The Ultimate Monotype Challenge

Since I've already Solo-run Sinnoh with almost all of the Burmy evos, I guess taking on a challenge like this should keep me sharp! Since I've never really used any of the water starters (Piplup's the only one I've used, come to think of it), I guess this is the best choice.

Level grinded everybody up to Lv 40
took on the Elite 4

1 - Will was, by far, the most annoying. 3 words : STOP SPAMMING PSYCHIC
It took me forever to take his Jynx down.

2 - Koga was the second most annoying. Quagsire was doing fine when, all of a sudden... you know it's comming... EXPLOSION! *faint*... RAGE!

3 - Bruno was almost single-handedly defeated by Tentacruel thanks to Barrier / Rain Dance / Surf

4 - Karen was victim of hax :P . Dynamic punch hit on the first try, Vileplume suffered a Critical Ice Punch, Gengar flinched to Bites (once paralyzed). Houndoom was the only one who posed a threat taking down Quagsire because Crunch lowered his SpD and dark is still special... -.-'

Lance - He was sorta tricky... (teach Hyper Beam to ALL the pokémon!) Ice Punch 2HKO all the dragonites, Spark OHKOed Gyarados. Charizard and Aerodactyl were taken down by Tentacruel using Barrier (to soften HB blows) and Rain Dance and Surf did the job.

-Made my way through a little cave, got a fossil.
-Defeated MISTY, walked out with my second badge.
-Destroyed GREEN.
-Went through Nugget Bridge, the game wouldnt let me join Team Rocket...
-Did Bill a favor.
-Took a trip on the S.S. Anne!
-Beat GREEN again. Got CUT!
-Caught an ODDISH! :D (None of my normal guys can learn cut... Come'on Raticate!)
-Leveled up Raticate a bit, I know surge is going to have a field day with my birds...
-Defeated everyone with my Rat... Disapointing.
-Alright, going through Rock Tunnel by memory! Of course no flash. ;P
-And I was careless... Take 2!
-Finaly made it through, only to almost get KO'd by the Hikers outside the cave...

-Captured myself a better servant than Rocky, which is prone to disobedience. Named him Rocky II in honor of Rocky, and also because I don't have a name yet for him.
-Grinded Rocky II and Totodile and returned to eliminate the trainers that I've left behind.

-Destroyed their base of operations and faced Admin Proton.
-Cruel? Who is more cruel than us?
-Basically Rocky II kicked the hell out of his Pokemon.
-Forced Kurt to create Pokeballs for me.
-Destroyed the Azalea Gym without mercy with multiple Rock Tombs.
-Hive Badge obtained!
-Saw Blitz and challenged him into a battle.
-Man, Bayleef was hard. Needed to swap Rocky II for Croconaw just to heal him.
-Croconaw died and Rocky II, invigorated, buried Bayleef with Rock Tombs.
-Bye bye, Blitz! :p
-Withdrew Togepi again for Headbutt.

Hi, Just a quick heads up.
It seems you're using your Croconaw in battle as cannon fodder. You are supposed to use ONLY the Steel (to be) pokemon on your team, in battle. It's supposed to be a challenge ;)

Post #3 : Team Rocket Takeover, Celadon Edition!

-Went into Celadon, headed straight for the gym.
-Used Fearow throughout most of the gym to level up, finished up with Pidgeotto.
-Went to the Game Corner, got distracted by the though of Porygon. To the poster!
-Trying to clear up my bag, realized Raticate can learn Thunderbolt!
-Goodbye Giovanni. Oh, you dropped a Silph Scope!
-Hey, I aquired an Eevee!
-After going through TMs, Raticate knows Hyper Fang, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and Dig.
-Gave the gaurds my water!
-Now its time to slay ghost with my normal types!
-Oh right, Green was there. Not anymore.
-Calmed the Marowak. :')
-Rescued Mr. Fuji from the Rockets. Got a nice flute for a nice normal Pokemon.
-Caught Snorlax! Back to Silph!
-Found Green after a little difficulty, beat him.
-Sorry Lapras, Im not getting you.
-Beat Giovanni again, rewarded with a master ball.
-Beat the "Gym", but I did not take a prize.
-Time to navigate through Sabrina's!
-Beat her pretty easily actually... There's another badge.
-Fogot to get a bike... There's a glitch for that!
-I think Ill try to get a Tauros?
-Caught a Kangaskhan instead. Fair enough. Along with teeth and an HM.

EDIT: So I got bored of grinding, next episode!

-Bought some revives and full restores.
-Defeated Lorelei, reviving Raticate afterwards.
-Defeated Bruno, reviving Snorlax afterwards.
-Defeated Agatha, no fainting.
-Defeated Lance. Healed Fearow mid battle, lost raticate. Revive them all!
-Defeated Green. Revived Fearow and healed him at least twice.

Hey guys, I'm back with another update. Sorry it's taken so long, grinding was ALOT harder than I thought it would be.

(Final) Update 3!

OK, I think I posted an update 2.5 before the other thread was locked, but for everyone's sake, I'll start from right after I beat N and Ghetsis.

So, the first thing I did (obviously) was catch my last two teammates - Poliwrath and Breloom! Went right to Driftveil City to catch a Poliwag on Route 6. Surprisingly, I managed to catch a Poliwhirl! It was female, so I went random and named it Aquamarine. Then, after DAYS of SRing (soft resetting if you didn't know) the game, I got a swarm Shroomish on Route 11. It was also female, and I named it Crys (short for Chrysanthemum, the flower) (I know, I spelled it wrong.), not at all related to my LG Poliwrath, Chris. Sadly, I forgot to get Spore on Crys before she evolved. :( Tough luck. Anyway, then the grinding process began (my pokes were only around the low to mid- 50s.). From 50 to 60, I fought Audinos purely. From 60 to 70, I used a mixture of the Nimbasa stadium and court, the trainers in the post-game, and the dark grass pokes under Village Bridge. I had to cut Gale's (my Mienshao's) training short at 68 because it was going way too slowly. Anyway, I then went on to face Morimoto, then Cynthia. Here are the play-by-plays.
