  • I use both 1440x900 as well as 1680x1050
I remember seeing this once in the stats of the board.

Mine is a sexy 1600 x 1200. I always go for the biggest resolution possible for my screen for some reason.

  • I can't stand small resolutions, so I always go for the biggest I can. But right now I have two...
    Laptop: 1280x800
    Monitor: 1680x1050
I run dual screen, so I love all the space I have when using both.

I wish I had a 1920x1200 monitor because that'd be an awesome size to have.... but at the same time... finding wallpapers for them would be kind of hard. It's hard enough finding them for my monitor, so having a 1920x1200 would be murder.

The bigger, the better, I say, especially when it comes to working with things like Photoshop and Illustrator. Unfortunately, I've only had laptops for quite a long time, and the best resolution I can get from mine is 1280x800. Someday soon I want a nice, big iMac with a giant screen~ |D

  • My laptop is set on 1280x800 and I believe that may be it's maximum resolution. I haven't actually tried pushing it any higher.

  • Haven't we had loads of threads like this before?

    In any case:

MacBook: 1280x800 (maximum for my 13" widescreen)
iMac: 1440x900 (random, but maximum for the 17" widescreen)
PC: 1280x1024 (19" standard monitor, maximum for my soon-to-be-upgraded graphics card)

  • 1280 x 800 is max on my main laptop. Backup laptop has up to 1024 x 768. Backup is suckish, but it looks alright considering it has XP.

Main laptop is much better with a big widescreen resolution and Vista. :)

I love my big fat CRT, my resolution is 1800x1440. 8]

Really useful for when working on graphics, not to mention the games look beautiful on it.

Can't stand smaller resolutions, even stepping down to 1600x1200 now looks ugly. D:

The strange this is though I haven't ever seen someone with the same. o.o

  • Well, I'm mostly on PC at work, but at home I've mostly had to use my netbook since my laptop is a piece of crap and wifi only works when it decides it has a wireless card--which is rarely. <_< I might've gotten that fixed though, which is nice, because you'll see my dual-screen setup for that laptop gives me sliiiightly more stretching room than my netbook. XD

    Computer at work: 1280x1024
    Netbook: 1024x600 (DDD8)
    Laptop: 1280x800 + 1680x1050 monitor

    :] I finally got a setup going to keep internet on my laptop (routing it through my netbook lmao) and the change is so huge. @_@ I have soo much space now. I can't even keep windows maximized on either screen because it feels too big. XD;
