Combined Pokemon Solo Challenge Thread

I started with Firered(Pictured) I intend to work my way up from lowest gen
to highest. Kanto, I picked a squirtle that will make a nice HM slave or
something, and went off on my journey. ....and by journey, I mean spending 10
minutes finding the right code to find a shroomish in the grass. I found it at
last, and I was faced with two problems. One, I forgot the limits of the code, I
won't be able to get a level 5 like I wanted to. Two, why did I have to pick
squirtle? The weaker pokemon nearly totaled the future HM slave, but I caught
it. Barely (Pictured). With that out of the way, I trained it up to be on par
with other pokemon. Next problem. Most pokemon were either flying types or
weedle with poison sting, continue the level up....at last I was high enough to
handle these horrors, and from there I was able to plow down everything in my
path, all the way to misty. I forgot to screenshot these sadly, at the moment
I'm sitting with a 25 shroomish, and an HM slave, and I won't be evolving
shroomish until it learns poisonpower at level 28, if at all.

EDIT: Forgot spoilers, sorry gang!

Hate to break it to you, but a pokemon wont evolve unless its evolution is in the regional dex

that only applies in firered i think. because Belle the blastoise evolved in emerald and it isnt in the regional dex

time to start emerald going to get to Norman and fight him before i split this into two parts

In the above Beast and I meet our rival, Dumhead, for the second time in the history of the game. I swiftly beat him and go on to sweep the nugget bridge and following route. Then I meet Bill and help the little jerk out, and then beat Misty, because I'm a beast. (Check the vid)

Final Update for USC #2!

Final Update (#5) on Black.

Well, I finally got around to finishing this, it's been a month since I last posted here!
The postgame went very fast with just one Pokemon, and with the help of Rare Candies, I was at L99.
Took on Morimoto and Cynthia, growing to L100 in the process!
Now it's time to finish this up. Elite Four Round 2, here we come.
Marshall was easy with Psychic, Shauntal was easy as well, even with a burn. Psychic was too strong.
Now the real test was starting. Caitlin took several tries before I finally broke through.
Grimsley was too strong for Palin. I battled him over and over until I finally got the crit Earthquake OHKO on Bisharp!
Now it was down to Alder, the Champion. Thanks to Palin's Silk Scarf and a lot of luck, I pulled it off! Excavalier was scary too...

After Beast humiliated Misty, we trecked south to reach the S.S. Anne. We went aboard and found our rival, Dumhead, waiting like a fool. We sweeped his Pokémon and went to give some perv a massage to receive HM CUT. I caught a Diglett and taught it cut and went over to the gym. Then I sweeped the gym.

Heart Gold

Episode 6

Chose Totodile as my starter. He's gonna be used as an HM Slave.
Caught Perry the Psyduck and went on to Violet City. I had some trouble with the Sprout Tower. Those annoying Bellsprout's kept using Vine Whip, but with some Potions I managed to get through it.
Defeated Falkner.
Easily managed to travel through Route 32 and the Union Cave.
The real trouble began after I defeated Team Rocket in the Slowpoke Well. I just couldn't seem to beat Bugsy. After about thirty tries I finally succeeded. (It is the main reason why I didn't manage to update 'till now)

my power went out and i lost my emerald save file do you want me to start over and just continue the post where i left off or im fine with just ending it the rest of the regions take FOREVER to do D: or it could just be the emulators are a lot slower with the newer regions in crystal my emulator was running at 1000speed which was awesome it went so quick emerald was only going at 200 even with the speed button pushed the entire time

I have decided to chose a bagon as its my favourite pokemon. i am using a randomizer so all the pokemon in the wild are random and have got me a blaziken as a hm slave. so far my bagon is a lvl 11 and i have met my dad in the petalburg gym

Finally beat Ruby with Farfetch'd. It was probably the hardest game so far, especially with Roxanne (with very bulky rock types), and Wattson (with a magnemite and magneton who quad resist my main attacking moves peck and steel wing) as early gym leaders and with Steven as the champion (with 2 steel types, 2 rock types, and a steel/rock type). But ranting aside, now it's time for me to beat Diamond.

EDIT: Apparently I forgot to post the picture of me beating red in Crystal, so here it is

Sounds like fun. I'm gonna do an ulitimate solo run with Quagsire.

Quagsire Ultimate Solo Run Update #1

So far so good with the Quagsire Ultimate Solo Run. Only had about 45ish minutes to play due to homework and such so here is what I was able to do in that short span of time.

-Started the game with the name xKingGx; Rivals name is Failure
-Chose Bulbasaur as our starter pokemon (Quagsire will easily be able to beat Charizard) and named him Slave
-After receiving pokeballs and pokedex, caught a level 3 wooper named Quagmire(family guy refrences) and trained him to level 11
-Caught a Pidgey and named it Fly(seeing as how we will need it later)
-Defeated Failure with no trouble
-Defeated Brock with no trouble
-Went to Mt.Moon where Quagmire reached level 20 and... didn't evolve?
-Realized we needed national dex unlocked and felt like an idiot(all in all though we got Amnesia 2 levels early)

That's about it for what happened during my first short section of playing. Still in Mt.Moon for the time being. Hopefully will be able to play later to night and update tomorrow.

Houndoom Ultimate Solo Run(Fire Red) Update1:
-I took squirtle (HM slave)
-Hacked In a Houndour
-Trained a bit beat "Gary"/Red/Blue or whatever
-Went to 1st gym it was touuugh :P, trained my Houndour up to 18, beat Brock with a lucky burn
-On the way to 2nd gym badge after beating Gary went up to meet Billy(such a nice guy :P)
-My Houndour got 24LvL (forgot I can't evolve it xD) so i hacked in a Houndoom
-Trained a bit more beat 2nd Gym with Bite
-Beat Trainers in SS.Anne,Gary took cut
-Beat 3rd gym leader
-I got into the cave to Lavender without flash cause i was too bored to catch 10differend kinds to get it
-Beat gary for the 4th Time
-Took my 4th gym badge easily
-Into the "casino" :P Beat Giovanni

Quagsire Ultimate Solo Run Update #2

Was able to play a bit more tonight and was able to accomplish a good amount of things

-Defeated 2nd Gym
-Meet Bill and got S.S Anne ticket
-Defeated Failure(again) and got cut
-Defeated 3rd Gym
-Went through Rock Tunnel with Flash (I know i'm so special)
-Went through Pokemon Tower up to point where you need Silph Scope(Also defeated Failure but that really isn't very important anymore)
-Spent all of our money on Ice Beam at Game Corner(Or else 4th Gym would have sucked)
-Defeated 4th Gym
