I don't think it was the levels being too high, I just think it was because the forest was so long. Rather than reducing levels, you could always increase levels for later trainers and gym leaders, just to make it more challenging.

Also, I would love if you could get a Nidorina in Nidopoint forest just like you could the Nidorino.

And there weren't too many bugs, just the reduced sight glitch and the few passable tiles (plus that weird potion incident I had O.o')

Lastly, it kinda bugged me that a lot of the move animations were the same. Almost every move I saw used the Tackle animation, sometimes with a little bit added.

As far as the animations, I didn't make very many. Mainly... Ember, Water Gun, Razor Leaf, Leaf Twirl , Thunder, Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Karate Chop, Absorb, Gust, Low Kick, Smokescreen, Confuse Ray, and i think that's it...
I plan on making more for the next demo, sorry!

Man i Opened Rapid Download Web Page in the morning when i saw Demo was out, waited for 5 minutes, and then i forgot all about it after some time! Finally i download at night *phew* I love the Game.

The Forest was the hard thingy i caught the nidorina in the event.
It was easy to level up my pokemon since they were hard trainers. ( I hate boring leveled down trainers)

Cool, i love the tiles (they really match) i like the recolour of the fire-red's footpath.
But there is free space in-between :\ try adding a little more npc's or sumthing
BTW can we continue with previous saved file???
I cant wait for Next demo.

Man I'm totally loving your new updates. The next beta looks like it's gonna be awesome. Those battle BG's are really cool, I love the style you're going with on them. The cave looks really interesting, and the screens look super. However, I would recommend going with some new water, I always thought those sea tiles by Alistair looked a little too flat.

At any rate, loving the general style dude, keep it going.

he meant that if u have finished the 1st demo then you can continue with 2nd demo

Well I'm usually up for crit being honest, but I'll drop in with some recommendations, but you don't have to take my advice here.

For this screen I would recommend changing a few things. The cobble stones under the benches look a little out the style of the game, I like the idea, however I think that the tile choice could have been better, though I'm aware that it can be hard to find the right tiles for things like this. Also I think those barrels could be edited a bit to actually meet the style too. If you look at them, they are sprited a little differently to most of your other tiles and could probably do with some re-shading. Also on the little park area, I'm not a fan of the flowers. They just look like edited FRLG ones, but not fantastic edits. I recommend getting some new ones there.

By large your mapping is pretty good, though I'm concerned about playability, and I was in the demo also. In the bottom left screen, as you north east, there's verrrrry little space to walk in, I think that the player will start bumping into things everywhere, which can get quite aggravating. So you could possibly just remove some of the rocks around that area.

But watch out for your tile choices in a lot of places, they tend to look a little flat, especially water. And as far as I remember Alistair didn't animate his. I have some autotiles which I used to use for my game which very well might fit the style of your game, if you wish to use them, just send me a VM, they're animated and do look quite well and I think they should suit it a bit more. But if you're sticking with something else that's no bother.

@Abnegation: Thank you for the crit! I replaced the barrels with crates, (ill upload screens eventually) and took some out. I took out the cobblestones, but left the flowers. (there alistairs, which I'm pretty sure are scratch haha)
I'll go through and edit the cave so it's less frustrating to navigate haha.
And i would love your water haha. and any other tiles you won't need or want or care ofr me to have haha. Thanks for the crit :)

@SMA_H: Rock Smash will actually be a good attack in this game. With a power of 85 instead of 40 :)

I love the new battle backgrounds and the overall style of the game. The battle backgrounds are quite original considering that it's not pixel art and it's not like the normal style of the games with the platforms and all.

Just a note that the floor on the bottom left screenshot looks quite messy with all of the bones, rocks and the crater-like holes everywhere.

@Logiedan: I made it less cluttered, and the animations are buggy. I have no clue how to fix it either. Basically, when an enemy uses an attack, the animation is showin as if though the enemy is basically on the opposite side of your pokemon if that makes sense lol.

Hmm... Not sure how flexable the system is,
but once you get a HM you could make one where you have to give someone a pokemon that has learned the HM.
