    Very awesome, cheers. But can the in game speed increase in anyway? Usually with an emulator you can do that. It is cringeworthy slow at default speed.

    Not likely. There was an update not too long ago. There are a lot of things to work on in order to make it operate like the gen 6 games. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't an update for a while just because of the sheer magnitude of the changes necessary.

    Sorry for the lack of updates, been busy the last few weeks playing alpha sapphire, and also had a car accident. The project isn't dead, even if it seems like that sometimes, it will get finished

    As for the questions

    Does Pikachu disappear now when put in the box or daycare? And is it tradeable? Not yet, but will be
    Can you explain how to friend trade? Not at the moment, i'm going to rewrite that part
    Also debating whether to make the gts accessable everywhere like in gen6 as opposed to being only in the pokecenter
    But can the in game speed increase in anyway? Not by default, if i recall correctly someone previously said in the thread how to accomplish that

    • not sure if this is a problem for anyone else, but i keep trying to download the beta .19 off the lightning yellow website and it keeps giving me a "404 not found" page. please fix this. thank you.

    Red and Ash are not the same character. In Yellow, they had the chance to make Red look like Ash, but they decided to make him look like his official Red and Blue artwork. Plus, Red appears in (Heart)Gold, (Soul)Silver, Crystal, Black 2, and White 2 with a party based off of in-game gift Pokémon from Yellow (Pikachu, Eevee/Lapras, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle).

    While Pokémon Yellow may have some anime elements, it is still very much Red's story. Ash doesn't go into the Rocket Hideout, Ash doesn't beat Team Rocket in Silph Co., Ash doesn't fight Giovanni at all, et cetera. Red does do those things. Red doesn't travel with Misty and Brock, Red doesn't get badges out of pity, Red doesn't wake up late, et cetera.

    I do realize that you went through the trouble of changing it, but I personally believe that it should be changed back.

    I agree with this. Unless you're going out of your way to change this into an anime hack--the main character should not be Ash. That's what anime hacks are for and it seems like a bit of a forced change for everyone who was expecting a Yellow remake?

    I'll be playing regardless and will enjoy it when it's finished, but I still think it should be changed back to Red. It's ultimately your choice, however.

    Also, have you thought about increasing the shiny rate or implementing a pokeradar or something of the like--since it's easier to get shinies in the later generations?

    This hack is looking awesome, great work! I too am on the side of the "Red" sprite rather than the "Ash" sprite. Honestly seeing that latest change took me back a bit. I feel as though the past sprite worked better. While there's always room for improvement on how "Red" is depicted, I do feel he should remain separate from Ash. But that's just my opinion, in the end you should do as you like. Keep up the great work!

    I'm also looking for the download link if you wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction. I figured it would be on the website but an attempt to select "Version .019" or whatever it was called just lead me to a broken link page.

    Hi folks, I'm new by here and just discovered this RPG PKMN Yellow Remake it's amazing but I can't manage to get it working, many of the links here are dead. A few minutes ago downloaded "PLY 0.21a.zip" AFAIK the "Data" folder is missing along with and "updater.exe" could someone guide me?

    just run the game exe. It doesn't have a data folder as its compressed and encrypted into another file

    • I haven't had time to play much of the game yet, but from what I've seen, it looks awesome. I grew up with Yellow and have wanted to see a remake of it for quite some time. Keep up the good work!

    You'll need to remove the spaces since I'm currently not allowed to post actual links. Also, the second link has the entire game but you'll need only the audio from it (afaik). Just copy the audio and put it into 0.21a and it should work.

    Thanks for the amazing hack! I was wonwondering if there's a way to play this on an emulator on my phone? Possibly through a ROM file. :)

    Sorry to disappoint you but there is no way to play this on an emulator. In fact this game isn't even a hack. It's a standalone game created using RPG Maker XP. If you would like to play hacks I'd advise you to go to the Hacks Studio.

    Thank you for the awesome game! This is a really great game!

    I had some struggles finding a working download link, since the official webpage's download section leads to an error 404. Also i read something in the thread about an updater.exe earlier, which I couldnt find in the folder, is it still included in the game?

    I already have 6 badges and only found some minor bugs (the elevator crash on the second floor in the casino was the biggest one so far). Also i found it hard how to manage the elevator, since it is not that obvious where to find the buttons.

    Anyway it is a great game, im very happy i found it. Thank you Desbrina!
