So all I did so far was beat the tutorial and walk around a little bit, and it's already extremely annoying, no charge shot from the beginning so everything takes forever to kill D:<

With Battle netWork we have to use some things other than the mega buster for the tutorial. Also can we use the megabuster card or only the b button busterfor battle network!?

You don't have to use the chips they talk about in Battle Network, you just have to select them. After wards you can just hang onto them and constant spam buster shots until those pesky Meteurs are deleted > 3<

Also I was wondering if things like healing items and chips are allowed. (What about barriers and the like?)

Hm, I've never beaten any of the Megaman games before. Should be fun.

Healing items and chips are allowed; again, your main attack will be the megabuster. n-n
Anywho, I'll update everyone shortly!

So, any chips are good as long as they don't cause damage?

Yes, I thiiink I mentioned that before, but if not, then, to be clear, yes, in BN games, you're allowed to use support chips as long as they don't cause direct damage to the enemy~

Game - Megaman 6 (Look at my name... It's pretty much required that I sign up for this one) and Megaman Battle Network 3 Blue

...Now just to decide what style to use. Guts would be the best for this challenge, but Shield would be very useful too. Shadow would just be fun as hell to play, and its charged invis would be very helpful.

Ooh. This looks fun! I've always wanted to try a buster-only playthrough, haha.

Megaman X4 [COMPLETED]

Spoiler:

Well, that was a fun game! Absolutely love the music in these games. This was the first time I've ever done a buster-only playthrough, and it was pretty darn interesting, but also really, really painful...! It started off great, and then it all went down-hill after the first boss.

I honestly had the most trouble with the Split Mushroom, mainly because of how erratic his pattern was, but I managed to pull through, until the last stage, that is-- where I had to fight him again. (Ugh!) The other bosses weren't too difficult, though, because their patterns were pretty simple. The Colonel was just silly, haha-- Jump, hover, drop, shoot. Rinse and repeat! (I did get hit a lot, though... :< )

At the end, I had to use Magma Dragoon's weapon to damage Sigma's first form. It was the only way you could damage him! Switched back to the normal X-Buster afterwards, though, so it was all good... except for the part where I spent almost an hour trying to beat that boss battle.

I wish I could've gotten all the armour pieces, but I'd have to use other weapons for that, haha. Still, it was fun, and it was pretty interesting to find different ways to take down bosses, other than fight them head-on using their weaknesses, haha.

Megaman X5 [COMPLETED]
Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Two hours! It still felt like forever, playing this game, haha. Aside from X6, X5 is probably my next favorite of the X series. X4 will always have the best music, though!

Anyway, I started off wasting several in-game hours until the clock reached 9 hours. Why? Because I wanted to get the parts, of course! Then, I finally started off with Grizzly Slash. Boy, that boss' AI is worse than the Colonel's from X4! To be honest, most of the bosses in X5 were easier than that of X4. Then there's Dynamo, who's... just there.

But, I did have trouble with a few of them, still! Duff McWhalen was a pain to fight, especially with that wall of spikes. So much frustration from that one boss fight! Then, there was the Shadow Devil. Ugh... That boss is just torture, especially with that music! I nearly threw my controller in rage because of it. I hope I'm not the only one who despises that thing. :(

Then, I went ahead to get the Ultimate Armor, but not before going through the stage before that with unarmored X because I was a dummy and forgot which stage you'd get the armor in. I went on to beat Zero after that. He's actually not much of a challenge when you've figured out his attack pattern! Unfortunately for me, I just couldn't figure it out, but I beat him anyway.

Boss rush, blah blah-- Then it was Sigma. Finally, the big guy! I didn't quite find him as difficult as I did with X4's Sigma, but he still gave me trouble. Used up both E-Tanks and was about to die, too during his second form. I still pulled through, and now it's time for X6...!

Megaman X6 [COMPLETED]
Spoiler:

Images
Spoiler:

MMX6 is probably my favorite game of the X series, mainly because of nostalgia, but gosh-- Its level design is easily the most painful thing about this game, haha. I've had more trouble with the levels themselves rather than the bosses! Blaze Heatnix's stage will haunt me forever...! Still, not much to say about this game. Played it a bunch of times recently, even before the challenge.

I had to break the rules to beat High Max, though. You can't damage the guy with the normal buster! You can only stun him and attack him with a special weapon to do damage. Other than that, everything else was dealt with using the Mega Buster~

BN3 is proving harder then I expected. Flashman was easy, no trouble at all. Beastman was annoying, but easy to take out once I got his pattern down. Bubbleman was annoying until I got his pattern, Metalman and Gutsman were easy, Kingman... Biggest pain in the ass ever, but thankfully I got Anubis on my first draw, and Desertman was very easy.

VBA movies - Just get a copy of the rom, load with VBA-M (I'm usng 1149, although newer versions should work), and under tools select play a movie. (Will update them when my connection starts working right)

Order
Flashman - Gutsman (Losing this battle doesn't result in a game over, so it's not needed to beat the game.) - Beastman - Bubbleman (2nd try) - Metalman N1 - Gutsman N1 - Kingman N1 - Desertman

Edit - Didn't complete BN3. Started and finished MM6 a couple days ago on my ds, took pics with another ds, when the power went out. Pics are low quality.

I am having a hard time with MZ2. The bosses are a mother to deal with. Especially with the fist.

I only got to the first boss. The old 3DS kept dying and i had to keep retrying. This challenge is hard on Megaman Zero 2 because his sword is WAY better than the buster shot/charge shot. It was fun trying though! :D
