Need help dealing with a common problem

    I have assembled a team and although it can often work well, I always seem to have a problem with rotom-w in online play. I tried Energy Ball but it does not seem like enough. Any good ideas to eliminate similar foes easily?

    Since it's a sand team, you could easily put Gastrodon on your team. Rotom-W can't really do anything to it, unless it tricks it, but otherwise both its STABs are useless, since it absorbs h-pump and can't be hit by v-switch, etc. So you could replace Jellicent with this as the special wall:

    Sassy / Calm
    252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
    Storm Drain
    - Earthquake / Earth Power
    - Ice Beam / Scald
    - Toxic
    - Recover

    • Your best bet is probably to use Gastro like forever said. If you dont like gastro some other good pokemon to use are Ferrothorn and Celebi.

    Ferrothorn can take any hit and set up enrty hazzards ot hit with a powerful powerwhip. Although you should be wary that some Rotom carry HP fire and Ferro hates being tricked or burned.

    Celebi can take any hit from rotom well except HP fire which is only a 2 hit KO with specs. The reason I suggested nasty plot set is that it wont mind recieving a choice scarf or specs from rotom. Celebi also has the added bonus of having natural cure and is a special attacker which means it wont mind being burned.
