    Unfortunately, he could only take two because he was weighed down by the souls he stole - the souls of every living person in the room. i.e.: everyone died.

    Unfortunately, Darkrai is attacked by a swarm of Vespiqueens and dies.

    Unforunately, Haunter would have had to use Transform to become Darkrai, and therefore adopting the Dark typing, which means that Hauntrai would be dead.
