  • Guys. What is this? Why only two?
    Probably because there were issues with the pacing and some other issues where its focus on Shirou's character struggle was so strong it just ended up shafting Saber for the most part in second cour. I personally feel like the first cour, initial 12 episodes, were very entertaining and mostly well done. It was in the second half that the increased focus on Shirou's conflict bought out some of the uglier sides of the series - for one, the pacing was pretty bad for a few episodes. And it completely got rid of Saber for the most part till just the very end (Saber is pretty popular among the fans). Also, fight choreography didn't "WOW" me anymore. And it wasn't just a case of me getting used to the visuals of the series either - it was more of the series' fight choreography not being as creative and imaginative as before in the first half. The only episode I absolutely loved to bits in the second half was the very last episode. If not for that episode, I would've slapped a 6/10 overall to the series since the second half wasn't keeping me interested for the most part. But the last episode was so good I couldn't have given it any less than a 7/10 and a "good anime" rank on my list.

    Still, a 7 doesn't make it come anywhere near 10s (oregairu) and 9s (Shokugeki no Soma) in my list at all. And I'd imagine things being similar for other people so I guess that's what it probably is.

    HOUKAGO NO PLEIADES (magical girls ftw)
    Dungeon ni Deai
    Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
    Mikagura Gakuen Kimikyoku
    Yamada probably would've been in my list too if I had finished the damn thing. Watched only 6 episodes before I got sidetracked, unfortunately. Read the manga though and it was fantastic till 100+ chapters. But yeah. Definitely would've gotten my vote if I had bothered to watch it all lol. It was very enjoyable. And I'm slightly surprised it didn't get any more votes.

  • Uhhh.... The only Spring show I managed to watch the entirety of was Hibike! Euphonium... So I'll put my vote in for that. It had the high school music course nostalgia, likable characters, relatable moments, the strongest yuri-baiting, and a nice OST. I'd totally watch another season if there were one.

  • Hope i'm not too late >.< Timezones always tripping me.

    Voting my top 3 as the following:
    Shokugeki no Soma
    Kekkai sensen
    DanMachi

    Too bad Ansatsu Kyoushitsu and Kuroko no Basket 3 are previous seasons unfortunately otherwise there would have been a top 5 :p Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo was pretty good, but think I didn't enjoy it as much as I could after watching the live action and for some reason actually enjoyed Owari no Seraph although not good enough to get up there with the rest.

  • Because Food Porn was being watched by more people, that is all. Had OregaIru been a show that was being followed by the people who voted, they'd probably have voted for it. Sadly, being a sequel required them to watch the first season before getting into this season which probably turned off some people from the show as well.

    Still, second place, for a sequel, isn't bad at all. I'm glad about the results. My personal ranking of the four shows would be: Oregairu Zoku > Shokugeki > Kekkai Sensen (where art thou, tho, last episoddo!?) >> Danmachi. But they're all very enjoyable shows and deserve their ranks. <3;

  • While I don't quite consider that true, I still have to say I found the analogy very amusing for what it was XD;

    We should do this every season. I thought this was fun. Would've been even more fun if we had more people voting. Hopefully we'll have moar regulars soon :3

  • My plan is to do it every season :), even if I forget someone will surely remember. Also next time we can do more planning and ask Chikara-sama to pin it or something :3

  • Yeah I thought about pinning this originally, but then I got busy and forgot SORRY ;o;

    Just ping me whenever you're planning on starting this again(or anything else you want pinned). I'll more than likely say yes, the worst I'll say is no -w-b
