    I really want another movie based around mew. We've had 3 films based on mewtwo 4 including the new one and have seen mewtwo change from bad to good and know about his abilities. Although I love mewtwo I like mew alot more and is my faveourite legendary pokemon. I'm just disappointed that he hasn't been included that much. Maybe a film where mew and mewtwo living together as a family showing what happened after the first film. In my opinion forget arceus mew and mewtwo are the most powerful pokemon and that should be shown in a film. Mew and mewtwo vs whoever is a suitable match up.

    Mew hasn't really been that shunned as you may think. Mew has been in two movies (Mewtwo Strikes Back & Lucario & The Mystery of Mew). Mewtwo has been in two movies (Mewtwo Strikes Back & Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens).

    The main thing seems you want these movies because of your personal preference. I am sure there are some pokemon that have been lucky to be featured in one movie. Not to mention the movies like the anime are promotional tools for the new generation so they of course would be predominately be promoting there new legends (most of the time the first movie is version mascots).

    • im sorry to say this but you are both wrong mewtwo has stared in two movies not including Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens. The first one he stared in was mewtwo strikes back in 1998 then 3 years later in 2001 he played in mewtwo returns so that only makes 3 movies and in mewtwo returns they also showed a little tiny bit of mew so right now its kinda even

    • Well I mean... Mew has been prominent in two movies (1 & 8) and I believe on TV special (Mirage Pokémon). Mewtwo has been the driving force in one movie (1) and one TV special (Mewtwo Returns). He's also prominent in M16. So Mewtwo kind of has had more feature-time than Mew. However, I don't think Mew needs more focus. lol I don't think Mewtwo needs any more focus either buuuut anyway.

    Mew and Mewtwo living as family doesn't quite synch with canon, though- in Mewtwo Returns, Mew is nowhere to be seen with Mewtwo and his clone family beyond a small cameo. The next time we see Mew (a Mew?) it's flitting around that giant tree. They don't seem to associate much. I suppose it might be uncomfortable for Mewtwo to associate with his genetic base, considering his continued view that clones- while not so different from originals- are still significantly different.

    But really, two movies and a TV special each? That's more than enough for these two imo.

    Mewtwo did have another TV special featured with Virgil during the dekora Arc. It was used as a preview for its new ability to transform.

    • True, but that was a direct movie prequel at regular episode length rather than nearly feature-length TV broadcast like the others. Like... it's the same story and tied into movie canon rather than main anime canon. So it's really part of the movie rather than its own story.

    i forgot about the tv specials they have appeared in and i guess when you add it all up mew has had a decent amount of viewing time and i just never realised. i think i just want more mew because besides the birds zapdos,moltres and articuno mew is my faveourite legendary pokemon. i think you should be able to catch it in games since your able to catch mewtwo in many different games.
