3rd Gen Pokemon Emerald Bug? (Emulator)

So I was playing around with Emerald (and also used the Randomizer thing) and fast forwarded through the Mauvile City gym battles and then this happened.
I tried resetting the game and tinkering around with the settings but it still was there.
I can't find any solutions for this.

Since this doesn't seem to be an official game problem, your best bet would be asking over in the Patching & Emulation Help Thread in our ROM Hacking Hub. They know a lot more about these problems than I do, so hopefully they'd be able to point you in the right direction to fixing this!
