    Found that on the internet.
Does anyone have a holo sheet with no black BG (just for the picture?) That'd be great as I can only use paint.

  • Most of these people use either PowerPoint, Photoshop, or GIMP, which all have a good range of image editing capabilities. I do believe there's a tutorial on how to make one in PowerPoint in the Tutorials sticky thread in this section. Also, Magic Set Editor is intended strictly for Magic: The Gathering cards.

In spite of the name, Magic Set Editor isn't strictly intended for Magic cards. If it was, it wouldn't be "open source" with templates for Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, World of Warcraft, and Vs. System, among many other games, as well.

  • Hi there, I would like to introduce you to the new Blanks site I'm running.

It's updated album of the blanks site you know at http://xipog.110mb.com.

The adress is the same however I changed serwer, so the blanks are directly at: http://album.xipog.pisz.pl/index.php?twg_album=BLANKS

Or if you want, type http://album.xipog.pisz.pl and then search for folder named BLANKS.

Also if you have your own blanks, or you find blanks that aren't in the database, please send feedback at [email protected]

Hope this blanks album will be useful!

  • Here's a new "expanded" foil sheet I made for anyone interested in it. I mainly made it for jumbo cards, but it can be used for normal-size cards as well.

Hi there! I updated blanks gallery (and all gallery)!
You can find blanks at: http://album.xipog.pisz.pl/blanks/

    Please share the link! :)

Do you have a .zip or .rar of the blanks / symbols? Downloading a few thousand images individually could take a while... ;P

Also, anyone have the blanks from http://www.sugarshock.net/zeo/ ? The website that hosted them is down, and has been for a long time... I don't see it comming back up anytime in the near future. :[

  • Well, I haven't been here in ages. Sure has died down a lot. :(

Rather than posting a huge list of resources, I'll just direct you to a group on deviantART that has pretty much every resource that I (Karite-Kita-Neko) have made, including a vast amount of resources made by others as well.

    http://pokemoncardresources.deviantart.com/

Here you can find all sorts of blanks (both official and custom), icons & symbols, holosheets, placement guides, and tools to make your very own blanks.

It really has. It's kind of hard to lead the way on this when I don't have the patience for Photoshop. The best I can consistently churn out for fake cards is text-based fakes, but if I don't have inspiration, I can't churn anything out for one of those, either.

Why not download placement guides for Photoshop? Those eliminate a lot of steps, though there is still a bit of fine-tuning involved depending on how many attacks the card has or how long the effects are. I don't use them myself, but it sure would save a lot of time if I did. I finally have Photoshop, but I still usually make my fakes in GIMP.

It's definitely hard to fake without inspiration (even more-so for me, since I don't like making fakes unless I illustrate them... I find myself drawing less and less nowadays). I've been making more resources lately than fakes, mostly holosheets. I did make a fake just a couple days ago to test out an ACE SPEC blank that I ripped. Maybe I'll update my gallery soon or make a new one.

Also, it may attract more users if the title of this sub-forum was titled "Original/Custom Cards" or "Artistic Fake Cards." It's probably overlooked by many who assume that this is for counterfeit card discussion.
