Screen resolutions!

So what's the screen resolution on the devices you guys use, whether it'd be a smartphone, desktop, laptop, tablet, etc? Are you satisfied with said resolution(s)? What would your ideal resolution be for any device?

My laptop has a 1366 x 768 resolution and I like it. I had a notebook before so it's a huge increase in size but it's not too big, not too small. It is my ideal size.

1920x1080 at home
Dual 1080 monitors at work.. so uh 3840x1080 ?

Love the dual monitor set up at work. Wish I had the desk space at home for two or three monitors.

I absolutely loathe widescreen aspect ratios. I like 1400x1050 most from what I've tried, but since I no longer have a working CRT and extremely few if any LCDs are made with that as their native resolution (finding a good 4:3 monitor of any kind nowadays was hard enough), I've switched to 1600x1200. Everything's just a bit small but I'm used to it now. I'd like to try 2000x1500 in games but I doubt monitors built for such a resolution exist.

If I had a tablet I'd like it to be a square thing displaying at something like 1080x1080 but that'll never be made.

My laptop has a 1366 x 768 resolution. I did have an external 1440 x 900 monitor from around 2007, but it recently died. I got it for only 25 dollars @ a pawn shop several years ago. The deal was too good to pass up - I found it really handy for my online classes.

Laptop: 1920x1080
I just can't go back to 768 ;-;
Phone: 720 can do, besides, better battery life

I seriously don't understand the purpose of higher and higher resolutions on phones.

I don't like how phones have 720p and 1080p when they just waste processer power and battery. 960x540 is fine enough for my phone's 4.7 inch screen. The turbulence of the mobile phone industry is bizarre.

Jumping in with another 1366 x 768 laptop here. Before that I had a monstrous 1440x900 that weighted about 8kg. Yowch. And before that, I had an ancient XP comp with the classic 1024x768 ratio. I love using higher aspect ratios, but they gotta be desktop monitors.

My laptop is 1366 x 768.

Used to have a 1920x1080 Laptop but all good things die young.

My laptop has around 2732x768, because I've been working on dual screen monitors for long.

Laptop? 1920x1080. Phone? Also 1920x1080. My tablet is only 1366x768, though, but then again, it does have at least 768 pixels of vertical height, so...

(I don't like Windows laptops that have a resolution exceeding 1920x1080. Things start to get unusable without DPI scaling, and we all know how bad some third-party apps behave - it's like the only things that work well on the Windows desktop are Microsoft stuff and games.)

Each of those resolutions is ideal for me. :)

I'm on 1680 x 1050, as is the default for my MacBook Pro. It was a huge change after my previous laptop that was around 1024 x 768 and I'm more than satisfied. [:

My main current and one of my other laptops are both 1600 x 900.
I have another laptop a bit larger, a Mac OSX and desktop, but I don't know what they are from the top of my head. 960 x 640 for my iPhone 4S.

I'm pretty satisfied with all my stuff.

I'm pretty happy with this resolution. I wouldn't mind if it were a bit higher, though.

1366 x 768 for current laptop, while desktop is 1024 x 768 but it's actually my old TV that's being used as a monitor. It's an old flat-screen TV from 2008 and the resolution won't go any higher, unfortunately, so I'm gonna buy a brand new monitor soon to replace that.

1366 x 768 just like the person above me. My laptop is a load of doodoo for everything I want to do like PC gaming and such. I really need to get a new one...

1366x768. I do have a spare monitor lying about of 1440x900 lying about, but I didn't realise until I got my laptop that it only has a VGA port.
Photo editing and web development are so much harder at this resolution. On the plus side, this laptop does everything that I want it do (as opposed to my old computer which provided an...interesting experience even booting up) and a bit more.

My phone has a 720p screen, which is lovely. The images are so sharp at this density. Seriously, high dpi displays are good for the soul.

Jumping on the 1366x768 bandwagon as well. I'm not such a big fan of it, considering my PC was 1280x1024, so I'm really missing that fair amount of vertical space I used to have. Most of the laptops I was looking at when I got mine maxed out at 1366x768 though, and I didn't really feel like shelling out the extra money for a bigger screen. At least I can plug it into the TV and get 1920x1080 if I'm ever watching movies or TV on it.
