How will R8 compare?

i'm not disappointed in rihanna right now but i'm not necessarily impressed

fourfiveseconds, bitch betta have my money, and american oxygen have all done pretty mediocre (fourfiveseconds marginally better than the latter two) so what do you think this means for the album? can't judge much pre-release, but given her meager promotion... idk how i'm feeling

I like Rihanna but I can't stand any of her songs from the R8 era. In my opinion the quality of her songs have been declining since Loud.
