    • On my first run, Mareep. It wasn't bad at all thanks to Signal Beam.

    Second run was an actual team, though.

    I think my team went something like this in SoulSilver...
    Meganium
    Ninetales
    Kingdra
    Lugia (i know, i know, but pidgeot was just outclassed by this and I needed a psychic type :<)
    Ampharos
    Weavile (i had a friend who traded me a sneasel from platinum. in all honesty though, i think sneasel should've been obtainable in Ice Path, instead of Mt. Silver where you're at the end of the game anyway...)

    If i remember correctly it was:

    -Typhlosion
    -Gyarados
    -Piloswine
    -Ampharos
    -Noctowl
    -Sandslash

    This was the first team i used against the E4.
