Calamity heard Ignitus laugh as he went in for his attack. Laugh! The very fact that she had the audacity to do so made the Absol's blood boil. Ignitus charged forward to meet Calamity's attack. It appeared that the two would momentarily clash, but the quick Sentinel rolled to the side, and knocked at Calamity's feet, causing him to lose his balance and trip. As he slid over to the side, he tried to quickly get up again and regain his composure. he heard Ignitus scream at Rey.

"Rey! Obviously we did not kill you well enough the first time! It's time to remedy that! Prepare to die you dirty blooded filth!" The anger in her voice was very prevalent. Calamity wondered where it came from. All Sentinels were once Gold Tribe members. Why did they become like this? What made them so...heartless? As Calamity turned, he saw the seriousness of Ignitus. She was going in for the kill, without hesitation. Calamity immediately sense that Rey would need his help, and sprung in, attempting to attack Ignitus. However, she had used this moment to launch an Overheat across all the opponents in the area. Due to the toxic still lurking in his body, Calamity couldn't move fast enough to get out of the way, and was flung back, his body feeling the heat of the flames. Calamity did not falter yet, though, and ran after the Flareon once more, only to see that she had prepared Shadow balls for him. He did his best to dodge the bulk of them, but was hit twice, once on the shoulder and another time on his ribs. He gritted his teeth in pain, trying to recover as fast as he could while he saw Rey tangled with Ignitus.

Meanwhile, Rey was able to spring behind cover to avoid the bulk of the Overheat attack. Small part of the flames still burnt at the hooded Pokemon, but not enough to cause lasting damage. As Ignitus prepared to charge at Rey in flames across her body, the Zangoose too used this opportunity to engage Ignitus. Rey prepared a Swords Dance, inching closer to Ignitus. But the Sentinel was fast. She had combined the flame charge with a Super Power, and shot at Rey will force. Rey swiped at Ignitus with a Slash upon impact, hoping to have damaged the Sentinel, but was thrust back by the attacks from her as well. Rey flew in the air, and impacted the ground hard, rolling to the side, until the Zangoose finally came to a halt. Rey got up slowly, not finished yet, but definitely hurting. As Rey cough, blood appeared on the Pokemon's hands, but it was ignored as the hooded Pokemon stepped back up to prepared for another round with the Flareon. Charging, a Slash was prepared, hoping to be delivered to the body of the Flareon. Calamity used this chance to strike at the Sentinel as well. He prepared the best he had, and powered his energy up. Electricity formed around his body and exploded outward into a powerful Thunder attack, aimed right at the Sentinel.

****************************************************************

Noxious was on fast approach of Zane and Hoodhide, who slowly kept backing away as the Sentinel launch poison attack after poison attack. She had so many ways of killing them, it wasn't even funny. Her poison abilities, even back in the Gold Tribe, were nothing short of spectacularly legendary, and even more so were they with the Sentinels. Noxious had killed many; Alpha Alliance soldiers, citizens, even Gold Tribe members, with her poison. Zane didn't want to fall victim to it, and neither did Hoodhide, although Zane was partially immune to the poison, a direct poison attack from a Sentinel was all the more potent. But Zane was at a loss. He was a close-range, up front fighter. He didn't do well at a distance, and Noxious knew it. That was why she continued to launch Sludge Bomb, after Sludge Wave, after Toxic, after Acid, after Smog. The air, already thick with the purple haze of poison, seemed to only get worse as Zane and Hoodhide coughed, trying not to inhale any of the deadly gas. Noxious kept pursuing, though.

It was at this moment that something had occurred that caught Noxious unsuspecting. Ignitus had launched a powerful amount of flames that affected the entire area. Zane and Hoodhide recoiled and momentarily fell over from the flames. Noxious was too, affected by the flames, but was much closer to the area of impact than Zane or Hoodhide. She bent over, grunting in pain from the burns.

"Gah! Curse that Ignitus!" She said. Zane saw an opportunity to lure her into their trap. "Let's go now!" Zane said, and the two charged the Poison Queen together. Zane brought her down with an Iron Head. Hoodhide implanted her with a High Jump kick. The duo managed to bring the Nidoqueen down to the ground. She was clearly angry now. Zane and Hoodhide knew better than to remain there, and began to run.

"You will PAY for that!!!" Noxious said, getting up quickly and running after them. She began launching loads of poison attacks that flowed like purple rivers at the two Gold Tribe members, who frantically made an effort to keep their distance. It was no use, and the distance appeared to become less and less. Zane and Hoodhide jumped off a small ledge leading to a lower plateau on the battlefield. Noxious followed without hesitation, but then saw something she wasn't expecting.

The two Gold Tribe members had apparently led her to two more Gold Tribe members, a duo of Golducks. "Now's your chance Speculum! Defender!" Zane yelled, moving out of the way with Hoodhide to give them a clear, open shot at the Sentinel.

Penance Malum
Penance gritted his teeth as all he could do at the moment was watch the battle unfold. It was true that his and Speculum's plan was very important to taking down at least one sentinel, but still, he felt that he should have been in the fray fighting alongside his brothers. It's worth it, he thought as he looked down at his water pulse. Speculum was copying the actions he had performed just a few seconds before. The ditto was having a challenge at making his bomb but he got it down. Maybe it was because Penance had his survival instincts kick in that had allowed him to quickly learn how to make a Water Bomb?

Penance turned his attention back to Vigil, Hoodhide and Noxium. All he had to do was wait for them to get just a bit closer and all their planning would work out. Noxium was using her advantage of ranged poison attacks to keep his brothers from getting too close to her and at the same time trying to inflict one of the most severe status ailments Penance could think of. Penance suddenly heard Ignitus shout and he fought the urge to look at the other battle going on. He couldn't take his focus off of Noxium. If he did that small opening that Vigil and Hoodhide had fought for would be quickly lost and they would lose the element of surprise.

Suddenly intense flames rippled through the area knocking Vigil and Hoodhide down, but also inflicting some major damage on Noxium. It seemed that the Sentinels had lost the teamwork that his brothers were exhibiting. Penance chuckled as the two managed to force Noxium to the ground, only for her to get back up and charge at the two, clearly enraged. She gave chase only to be led right to the two Golducks.

"Now's your chance Speculum! Defender!" The two had lept out of the way of the blast zone and Penance wasn't going to give up his chance. "Eat this!" He shouted as he threw his Bomb as fast as he could. As the Bomb left his hands he felt the energy leave him. Still, it was worth it. Penance threw two Water Pulses at Noxium before he jumped back and began to charge another Bomb in his hands.

Gladius Clipeum

Gladius got bored of the monotonic aura of what he was doing. Punch, punch, throw, use some Earthquake every now and then. The Ancients were proving to be worthless opponents, mindless henchmen who only tires Gladius out. But, he still can't see any of his comrades.

"Where the hell are the others?!" Gladius screamed as he Smacked Down an Anorith who came rushing at him with his claws snapping. Another Anorith replaced his fallen comrade but quickly fell with a Wild Charge. Gladius was numb now. He could not feel anything, even tiredness. He just did what he thought was the right thing to do. Suddenly, he heard something.

"Now's your chance Speculum! Defender!" a voice shouted. He looked to his left but only saw a wall of incoming Ancients. They provided Gladius no bother as he and another Alpha Alliance soldier brought them down. Several entities cleared, and Gladius saw it. Several of his brothers fighting two Sentinels; Ignitus and Noxius. So I was right...

"Brothers! I'm here!" He lumbered towards the others, ready to assist.

"You realize you will be little good out there in your condition… your wounds need some time to heal on their own," said the Chansey as the Breloom stood up. The medics had healed Kivir's body with their abilities, but his body still needed some time to finishing the healing process. However that was time he didn't have.

"What is one life weighed against that of hundreds? I am strong enough to fight, and if we do not win this battle it will not matter later if I can fight or not," replied Kivir as he moved toward the exit of the tent grabbing his belt and filling the pouch with a few herbs and solutions. Some of them were his own while others were those made by the medics. These would be for those on the battlefield who needed it the most. Kivir took a deep breath and began to run toward the battlefield.

His body protested his decision to continue to fight and a sharp pain trying to tell him to stop, but he refused to listen to his body. Entering the court yard he looked around as the many Alpha Alliance and Ancients battled. However Kivir knew the Silver Tribe would be the priority targets, looking around Kivir easily spotted the Nidoqueen and Flareon who were fighting Gold Tribe members, these had to be the Silver Tribe. Moving toward the Nidoqueen he knew the ones fighting the Flareon needed more help, but he reasoned the Nidoqueen was safer for him to fight in his current condition. If he helped with the Nidoqueen perhaps they could send one of the water types to help fight the Flareon, which would be better than him fighting the Flareon. While the Nidoqueen was a poison type which was very effective against Kivir, it was a safer bet than the Flareon's fire attacks since Kivir had a little ace up his sleeve when it comes to fighting poison types. He moved toward the poison/ground type while forming several seeds on his tail as he watched to see how the two water type's attacks worked on the Nidoqueen. Well at least if he arrived too late to help he could quickly tell the Gold Tribe members that their allies needed help against the Flareon…

Eternity City

The battle in the central district ensued. General Hazone and General Belas directed the Alpha Alliance forces as they engaged with Ancients all across the battlefield. Hazone spotted the Gold Tribe entangling with two members of the Sentinels. He prepared to go assist them, but ultimately decided against it. This was a matter for the Gold Tribe to handle, and he was confident that they would succeed. Hazone turned his attention to the citadel. The bulk of the Ancient forces were either inside of it, or around it, with plenty more scattered across the battlefield. He was confident that if they took the Citadel, the army of Ancients may very well scatter. If the Sentinels would be defeated, the Ancients would not only be scattered, but they wouldn't have anyone to rally them back. If these two would be successfully accomplished, they may win the battle.

Which meant that it was up to the Gold Tribe to win the battle with the Sentinels, and it fell upon Hazone and Belas to take the Citadel. Belas seemed to be on top of that immediately. Both of them stared at the Citadel in front of them, appeared to try to come up with a plan.

"If we cut through the Ancients on a direct path to the Citadel, that would leave room for them to surround us." Belas said. Hazone agreed. "We can split up forces in the area. You lead part of them into the Citadel, I'll lead the other part around and secure your entrance, and try to split their army up, keep them from rallying any resistance."

Belas nodded. "Alpha Soldiers! On me!" He shouted in his booming voice, as nearby soldiers rallied around the Metagross. As Belas prepared a charge on the Citadel, Hazone gathered those he could to him. The battlefield began to be concentrated into two areas as the Alpha Alliances forces prepared to make a final push. Both sides clashed. Hazone would do his best to come through for the Gold Tribe. Now the Gold Tribe had to come through for them.

"Eat this!" Defender said, launching the attack at Noxious. The attack his directly on the Nidoqueen, and she instantly felt the effect. Her two weaknesses fused in the attacks and brought her much pain. Speculum was next, releasing his own attack at Noxious. Speculum felt an immense amount of energy leave him almost at once as the attack sprung forward. It was a relief to release it, but it also took a lot out of him just for one attack. He hoped it would be worth it.

The second water bomb appeared to be just as critical as the last. Defender, no satisfied just yet, prepped a Water Pulse and launched it at the weakened Sentinel. Noxious growled loudly, and held off the attack, before leaping to the side to avoid the second one. She was panting heavily as she made eye contact with the two Golduck. She stuck out her arms, releasing a powerful Sludge Wave at the two of them. Speculum wasn't fully recovered yet from the effects of the attack he just launched, and was immediately brought off his feet and onto the ground. He struggled to get up. Noxious then aimed a Sludge Bomb at Hoodhide and Zane. Zane tried his best to avoid the attack, but she was too close, and the poison came too fast. It hit him directly, causing him to spiral onto the ground next to Speculum. Hoodhide managed to avoid the attack, before charging in rage at the Nidoqueen with a Hi Jump Kick. Noxious saw the attack coming from a while away, and released a Sludge Wave in all directions right before the Hi Jump Kick hit, blasting the Scrafty backwards.

Noxious laughed as the three of them lay on their feet before her. "Valiant as your attempt may be, there is no stopping a Sentinel, especially me. You will eventually succumb to the effects of my poison, and die. Whether from prolonged effects, or a sudden one. Know, that you will die painfully. Hahaha..." She said as she began to laugh once more. Zane knew she was right. His eyes were blurry as he attempted to stand and face the Sentinel once more. Hoodhide stood back up as well, but Speculum lingered on the ground, too injured to continue fighting for the moment. Zane checked to make sure Defender was still alright as he faced off with the Sentinel once more.

"Brothers! I'm here!" Zane heard a voice say from his side. It was Sword and Shield making his way back to the fight. Zane smirked at him. He knew the big guy couldn't stay down for long.

"We're not done yet, Noxious." Zane said. Noxious answered with a chuckle. "Of course you're not." She said simply, launching another Sludge wave at the five of them. "YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!" She screamed, as poison once more filled the area.

Olivia Trace
Eternity City

Olivia spun rapidly in a circle, clouds of Sleep Powder materializing around her as she does. When the layer of green powder was about three inches wide, she jumped up and spun again, sending the clouds flying in all directions. When she landed, predictably, all of the Armaldo she was facing were very much asleep.

"That...settles that..." the Lilligant said, panting. If it was up to her, five Armaldo and their non-stop X-Scissors wouldn't have been Olivia's opponents--they left some nasty cuts in her body, and she wasn't exactly in tip-top condition.

She hesitated for a moment, but eventually came to a resolve. I think...it's time. Olivia's eyes glowed purple, and before long, so did her entire body. Purple energy waves shot out of every inch of her body, each one hitting an Armaldo. After about three seconds of pure silence, the purple waves left the bodies, taking their life force with it, and came back to Olivia. They covered every wound on the Lilligant's body, and rapidly sealed it. Dream Eater. It was a move that was very recently taught to her by Catherine, and due to her mastery of the move (or rather, lack of), she, at the time being, could only use it once a day. Of course, this has made her try to use the move very sparingly.

She was suddenly snapped back into reality when a scream struck her ears as clearly as a bell: "YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!"

A train of thoughts immediately entered young Olivia's mind as she ran towards the source of the scream. My brothers! My sisters! Are they faring well? I must rush to their aid!

Soon, however, a purple mist suddenly blended into the air obstructed her sight. What is this...? she thought. Olivia's control over her body slowly wavered. She wasn't fully recovered, and she was definitely not ready to be exposed to a poison mist as thick as this one. But...she can't back out! What kind of Gold Tribe member is she if she was just going to let her brothers and sisters die inside of this mist?

Panting, she kept on running until she saw faint purple shadows beyond the haze. She was able to make out several figures inside of the toxic mist. From what she could see, there was a Bisharp, a Snorlax, two Golducks and--a Nidoqueen? Olivia didn't need to be a genius to deduce the situation. She's got to be the source of this mist...Noxious! The toxic mist was beginning to take its toll on the young Lilligant--after all, she is of the Grass-type--but she refused to back down. Gathering every inch of energy she's got in her body, she prepared to attack.

Her body glowed green, and a huge amount of shrubberies suddenly grew out of the ground around her. Out of these came vines, bamboo shoots and stalks of leaves, all directed at the Nidoqueen.

It was a terribly risky move, and Olivia realized it. As soon as the plants shot towards Noxious, Olivia's body dropped down and hit the ground with a loud thud. Looking straight forward through the thick mist, she could see her Leaf Storm making its way towards the Nidoqueen. She crossed her fingers as she looked on and began chanting.

Please...please hit...

Penance Malum

Penance let out a joyful cry as both Water Bombs hit one after the other. The two water pulses Penance had sent out didn't quite hold her off like he had expected. Noxious had dodged the second one completely and, for lack of a better word, looked downright pissed. The Nidoqueen's head snapped up and Penance briefly made eye contact with her and noticed the rage in her eyes. Yeah, they were in trouble now. Noxious sent a Sludge Wave right at them that knocked Penance down. Penance cried out as the purple gunk slammed into his body and was absorbed into his body. Attempting to get off his rear Penance groaned as the poison started to drain his life. Great, now he had a time limit on his hands.

Penance noticed that Speculum hadn't been able to dodge the attack either and even Vigil and Hoodhide had been brought down as well. "Valiant as your attempt may be, there is no stopping a Sentinel, especially me. You will eventually succumb to the effects of my poison, and die. Whether from prolonged effects, or a sudden one. Know, that you will die painfully. Hahaha..." Penance managed to stagger up, but he noticed that Speculum still lay on the ground, too injured to move. Penance couldn't risk another Water Bomb. Just forming the Bomb would probably take Penance out and even if he did manage to throw it he would probably faint immediately after.

It was then Penance heard a familiar voice, "Brothers! I'm here!" Sword and Shield was back in the game!

"We're not done yet, Noxious." Vigil said. Noxious just laughed, "Of course you're not. YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!" Noxious threw another Sludge Wave at them. Penance had recovered enough to respond to this one. He hurled Speculum over his shoulder and made a dash to some nearby rubble. He put the Ditto near the rubble, "Okay, get your strength up Speculum. We're going to try something big now. You already felt a taste of psychic power, now we're going to combine ours. When I say now, use the strongest Confusion you can on Noxious. Theoretically we should be able to lift up higher than any of us could do on our own so just focus on lifting her as high as you can. If we lift her high enough and send her plunging down, then I'm hoping that should be enough to kill her... or at least incapacitate her."

Penance heard a noise and looked back at Noxious to see a Leaf Storm heading straight for the Nidoqueen. A Lilligant stood off to the side and seemed to be the one that shot off the attack. "Alright, Speculum I need you to concentrate and gather your focus. We need to do this! While it is highly likely we'll use up everything we have at least the others will be able to fight off Ignitus!"

Kivir

Kivir continued toward the Nidoqueen, who was still standing strong against her opponents, despite all the attacks against her. She was tough, which made her than much deadlier, since she would win a battle of attrition against the Gold Tribe members. The longer it took them to beat her, weaker they would get due to the poison. She was also doing a great job keeping them at bay delaying their ability to attack. If this kept up she would win the fight. Moving toward the different Gold tribe members, he began to plot. He happened to overhear Penance talking to a ditto about combining their powers, the Ditto looked very weak and it was also clearly poisoned.

Walking over to them he said calmly, "Let him rest… he will need the strength you ask of him to resist the poison." Pulling out some sort of concoction in a glass vial from one of his pouches he offered it to the sickly ditto while he continued talking, "This will stop the poison… instead of forcing the last bit of energy out of your body before the battle is over. Learn to use it more tactically. You do not need to deal the final blow to her. However you do have the ability to strike outside her range, which you can use to support your allies so they might deal a killing blow." Just then several seeds fell off his tail and he handed them to the Golduck, "Plan A… these seeds contain very special Spores that will put any opponent to sleep. My tail has is still recovering from earlier wounds so I cannot throw them far. However it will take you minimum skill to throw these into the Nidoqueen's face. All it takes is a little force to make them burst open. If this does not work or she quickly begins to wake up, I suggest instead of trying to control her entire body try to control one or two parts of her body. If she is beginning to spew poison from her mouth, force her head to the side so she misses, if she begins to charge lock up one leg, or if she tries to strike with claws… slow down her hand. These will open her up for your brothers to deal the killing blows without risking the Ditto's life and taking yourself out of the battle. Also I would recommend you telepathically telling the others to spread out… strike her from all sides. She has a limited field of view at all times and can only focus on one target at a time if they are spread too far out. While she can use that massive attack to hit everything it's going to be less focused and less accurate the more she has to spread out the sludge."

Kivir then picked up Speculum and added, "I will tend to the ones who can no longer fight before I will assist with the monster. Also let your fellow Gold Tribe know I just came from the medical tents and have some antidotes. Just hold on long enough to defeat her and I will administer them to you all… so strike hard and fast." Kivir wanted to give them the antidotes now, but he knew it would be a waste since they would get poisoned as soon as they started fighting again. He then darted away to a close by ruined corner wall of a building with still part of a roof attached, and put the wounded Speculum under it as the potion defeated the poison. Pulling out some herbs he rubbed them on the Pokemon's gravest wounds while saying "You are weak but you will survive. These herbs will reduce the pain and prevent infection… you will require real medical attention before you can fight again however." Looking up Kivir made sure this was a safe spot from both the Nidoqueen's poison and the ancients in the area. Once he was sure it was a safe, he charged back to the battlefield toward a young Lilligant who had charged into a toxic cloud to deliver a powerful attack to the enemy.

He discovered the foolish grass type had gotten herself in a rather potent cloud of poison. Running straight into the toxic cloud the Breloom didn't even bother to hold his breath as he moved up to the grass type. "Next time I would recommend avoid a poisonous cloud of death," said The Breloom as he leaned over and picked up Olivia. Despite breathing in all the poison and thus having been poisoned the Breloom didn't seem affected at all as he saved his fellow grass type. If anything it seemed like Kivir was actually getting a little stronger. Moving the grass type over next to the Ditto he said, "Here… drink this it should start curing the poison."

Gladius Clipeum

As Gladius approached his comrades, he saw Noxious prepare a Sludge Wave.

"No! Stand back everybody!" Gladius retreated to avoid being hit by the wave. The nearby Gold Tribe members were hit. Defender and Vigil seemed fine, as they stood up again, albeit a little shaky on the knees. Speculum, however, fell down. Hoodhide was also blasted away. With the others, Gladius is not sure. "Time to attack!" Gladius screamed. Kivir the Breloom suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started to drag the Ditto away. God bless his Alliance heart.

"Of course you're not. YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!"Gladius heard Noxious scream. She sent another Sludge Wave, but it was countered by a Lilligant. Something flashed from her. A Gold Tribe maybe? The Lilligant succumbed to the poison, but Kivir managed to get her out of the way. Now, it was Vigil, Defender, and Gladius against Noxious. He could not see how the others are faring against Ignitus. There was just no time.

"Our turn next, you scum!" Gladius roared and leaped high. His body started to crackle with electricity as he come crashing down with an unbelievable speed. "Wild Smash!" That is a funny name for an attack.

Penance Malum

Speculum looked like a mess. The poison was really eating him up and Penance knew that in only a few minutes he would probably be in the same state. He would have to throw in all of his power to make up for Speculum's part but he was certain they could- "Let him rest… he will need the strength you ask of him to resist the poison." Penance watched as a Breloom approached them. Looking closer he noticed that it was the same Breloom he had seen earlier in the battle fighting off those Ancients.

The Breloom was talking nonstop as he began to treat Speculum, "This will stop the poison… instead of forcing the last bit of energy out of your body before the battle is over. Learn to use it more tactically. You do not need to deal the final blow to her. However you do have the ability to strike outside her range, which you can use to support your allies so they might deal a killing blow." Penance blinked his eyes in confusion as he registered the Breloom's words. Yeah... he could do that. His Water Pulse and Confusion attacks could be used at farther ranges, but even then the poison would weaken him and the others to the point that they would be easy picking for Ignitus.

The Breloom handed him some seeds that he took without thinking. As the Breloom explained what the seeds would do and how he could use his powers in a more tactical sense all Penance could do was stare at him. The guy was like a walking encyclopedia. Not only did the Breloom give a detailed plan on what he should do but also laid on him back up plans on how to win. Regular soldiers don't know this stuff, Penance thought. This Breloom, he was no soldier, he was something different.

By the time Penance had gotten his thoughts in order and was about to speak to the Breloom the pokemon was already gone, having grabbed Speculum and taking him to the medical tents. Penance closed his eyes and focused on what the Breloom had told him. Alright, first tell the others the plan. Once again he reluctantly reached out to the minds of the Gold Tribe members who were currently engaging Noxious and gave them a quick message. Going to throw some seeds at Noxius. Will make her fall asleep. Distract her!

Penance crossed his fingers, hoping that his brothers and sister weren't too mad about him entering their minds. I'm going to have to do a lot of apologizing later on, Penance thought glumly.

Eternity City

Zane and Hoodhide prepared as Noxious released what would surely be another power Sludge Wave. However, the attack never was able to release, as the Nidoqueen was bombarded from behind with a Leaf Storm. Noxious fell over, and cursed in pain. She was slower to get up than before. Her injuries must have begun to take its toll on her. Slowly, but surely. Zane turned to see the source. A Lilligant. But not just anyone. Zane could see, even through the shroud of poison, a golden gleam coming from her. She was Gold Tribe.

Zane noticed Defender quickly use this moment to swoop up the injured Speculum and make for some rubble to take a quick breather and recover. He saw the Breloom Kivir make for the rubble as well to provide assistance. Noxious turned her attention to the Lilligant who had struck at her before.

"Impudent little fool..." She said as she raised her arms in preparation for an attack. "I'll crush you-" BAM! Noxious was suddenly hit by Sword and Shield, who charged at her like a wild beast. The hit sent Noxious to the ground once more, but as she rose, she aimed her arms at the Snorlax and fired a Sludge Bomb at him. Zane noticed what she was attempting to do. It was reckless for Sword and Shield to aim at her close up. He had nowhere to move in such a short distance. Zane sprinted towards he, and swiped at the Nidoqueen's left arm with an Aerial Ace. The slash managed to cause her hands to lose focus, and prevent her from firing her attack, although some of the poison washed up against Zane, who disregarded it. Poison was less effective against Zane than the others. Zane quickly moved back, out of range as Noxious rose from the ground once more.

"Get back, brother!" Zane yelled to Sword and Shield. The Gold Tribe members moved out of the way as Noxious rose from her feet. A message was suddenly flung into Zane's head as Defender telepathically communicated with them.

Going to throw some seeds at Noxius. Will make her fall asleep. Distract her!

Zane and Hoodhide turned to Defender for a moment, before acknowledging. Zane ran to one side of Noxious as Hoodhide moved to another. He hoped Sword and Shield and the Lilligant would do something similar, making her have to worry about an attack from all directions. Noxious looked around at the Gold Tribe members spreading themselves out. She laughed.

"What do you hope to do, surround me? My poison knows no limits. It has no end in range. Hahahahaha..." She began gathering energy around her, and release a smog into the air. The poison gas which was present only seemed to thicken even more as it soon became too difficult to keep Zane's eyes open for too long. He could barely see the figure of Noxious in front of him, and then a second later, she was out of sight. In fact all of the Gold Tribe around were unable to be seen by Zane in the poison fog.

"Defender? Hoodhide? Sword and Shield?" Zane called out, but the battling of the armies prevented him from hearing a clear answer at the moment. "Speculum? Anyone?" Zane cried out. No answer. Suddenly, he saw a figure pass by the poison fog in front of him. He coughed as he brought his arms to his chest to prepared for an attack. Nothing came yet. Without warning, however, he was bombarded from behind with a Giga Impact. Zane was flung through the air as he was impacted full force by the powerful physical attack.

Noxious smiled as she disappeared back into the mist, and traveled through silently as she made her way to the Snorlax. She let out an unrelenting Sludge Bomb right on the Snorlax, and once again, dissipated away. Hoodhide looked around, unable to see anything in front of him, as he moved his head in all directions, looking for a target.

"Careful! She's using the gas to cloud her movements!" Hoodhide heard a voice say, probably Zane's. But Hoodhide wasn't prepared for an attack from behind at that moment. Noxious charged into the Gold Tribe member from behind, and hit him with a Sludge, and once again, used the poison to cloud her movements. Noxious turned her attention now to the Breloom and Lilligant. She traveled through the gaseous mist as if she was apart of it herself, as if it all was an extension of her very body, and made her way to where the two Pokemon's location. Then, she prepared. Energy gathered at her arms as she aimed for the two through the mist, and all at once, released a Sludge Wave at the Breloom and Lilligant, and once more retreated into the mist. The laughing of the Sentinel could be heard throughout the mist as she taunted the Gold Tribe members. "You cannot defeat the Queen of Poison!" Noxious was heard saying within the mist.

Zane stood up slowly. His blurry vision didn't even matter anymore within the poisonous mist. Luckily, he was partially immune to most of the poisonous air, but it didn't stop him from being unable to see. He called out for the others. "There's no way we can fight her in this! We have to find a way to get rid of it!" Zane yelled hoping one of them, any of them could hear him.

Olivia Trace
Eternity City

Olivia peered through the toxic haze and saw that her Leaf Storm had hit its mark. A joyous smile crept up to her face upon seeing it, but it was quickly replaced by a grimace as a furious Noxious growled...something... By this point, the poison was beginning to numb her hearing, but she could still see the Nidoqueen raising her arms in preparation of an attack. Luckily, she was saved right on time as a Snorlax charged at Noxious, making her unable to continue her assault.

The mist quickly fell in again, obstructing Olivia's line of sight. Right now, all the poison she had breathed in numbed her whole body--it wasn't going to be very long before she loses her consciousness.

I'm sorry, brothers...sisters...I've let you all down.

Right after that thought exited her mind, she felt a hand taking her whole body up. With great effort, she turned her head slightly to the right to see that the man who had done so was a Breloom. "Next time I would recommend avoid a poisonous cloud of death," he said curtly. Olivia gave him a sheepish smile, attempting to remark on how it wasn't really an option. However, by this time, her mouth had been numbed as well. Damned mist! she mentally cursed.

"Here… drink this it should start curing the poison," the Breloom said, offering her a bottle with some sort of yellow, gooey liquid contained within. Gross! Does he think I'm actually going to drink that? she thought. However, the Breloom forced the medicine down her throat, and she couldn't fight him back in her current state. It appeared that Lady Luck was pretty angry at her right now, because apparently her taste buds were the only part of her body that wasn't numbed by the poison, leaving the agonizing taste to torment her tongue.

However, true to what the Breloom said, she felt the effects of the poison decreasing very quickly. In fact, within a minute or so, she felt better than ever, and apparently immune to the poison, since the mist had thickened--wait, when did the mist get so thick again?

Just then, she heard a shout ring out: "Careful! She's using the gas to cloud her movements!"

Oh, right. I'm still in the fight against the Queen of Poison. Now where oh where might she be? Almost directly afterwards, as if on cue, a looming shadow of a Nidoqueen could be seen quite clearly through the haze. She sent a Sludge Wave towards both Olivia and the Breloom--as soon as she saw the attack making its way towards them, she charged up three Energy Balls and launched them in quick successions. The first one eliminated about three-fourths of the Sludge Wave, while the second one destroyed the remnants. The third one was aimed at Noxious, but her silhouette quickly disappeared, making it impossible for Olivia to tell whether or not the attack had hit.

She could only hope it did.

He didn't know it, but Hanso was feeling nearly as bored as Sword and Shield was with fighting crowds of Ancients. The Gallade had been steadily progressing towards the courtyard, stopping several times to aid Alpha Alliance soldiers that were in dire need of help. These Ancients just did not live up to the standards of the Gold Tribe; really the only reason Hanso was being held up at all was the sheer numbers.

Presently, he stood up from having jumped onto an Archeops and steering it into a few of its brethren. His right leg was starting to act up, but that was to be expected and ignored. Hanso's arms glowed a light blue as he threw some Psycho Cuts at the back of a Cradily whose attention was on the Sandshrew before it. The soldier looked around to pick out who had helped him, but Hanso was moving again, steadily fighting his way to the courtyard, which was close now.

One of the first things he noticed, after subduing two Kabutops and an Omastar to get into the courtyard, was the purple fog. What the-- Oh, snap. There was a powerful Poison Pokemon here, and unless the Alpha Alliance had acquired such a Pokemon, there was just one Sentinel who specialized in poison. I am not in the mood for more poison. But where was-- There! Off to the side, Hanso saw Ignitus battling Calamity and...with the movement, he could only tell that the other combatant was cloaked, with the shape of one who stood on two legs.

So now what? Search for Noxious and fight her, or help the other two fight Ignitus? No-brainer, Hanso thought, turning to run into the fight with Ignitus. Before he got far, an Aerodactyl - those were probably the most annoying Ancients - swooped down to Fly at Hanso. The Gallade heard its screech, then anticipated his movements before jumping up to grab onto the Aerodactyl's legs. Using his weight to drag it down, Hanso spun into a circle for momentum before throwing the Ancient directly at Ignitus. He immediately put his hands together and formed a ball of blue energy, sending it into the sky and using his Future Sight to imagine the ball hitting the Flareon in a minute or so.

Hanso then extended the blades of his arms - he'd withdrawn them to avoid spearing himself - and fired off several Psycho Cuts at Ignitus. "I'm back," he said to himself, grinning.

Penance Malum

Penance had lost his chance. Before he even had the chance to throw the seeds at Noxious the Sentinel had conjured up a cloud of smog and had disappeared into it. Judging by the sounds he heard, the Gold Tribe members that were in the gas cloud were being decimated in Noxious' turf. If the smog didn't clear up then the others would either be killed by the poison or by Noxious' vicious attacks. Penance tired to peer into the cloud, but couldn't see anything but silhouettes. Penance looked down at the seeds in his hands and raised his arm back to throw, but immediately lowered his arm. He couldn't just throw these blindly into the smog, even with his lucky bracelet there would still be a small chance that he would hit one of his brothers or his sisters.

Penance thought hard, what could he do to single out Noxious. The first thought that raced to his mind was to let out a screech, but that would his his brothers and sisters as well and it wouldn't come close to dissipating the poisonous cloud. Penance grabbed his temples. That Breloom had said to use his moves tactically. Penance looked around the ruined area for some inspiration, and then he saw it. It was all around him! With his plan in mind Penance sent out another message to his allies. Everyone, when I say 'hit the deck' drop flat onto the ground! It's imperative that you get down as fast as possible! Trust me on this!

Penance looked at the rubble that littered the area and reached out with his Confusion and grabbed piece after piece, levitating them in the air until he had four large chunks of the broken wall in position. With his energy spent on making the Water Bomb and with his body still affected by the poison he really couldn't find the energy to levitate anything else. He found the minds of his allies once more and gave the signal, HIT THE DECK! he shouted into their heads and only waited for two seconds before he pushed the rubble straight into the smog at a high speed. Either the rubble would hit into Noxious or at least surprise her and allow his brothers and sisters to find her position and get a attack or two in, hopefully.

Gladius Clipeum

He hit his target. His right arm met Noxious in the face, and it brought Noxious down to the ground. However, Gladius knew that Noxious would not be brought down by a single attack. Gladius knew that much, so he simply hoped Noxious would stay on the ground long enough for him to move away. However, Noxious was more tough than Gladius expected. Immediately, the Nidoqueen stood up and aimed a Sludge Bomb straight at Gladius.

"Dammit!" Gladius tried to jump backwjards, but he is too slow. He saw Noxious grin a little. "Dammit!" Suddenly, Zane was there and aimed at the Nidoqueen. Immediately, Noxious buckled and fell.

"Get back, brother!" Vigil shouted. Gladius is way ahead of him. When the sentinel rose, Gladius is way far from her. A message was relayed through his mind.

Going to throw some seeds at Noxius. Will make her fall asleep. Distract her!

Gladius nodded. He got into position, and prepared a Surf. This time, I will use a long range attack. Before he could even attack, a thick poisonous mist covered the whole area. "What?!" He heard someone scream in the mist. Then some vile laughter. Then someone breathed on his neck.

"Foolish pig," Noxious whispered. Gladius was suddenly hit by a barrage of Sludjge Bombs. Gladius managed to dodge to the left before aiming a Return to the spot where Noxious was once was. But he missed it. The Sentinel was not there anymore. "What?! I can't see!"

"Everyone, when I say 'hit the deck' drop flat onto the ground! It's imperative that you get down as fast as possible! Trust me on this!" jGladus looked around trying to determine Noxious' position.

"HIT THE DECK!" Gladius pulled himself down to the earthj. Now what?

Eternity City

General Belas and a pair of Hitmonlee broke down the front doors of the Citadel, and charged through. Polluted inside were scores of Ancients, who prepared the oncoming onslaught of Alpha Alliance soldiers who poured in. Belas led the charge, right in front. He wasn't as traditional a General as many others have been in the past. He preferred to lead his troops directly into frays, much the same as a Gold Tribe member would. Hazone was more of a planner, a tactician as well as a fighter. Some say had Belas chosen a different path that the one through the Alpha Alliance, he would have made a fine Gold Tribe member.

Belas landed a Zen Headbutt right on a Cranidos who stood between him and the stairs to the higher levels of the Citadel. The Cranidos crashed into the wall, and fell. A good portion of the Alpha Alliance soldiers followed General Belas up the stairs as the others fought on the first floor and slowly began to secure it from the Ancients. Belas led the charge to the next floor, where many more Ancients resided. But the General was on a roll, as he used a Psychic to raise a large Bastiodon off of his feet. The Bastiodon struggled, but to no avail as Belas went on to fling the large Pokemon at another group of Ancients. Part of the army once more remained on the floor to claim it as their own, as Belas charged up to the next level. The process was continued as the Alpha Alliance fought to slowly take the Citadel for themselves, one of the last major steps to claiming victory in Eternity City. Belas had a wide grin on his face as he commanded the troops to the last level of the Citadel. They were so close to victory, he could taste it.

But they weren't done yet. The final floor, unlike most of the others, was not populated with a battalion of Ancients. Instead, there was one lone figure who stood at the edge of the large, opened window, looking at the battle below. From a distance, Belas couldn't tell exactly who it was, but as he got closer, he recognized the Pokemon right away.

Sade Frost, known as "Frostbite". Sentinel of the Silver Tribe.

****************************************************************

As Noxious retreated into the mist, an Energy Ball pass right over her head, nearly landing a direct blow on her. She looked back, realizing the attack must have come from the Lilligant from before. Noxious looked around her mist. Unlike the Gold Tribe members, years of adapting her eyes has allowed her to see quite clearly through the mist, while leaving her opponents blind. It was one of the terrifying fights to be had among the Sentinels, when caught in Noxious's mist with no way to see her hits coming. She decided then it was time to take it up another level.

Noxious stood in the middle of the mist, and opened her mouth, preparing. Energy gathered at the opening of her mouth, and formed into a round circle of pure energy. She aimed at the Scrafty of the Gold Tribe, and fired the Hyper Beam right onto it. The blast seared through the air of mist, and hit the unsuspecting Hoodhide directly. The Scrafty called out in pain, and was blasted back through the air. He didn't move as he landed quite a distance a way. What was best about this was that by time they realized what she had done, it would be too late, Noxious would have recharged her Hyper Beam, and prepared to hit again.

To Zane, all her heard was a loud blast of noise, and a cry out in pain. He knew one of them had been hit, but who, and was that Pokemon alright? He had no way to tell, and as long as the mist kept up, he could do little about it. He suddenly heard Defender communicating in his head once more.

Everyone, when I say 'hit the deck' drop flat onto the ground! It's imperative that you get down as fast as possible! Trust me on this!

Zane didn't know what Defender was planning, but he was going to trust his brother to go through with his plan. There wasn't much else he could do at this point anyways. He prepared himself, and a moment later, he heard the command from Defender, and immediately, he lay himself on the ground. Right over him, he could see the figure of large pieces of matter flying over him.

Noxious saw it too, but it came in too fast, and she was recharging still to do anything about it. The rubble hit her directly, and she cried out in pain. Zane heard the cry as well. He realized Defender gave them a chance to go at Noxious while she recovered from whatever Defender hit her with. If only this mist wasn't here to prevent them from seeing her.

It was then that the unexpected happened, from an unlikely Pokemon.

*****************************************************************

Will Sky was a Staravia attached to the 2nd Division, Aerial Support Force under General Hazone in the Alpha Alliance army. He had spent the last few hours in the overhead of the battle, providing aerial support at flying Ancients around, mostly Aerodactyls and Archen, and Archeops. His job involved scouting out parties that were engaging Ancients, and would appear to be on the opposite side of number, or were outmatched, and come in with a group to help out. This was the job of the Aerial Support Forces, having smaller flying Pokemon assemble in groups to try to take out bigger foes like an Aerodactyl. It was quite effective at the moment.

The skies were quite populated with Ancient Pokemon as well, but as the tide of battle was slowly turning, the Ancients became less focused on fighting other Flying Alpha Alliance Pokemon, and more focused on the battle below. This proved advantageous for Will, who wanted nothing more than to simply survive this battle. As he flew around the edges of the main district, a cloud of purple gas caught his eye. He had sharp eyes, and was able to see some of the figures inside. A golden Bisharp caught his eye, as did a Golduck, a Snorlax, a Lilligant, and a few others. He knew right away who they were. Gold Tribe. They were fighting a Nidoqueen, who Will knew right away as well. Noxious. From the looks of the battle, it wasn't going completely in their favor. The poison cloud seemed to be obstructing their vision, causing Noxious to have the advantage. At this moment, Will wanted nothing more than to pretend he didn't see this, and flying around again to mind his own business. He knew better than to entangle in things like this. But something drew him to the cloud, something he didn't quite understand. Not thinking, the Staravia chirped loudly to draw the attention of a mass of flying Pokemon in the area.

A Tailow flew to the side of Will. "What is it, Will?" The Tailow asked. "You see that purple cloud there? Gold Tribe members are fighting inside it. Against a Sentinel." Another Pidgey chirped in. "Oh..." He said simply, thinking that Will was just pointing it out as simply a sightseeing experience. Will glanced around at the other bird Pokemon who simply looked as well, none speaking. "...We have to help them." Will said finally. All of them suddenly turned with a wide variety of expressions on their faces, some frightened, some appalled that Will would even suggest something like that, others held blank faces, and some others simply looked confused.

"We need to help them! They can't see in that cloud, and Noxious is tearing them apart!" Will said. The Tailow chirped back in. "What the heck are you talking about, Will? That's a Sentinel. A Sentinel! Are you looking for a death wish? She'll tear all of us apart like we're small sticks! That's not our fight!" Another Zubat also spoke. "Yeah, besides, the General said not to get involved in things way over our heads. I'd say this qualifies. Just let it go, Will. They'll be fine."

Will shook his head, and spoke again. "If we were in that cloud right now facing Noxious, and they were up here, do you think they would have just flew off without a thought?" The Tailow struggled to find words to say. "I...well...they were trained to do that so..."

"I didn't realize helping a comrade in need was something that you had to be trained in in order to do." Will shot back. The flying Pokemon all looked at each other, back and forth, fear could be seen through their eyes.

And for good reason, because what they were about to do may be the most bravest thing Alpha Alliance soldiers ever attempted, or perhaps the most foolish.

******************************************************************

Zane looked around desperately through the mist for a moment to try to get a read on where Noxious was, most likely recovering from the rubble hits from Defender. They wouldn't get a better chance, and yet they were wasting it. Then he felt a gust of wind pass by him. He payed it no mind at first, until it began to pick up more and more. Zane realized this couldn't have been a normal occurrence, because it was strong enough to the point of causing the mist to slowly wisp away. The view became much clearer, and clearer, until the entire mist was gone before them, and all could be seen. Zane looked up to see a platoon of flying Pokemon flapping their wings in a gust motion, getting rid of the mist that covered the Gold Tribe members.

They wouldn't get a better opportunity than this. Zane looked to see Noxious catching her breath in the middle of the Gold Tribe members, a worried look on her face. Zane didn't hesitate a moment later, as he sprinted for the stumbled Noxious, and rammed right into her with an Iron Head, as hard as he could muster. He didn't let up, unleashined a potent Aerial Ace on her afterward. He was giving it his all, and he hoped the others would follow, because now was the time to give everything they had.

Gladius Clipeum

He heard something whizzed above his head as soon as he hit the ground. He heard Noxious cry out in pain, presumably from whatever Defender used to hit her. However, it was not cry of defeat. It simply said 'Hey, what's that?! Too annoying!' Gladius knew that Noxious was temporarily confused, so he got up and looked for a chance to hit her. However, the thick poison mist still clouds Gladius eyes, and he could just stop his breath for a short time. He inhaled quickly so as not to let in huge amounts of poison enter his body. He's been knocked out once; that's not going to happen again.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew from his left.Gladius looked and for a moment, the mist cleared. He saw a bunch of flying type Pokemon, Alpha Alliance Pokemon, blowing away the mist with a Defog. When most of the mist were gone, he saw Vigil run towards the Sentinel and delivered an Iron Head, followed by an Aerial Ace. The barrage of attacks, plus the confusion, managed to buy the Gold Tribe members some time. Gladius rushed towards the duo, and prepared a Wild Charge. He ran straight towards the Sentinel, to ram it. With all his weight. With all his might.

Penance Malum

As Penance unleashed his attack he heard a loud explosion take place in the mist. Hoodhide flew out of the smog and landed with a thud on the ground. Just a few seconds later Penance heard Noxious cry out in the fog. His attack had hit! Since Noxious wasn't immediately blasting a new wave of poison attacks Defender guessed that the attack had surprised her. It suddenly hit Penance that there was no way to find her in the fog. He face palmed himself as he realized his stupidity. He had given the others a huge opportunity, and had blown it. The odds of Noxious falling for the same trick were extremely slim, and while he didn't really know that much about Noxious or the other Sentinels, he did know that with their Gold Tribe training they would be able to quickly adapt on the battlefield.

He couldn't use Confusion since he really didn't have a target and firing a barrage of Water Pulses would most likely hit his allies before he could find Noxious' location. There was nothing more he could do to help his brothers. If he also entered the fog he would just be blinded and an easy picking for the Sentinel. Penance ran over to Hoodhide and looked his brother over. There weren't that many injuries on him and the Scrafty was out cold. Before he could do anything Penance heard a noise behind him. Looking up he saw a crowd of bird pokemon flapping their wings. The gust they sent out was dissipating the smog!

Vigil and Sword and Shield were already unleashing their attacks on the worn out Sentinel. Penance formed a Water Pulse in each hand and began throwing them as fast as he could, waiting only a second between each throw to form new Pulses. Penance's breathing turned ragged, but he wasn't stopping until the Sentinel had fallen.

Olivia Trace
Eternity City

Everyone, when I say 'hit the deck' drop flat onto the ground! It's imperative that you get down as fast as possible! Trust me on this!

Olivia couldn't attack with all this mist in the way, so she obliged. Luckily, she was far from unproductivity, even though she was lying down. She still had one trick up her sleeve--the trademark move of every Lilligant in her family. Quiver Dance.

Olivia lied down silently, her body shaking lightly as she gathered power and speed from the air, the earth, the nature. She closed her eyes and focused on the sturdiness of the ground, the movements of the clouds, the strong gusts in the air--wait. Strong gusts? Olivia's eyes shot open, to be greeted by the sight of the toxic haze being cleared out by a powerful Defog. Olivia tilted her head skywards, to see a handful of aerial Pokemon--Alpha Alliance soldiers, it seemed--blowing away the poisonous mist. She smiled at them, mouthing a thank you as she did.

The mist was beginning to clear, but Olivia still didn't see Noxious. She kept on Quiver Dancing, feeling her power and agility rise with every passing second. Slowly, the haze disappeared, revealing various Gold Tribe members in its wake. The Breloom who helped her earlier, a golden Bisharp, a Snorlax, and a Golduck, and eventually, Noxious herself. Her eyes darted towards the Bisharp as he unleashed a powerful Iron Head followed by a potent Aerial Ace towards the Sentinel, who remained glued to her position, apparently unable to move. Soon after, the Snorlax followed suit.

Olivia remained, lying on the ground while looking proudly at her fellow Gold Tribe members. She was still Quiver Dancing. She was planning on using something she had experimented to use with Catherine before the invasion, and if she could pull it off, it was going to be extremely powerful, especially after all this Quiver Dancing. She felt the energy inside of her rise and rise, until she deemed it enough. She jumped up and charged towards Noxious at an unbelievable speed, thanks to the speed boost provided by the Quiver Dance. Once she was at a close enough range, she held out her arms and charged up five Energy Balls from finger to finger, all the while growing shrubberies around herself in preparation of launching a Leaf Storm.

"ENERGY BALL STORM!" Olivia screamed loudly, launching both her Energy Balls and Leaf Storm towards Noxious. As soon as the attacks were launched, she fell to her knees, panting. She went all out with that attack and used up every ounce of energy in her body. Now, if the attack wasn't enough to defeat the Queen of Poison, she hoped her fellow Gold Tribe members would take care of the rest.

When Noxious unleashed her attack toward Kivir and Olivia the Breloom quickly braced himself so his body was between the wave of poison and Olivia. The wave of poison slammed into him but he stood his ground as it caused him massive pain. Looking up he saw Olivia had not been hurt by the attack and he had blocked it. He stumbled forward a little, but then a rush of strength from the poison surged through his body. Regaining his footing he looked over at the cloud of poison. Just then the wind began to pick up and suddenly the Nidoqueen was exposed. Looking up Kivir saw some flying pokemon causing the wind. Smiling Kivir said, "Thank you…" to the Alpha Alliance soldiers.

Kivir wanted to help the wounded before attacking the Silver Tribe member but he knew attacking her first would be wisest. Taking off his medicine belt he handed it to Olivia and said, "Guard this… it has antidotes for the others." With that he closed his eyes for a brief moment and then charged forward toward the Nidoqueen. He ran right behind Olivia's Energy balls allowing them to cover his approach. Focusing his strength he slowed his breathing as the orbs of energy slammed into the Nidoqueen. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he charged into battle. The others attacked her with reckless abandon. Their attacks were more powerful and more effective than his attack would be, but Kivir was taking a different approach than the others.

'Where one strikes matters more than how hard one strikes,' remembered Kivir as he ran toward Noxious preparing his attack. Off to his left several water pulses flew past each one striking their target. A Gallade and a Bisharp charged into the Nidoqueen and each unleashed a relentless assault. Kivir ignored the others as he focused his mind and sought harmony between spirit and body. He felt this energy flow through his body as he prepared himself to strike. This attack was easily disrupted by interference due to amount of focus and balance needed to perform it. However the Nidoqueen was in no position to strike as the combined assaults of the other Gold Tribe members forced her off guard. Kivir moved past the gold Bisharp and inside the guard of the Nidoqueen. Bracing his feet on the ground he moved into a perfectly balanced stance with his right leg a little forward of the left. Looking up at the Nidoqueen as a water pulse slammed into her face sending her head backward Kivir saw his target. Unifying the strength of his soul and body into his right fist Kivir struck launched his single powerful Focus Punch. The powerful blow slammed into the middle of the Nidoqueen's throat, Kivir's target was her wind pipe. He hoped to crush the vital organ with his single powerful punch.
