  • A pokemon with a water/bug typing
There is Surskit, but come to think of it, he's the only Water/Bug Pokémon we have. So, I'm inclined to agree with this. I wouldn't mind having a new dragonfly Pokémon that's Water/Bug with the ability Levitate or something like a new beetle. When we first saw Karrablast, I thought that would have been another Bug/Water, but it ended up being just a Bug-type. I know we already have Pokémon based off of those types of bugs, but it wouldn't be the first time GameFreak would base their idea off of an animal that's already been taken.

  • I'd like to see a non rock type fossil
Or something like a rock/psychic fossil that looks like a jewel or something and evolves into steel/psychic

  • I'd like to see a dark/metal panther pokemon with decently sized metal claws, plus an ice type saber tooth tiger (mamoswines rival!). That's all I got.
Edit: Quakeon. Ground type eeveelution I came up with in sixth grade or something.

  • A grass mouse... I'm thinking about Chespin, the grass starter for Gen VI. It looks like a rodent.
As for dinosaurs, take a closer look at aerodactyl, Archen and Cranidos. Although I wouldn't mind seeing more dinosaurs. Herbivores, grass types. Also would like to see triceratops, but... Shieldon?

A red panda would be cute.

Archen and Aerodactyl aren't dinosaurs. Pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs.

I wouldn't want to see anymore dinosaurs, anyway, though.

Really, because there are a ton of distinct dinosaur species that they haven't exploited yet.

I'd love a dolphin Pokémon, and a Fire/Electric Zodiac-based tiger xD And I think it would be cool if there were to be another "electric rodent" this gen for said rodent to be part Rock-type and act as one of our fossil Pokémon.

And I'd...I'd really like to see a pancake Pokémon. Not like Stunfisk pancake, either. A legit pancake.
    I'm not joking.

    Fossil Pokemon?

If you look at the 5 generations of Pokemon, there has only been one generation that did not have fossil Pokemon (G/S/C). And we have had an array of prehistoric creatures. Are there any specific prehistoric creatures that you would like to see incorporated into fossil Pokemon in X&Y? Or would you prefer none?

I personally want a primitive shark, like Stethacanthus. I know there is Sharpedo, but he is like a half a shark, and I want a full fledged shark.

Here is a pic of a Stethacanthus: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/24/Stethacanthus_BW.jpg

  • Oy, here's a few:

    >A dolphin Pokemon, preferably a stand alone, that is either pure Water, Water/Psychic or Water/Fighting and Specially-Offensive with the ability Justified or Own Tempo.

    >A tiger Pokemon, preferably Offensive-based and speedy with a Dark-subtyping.

    >A hedgehog Pokemon, stand alone, that is Defensive-based with the ability Iron Barbs, or Poison Point and a typing of either Poison/Ground, or Normal/Ground.

    >An echidna Pokemon, stand alone, that is Specially-Defensive and has decent physical Offensive. Preferably part-Poison with either the Poison Touch, Poison Point, or Liquid Ooze ability.

    >A platypus Pokemon that is equally Defensive and Specially-Offensive. Typing would be Water/Poison and the ability would, preferably be Volt Absorb since platypi can live on land.

    >A panda Pokemon that is essentially a physical wall counterpart to Blissey, including a higher Attack stat as compared to Special Attack. Typing would be Normal and its ability would be Serene Grace or Sap-Sipper.

    >A dove Pokemon that has two varieties, gender-dependent. Males would have teal-coloring while females would have pink. Typing would be Normal/Flying or Psychic/Flying with an ability that boosts its Special Attack by 1.5x when its partner has the same ability, and of the opposite gender.

    >A snow leopard Pokemon, stand alone, that is Ice/Dark in typing and has a high Offensive and Defensive stat. Ability would be Snow Cloak or Defiant.

    >A cheetah Pokemon, stand alone, that is Electric/Dark in typing with incredible Speed and above-average Special Attack. Ability would be Quick Feet or Volt Absorb.

For me, my major want is animals that have yet to be introduced

Dolphin.... How has this not been made yet?
    Chinese Dragon- PURE Dragon type.
Dunsparse EVO- Its a land snake, lets make it badass
    Porcupine- poison ground
Sea serpant- water dragon- mix gyarados with dragonair.
Another octopus family, Octillery was awesome
Poison Dragon- good type mix as Dragon is strong while Poison is week
    ground bug tarantula
    killer whale- dark/water
water/grass seahorse/seaweed pokemon (saw a sexy fakemon of this)

I would love the fossils to be a (normal)caveman-like pokemon (uses bone club) and a (ground normal)saber tooth tiger. (because they are closer to modern day, they aren't rock type)

  • Good to know I'm not the only person that wants to see a tiger Pokemon for this gen. That's all I really want for this gen, give it some good speed and physical attack so that it makes the OU tier and I'll use it all day.

  • I really want a good grass type. So far I feel they've been getting left out because they either have good defenses (serperior) or a good attack (Victreebel). I know there is Ferrothorn with both, but his double typing (grass/steel) amplify his fire weakness and making the popular move Earthquake a viable option. Sorry for my little rant, but I want a good grass type. Mabye another grass/water type because they cover eachother's weaknesses fairly well.
I wouldn't mind a powerful bird pokemon as well. I'm a competitive battler so I don't use them, but I think it would be cool to have a bird on my team. Just some of my thoughts.

I'd see a Chinese dragon as part fire actually. Could be an offensive version of Reshiram really and have an awesome design ;)

Also the dragonair/dragonite and the sea weed mon is covered by Kingdra kinda :x

  • Uh Chinese dragons are associated more with water and air than fire (a European drago thing)so if they did make a chinese dragon it'll likely be Flying/Dragon like Rayquaza which is the closest we have to a chinese dragon barring Gyarados...who has Water/Flying, or Water/Dragon. Hey how about they just evolve Gyarados.

I'll like to see a Aztec dragon...I guess Rayquaza's close but more serpentine with feathers.

  • I want to see a dragon/bug type that could resemble a dragonfly.

I want more dark types and steel types too. Maybe even a dark/steel type.

    That'd be sweet :DD

Pawniard and Bisharp are Dark/Steel types.

I hope we get to see a Llama, Platypus, Panda and Koala Pokémon. Although, they'd likely save the Panda and Koala Pokémon for when they use regions based off of China and Australia maybe.

I see it as fire though because they're generally veeerrryyy red in terms of costumes and thus I just associate it with fire. It's not that Pokemon have to share typing of what they are associated with, they can also share the typing of the colours of the design imo.

If you mean the common red paper dragons during their new years celebrations, that one is actually associated with metal as Red = Prosperity in China and commonly associated with good revenue for the new year (money which used to be coin which were metal) XD.

Even in Pokemon Color association is skewered. 21/68 "Red Pokemon" are Fire, rest are mixture of odd assortment of types, some both weak and strong against Fire.

As for being Chinese, ya majority of Chinese Dragons are Air, Storm or water related. I think only their Black (Evil) Dragons were associated with fire. I'd have to recheck some of my fable and fairy-tale books, but only Chinese dragons I remember being specifically Fire based was black. (other than the fictional dragon wizard Shendu from Jackie Chan Adventures who was green.)

Oh right! Well still a Pokemon based on the design of the paper dragons rather than the Chinese dragons (I'm sorry I thought they were the same and hopefully didn't offend anyone!) I'd really like that. Although there is Gyrados it's still not -exactly- that and a fire version of it would be awesome. :x
