I go off of what I see in the completed listings on eBay, where prices can get a bit silly at times and be significantly more affected by the Pokemon on the card rather than the card's rarity (Vileplume never sold for more than $3 in recent auctions despite being a holo, while the Blastoise sold for higher probably because it was Blastoise even though it wasn't a holo).

Hello I have an interesting card.

Pocket Monsters Japanese Diglett No.050 Level 15 Mint Condition
    However this card is Holographic

Looks like the common japanese version except has holographic reflecting squares.
    link: i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODc5WDYxNQ==/z/smUAAOSwPe1T1VdM/$_57.JPG

But the Holo print is misprinted on the card, it has a sort of double vision as if the card was printed twice with the second print being slightly off and holographic. It is a common card but the Dot has a slightly smaller dot to the left of it.

There is no record of this card supposed to be in existence so I'm wondering if its a special rare misprint.

Does anybody know how valuable this card could be? I'm fairly sure that it is one of a kind due to a possible factory misprint. If necessary I can link a picture of the card.

Japanese Base Set Charizard: $15 to $25.

Japanese Intro Pack Bulbasaur Deck Venusaur: $10 to $15.

Japanese M Charizard X EX: All over the place, but most frequently seems to fall between the $10 and $20 range currently.

Korean M Charizard X EX: Basing it off of the Japanese one, probably $5 to $15.

    Is Machamp Shadowless?

Dark Blastoise (rare): $1 to $3.
Dark Vileplume (holo): $1 to $3.

Is Magnezone EX full art or regular holo?

Japanese Charizard G Lv. X (from the Garchomp vs. Charizard SP Charizard Half Deck): In that condition, $2 to $4. If it were mint, $5 to $10.

Could you post up a picture of it (as The_Iron_Bat asked) as an attachment to your next post in this thread? I'm fairly certain Jungle cards didn't get the shadowless treatment in any run.

Please do not pass those off as real. Those are so fake they reek like only fakes and knockoffs can. The purpose of this thread is to help people figure out what their cards are worth. Any future similar posts like that in this thread will be deleted on sight.

Those cards he posted are not real...

Gold borders don't sound normal (only been one official card so far that has an actual gold border - a promo Meowth from very early in the TCG's life). Would you mind posting up a picture of it as an attachment to your next post?

This is the link to the gold border Drapion https://www.dropbox.com/s/4m5bozkwmcfylc3/photo.JPG

  • I'm not the biggest TCG expert, but at quick glance, that card appears to be a fake (the C in Poison claws should be capitalized, there should be an accent above the e in Ogre Scorp Pokemon, the number fonts of the attack damage aren't correct, among a few other things).

Such as the energy symbols used for the attack as well as for the retreat cost being the wrong symbols. They lack 3D depth.

Picture, please. I think it sounds like a fake, but I want to confirm with a picture.

Here are some pics, I can't post links so copy paste into your browser.

I hope this card isn't fake, I had collected my cards when I was a young kid and held on to them thinking they would have value. Just recently going through them all to see if I had anything worthwhile by the trading standards that define what is valuable and this card was tucked away in my binder of cards. The only one that I think has value.

I really dislike that Photobucket still requires http:// before all direct links to images on their site. I was getting a "user has removed this photo" message without it.

Anyway, hate to break it to you, but that's a fake, without question. Double printed and the holo pattern on it has never been used on a card ever.

I thought the double print was the result of the misprint which also led the card to having a holo effect applied to it. Is there anything else to indicate its fake?

Wondering how much an ungraded 1st Edition Dragonair would be described as in mint to gem mint condition.

    Thanks
