The Nintendo AVS thing seems kind of cool actually. It was probably abandoned because it would be too expensive in retail. I think the NES was so popular was because it was so affordable....before the Wii it was the best selling console of all time. So yeah.

As for the knitting thing...that is just ridiculous...

I do wonder how the kitting thinger communicated with the NES. Maybe through the expansion port on the bottom? 'Course I was under the impression that it wasn't even fully wired up. >_>

I would totally have that machine to make my Nintendo cosplays with, sweetie.

Seriously though, "Now you're knitting with power" needs to be Nintendo's current slogan.
