Let's Play
...or Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, if you American. Anywho, this is a great game, as are all of the games in the Layton series. I've pre-ordered PL and the Lost Future (or Unwound Future), and have already played and enjoyed the Curious Village and Pandora's Box games. This is my first time LPing (it's a PL LP!), so excuse the... well, rubbish quality, haha. Enough with the chat, enjoy~

Spoiler:
Perhaps the greatest art style can be found in Layton. How picturesque.
Ignore the crappy quality; it says Haroun.
Since when do video games have disclaimers. Srsly?
Rumours are lame. But that tale seems interesting. Elaborate pls.
Okay then, don't.
It's Professah Hershel Layton (who will be reffered to from here on out as the Professah or Layton), and his trusted side-kick with the annoying voice, Luke
It's...
...a saleswoman!
And, judging by those green sunglasses and the plastic flower, a vicious one, too!
Who let her past regulations?
This...thing has been caught by the grasp of the London Saleswoman. Save yourself!
I thought this game was a 3+?
Funny, because I call it a room on a train.
I'm sure the Professah doesn't approve of this sort of childish behaviour.
'Nuff said, Professah.
Elysian - divine: being of such surpassing excellence as to suggest inspiration by the gods; "her pies were simply divine"; "the divine Shakespeare"; "an elysian meal"; "an inspired performance"
That reminds me of my bedroom after my cat's been in there. -.-
[french accent]Aaah, ze Molentary Express. Ze finest train in ze world...[/french accent]
-to be read in Luke's prepubescent voice-
So yeah, Layton games are split up in to chapters, which normally have at least one or two cutscenes. Now, it's flashback time - the reason why they get on the Molentary Express.
Andrew Schrader? He sounds like a fishmonger.
Luke is the apprentice of Hershel who's the apprentice of Andrew. Cool story.
It's so hard to believe but
It's all coming back to me
It's all coming back
It's all coming back to me now - Pandora's Box, ~1980
He looks like a fishmonger, too.
You have to stand on cups to unravel the mystery?
"I have a theory, though I haven't been able to prove it yet"
That okay?
Your research has a lid?
On behalf of Professor Hershel Layton, I would like to inform you readers that his relationship with Doctor Andrew Schrader is purely business.
Me too - Luke hasn't blinked in a long time...
He's still not blinked.
Mystery Numbah One - The Elysian Box
Call an ambulance! The Professah is fixated to the floor, and can't move to the drawers virtually five centimetres beside him!
Are they...
...on the uncomfortable chair?
...on the pile of untidy books?
...outside?
...on the bookshelf?
...with the documents?
...or in the drawers?
If you voted the drawers, then you were wrong!
-receives messages into earpiece-
Aha, I'm sorry folks, there seems to be a mistake!
If you voted the drawers, then you deserve to be punched in the face for being so gullible!
The correct answer was outside, I'm afraid.
Hooray.
Rightyo then, see you next time. Hope you enjoyed it
