the next town? In Aldia Town, my colleage lives in an apartment. I need you to take this to him when you get there, it's very important. Can you do it?" Professor Gerald hoped she would accept.

    Kilik Chambers

Night looked at Cloe all funny. She was surprised. "I remember my mom telling me about Zouras. I wanted one so bad... then I switched to wanting a Audino, then I wanted a Pikachu, then I wanted Oddish. So yeah, that was my last faze." That...was weird, mostly to Night. She was now weird to her now.

She looked at both Night & Oddish, wondering which one was the real Oddish. "Oh crud. Which one of you are April..." It took her a while before choosing the real Oddish. Night stook her tongue out at Cleo. She just loves having too much fun. "My twin cousins had dittos. I could tell which was the real pokemon by their personality." Dittos. Those Pokemon were pretty cool considering they could transform into any Pokemon.

"Then lucky you that you didn't choose Night." Kilik commented. Night looked at Killik.

"Oh shut up." She mocked him. Honestly, she just won't stop. Night noticed Cyndaquil looking at her curiously. "What are you looking at?" She asked the fire mouse Pokemon. Cleo explained to her Cyndaquil that was Zorua.

"So, does it ever get confusing with him around?" Cleo asked Kilik. Why does it feel like he's heard this?

"Not really. I can always tell who SHE really is." Kilik answered, correcting Cleo's thinking of Night's gender. This wasn't the first time.

Kilik's attention was sent to the other girl. "I'm Jessica, an' this here Boufallant is mine--the grumpy one too." Jessica. That fits her. She offered her hand for a handshake, & Kilik applied. He noticed something about her hand. Not soft, but a bit rough. she must've been a working girl. She now has Kilik's respect. He looked at her Bouffallant & Snivy. She must've chosen Snivy from professor Gerald's lab. It didn't seem fond with anything though.

Yaibe, Kilik's Oshawott, didn't get a reply from both of Jessica's Pokemon, especially Snivy. Sometimes it's not nice that Snivy's think they're cooler than other Pokemon. Yaibe introduced himself to Snivy again, attempting to get it's attention.

"I was fixin' to head for the nearest gym. See if I can't score myself a badge." Jessica replied to Kilik. She came here to challenge the gym leaders eh? Like Kilik himself.

"So you'll be going to the Pokemon League then. Looks like we'll be seeing each other there, 'cause I'm here to challenge the gym leaders too." Kilik replied with a smirk. Soon, everyone would know the champion Kilik Chambers. He wouldn't stop there though. Even as a Champion, he would still explore, honig his skills for upcoming battle & the forces of evil. There was never a break as a Pokemon Trainer.

Kilik suddenly heard 2 Pokemon. He turned to look at Chikorita & Eevee coming his way. They were Valorie's he remembered. "I see these 2 wanted to meet my Yaibe." Kilik commented. "These are someone elses Pokemon, if you don't know. Her name is Valorie. Maybe she might pop up." Kilik explained to Cleo & Jessica.

Yaibe noticed Celeste & Bailey. He wasn't gonna meet with them for the first time just yet. He waited for Snivy to reply to him.

    Coryn

Everyone was loud... oh wonderful. I shifted uncomfortably, wanting to leave but also wanting a Pokemon. Alistar growled in my arms. Shyly I moved forward to walk around the many trainers, including the professor who was murmuring about Pokeballs. Only take five, I understood. Fair enough. I walked over to them and promptly grabbed five and that C-Gear device. I grimaced slightly. I was absolutely horrid with technology on a good day. Hopefully this worked similar to a cell phone... if I could stand to lean how to use that.

I looked around the table again. There were labeled Pokeballs as well. Hmm... Alistar growled at them and sniffed. "They have Pokemon in them," I uttered softly and the SHinx nodded. "Do you want one?" The Electric type glared and puffed out his chest. Is that his way of saying he's good enough for this? I chuckled softly and warily picked on up. The label read Chimchar and I found myself smiling. It sounded a bit like a Fire=type. I pocketed the ball and nodded my head at the professor before quickly exiting the building.

Once I was a safe distance from the lab I let out a soft sigh. "I hate so much noise," I couldn't help but whine. Alistar agreed with a purring snarl.

"Shin!" "I should bite off their mouths!"

"I don't think that's a nice idea..." I never could understand Alistar very well but ever since I had him, he always had this like of biting things. So it was pretty obvious what he just said.

"Shi! Rah Shin!" "That's only because you humans don't get any glory out of biting things!"

"Okay..." It was best not to argue with him over the subject. I pulled out the Pokeball I had taken from the lab. The professor, whatever his name was, he had seen me take the ball and hadn't said anything. So... it was okay? I hoped so. Sighing I decided to release the creature. Alistar, who was happily on the ground again, tensed as I opened it. In a white flash of light appeared a red monkey with long limbs. "Chimchar," it stated calmly to me, grey eyes relaxed as the flame on its back burned calmly.

"I'm Coryn," I greeted quietly, kneeling and holding out a hand. "And I will call you... Daniel."

Daniel blinked a bit before smiling slightly. "Char." He shook my hand. Alistar growled a little but a look from the monkey, an amused one apparently, made him subside. I sat back on a bench, wondering if I should attempt to talk to the new trainers before leaving.
