Official AMV Heaven Video Submission Thread

Hello there. PPNSteve and myself have been planning this project for a few months and now is the time to ask for your video submissions.

In short, AMV Heaven is our version of a certain other AMV project (except we won't be biased against non-familiar members to the community). As long as the video meets the following criteria, we will most likely accept it:

1. 20-40 second clips
   
2. Submit: Anime information, Song Title, Song Artist, Your Credit Name
   
3. We will allow watermarks if they are transparent/not obtrusive
   
4. PG-13 rated or below (some exceptions can be made)
   
5. No explicit sexual activites in videos.
   
6. 640x480 video resolution
   
7. File formats accepted: AVI, WMV, MOV, MPG ~2000kbit minimum with 48Khz stereo audio, no youtube links.
   
8. Suggestions for videos: comedy, action, commercial spoofs, action, special effects. anime parodies, cross-anime redubbing, etc.

Hopefully this will spark the creativity of some users here as we plan to make this at least ten minutes in length. Please respond in this thread if you are interested.

Exactly. That's why we chose that name. We wanted to create something that won't take two years and go through 250 judges to get it cleared. Also, our guidelines are a bit more lenient than theirs.

I don't really think you're going to gather as much interest here as you think. JE isn't exactly super active or anything.

well this isn't the only place we're asking for submissions

Not only that, it gives the opportunity for the people that were rejected by them to get a second chance at getting their videos around.

Besides, before you cry "unoriginality", There are thousands of podcasts out there and no one is complaining to the person that originally created the concept.

Oh come on all you creative types.. bust out your anime collection and create some cool clips for this fun project.
