  • Have you considered running some more offensive moves on Nidoqueen so it isn't walled entirely by Ghosts? Having both Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes on the same set is a waste of moveslots, IMO:
    -Stealth Rock/Toxic Spikes
    -Ice Beam/Flamethrower
    -Earth Power/Flamethrower
    -Roar
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 248 HP/240 Def/20 SAtk
    Item: Black Sludge
    Ability: Sheer Force

I don't see the merit of Confuse Ray on Gengar, really. All-out attacking or a utility set is better because of the former's better coverage and the latter's ability to force switches more reliably:
    -Shadow Ball
    -Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
    -Focus Blast
    -Icy Wind/Taunt/Substitute/Destiny Bond
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Black Sludge

    or
    -Hex
    -Sludge Wave/Substitute
    -Taunt
    -Will-o-Wisp
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 8 HP/248 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Black Sludge

Liquid Ooze is the superior ability on Tentacruel, as Tentacruel doesn't care about Intimidate in the slightest.

As Skuntank's HP is significantly higher than its defenses, the better approach is to put EVs in its defenses rather than HP. 232 HP/132 SDef/144 Spe is an example; this outspeeds 0 Speed base 70 Pokemon.

You do realize that Dragalge has access to Focus Blast, right? Yes, it's unreliable, but it's twice as strong as Hidden Power. Have you considered making Dragalge the Toxic Spiker of the team?. Thunderbolt also doesn't give Dragalge noteworthy coverage, as its STABs are enough to take care of what Thunderbolt hits:
    -Sludge Wave
    -Draco Meteor
    -Focus Blast
    -Scald/Toxic Spikes
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 228 HP/252 SAtk/28 Spe
Item: Choice Specs (Scald)/Black Sludge (Toxic Spikes)
    Ability: Adaptability

    or
    -Toxic Spikes
    -Sludge Wave
    -Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse
    -Scald
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 248 HP/228 SDef/28 Spe
    Item: Black Sludge
    Ability: Adaptability

    Nah

If you're in need of hazard removal you can swap HP ground on Tentacruel for Rapid Spin. If Heatran is the only thing you're running HP Ground for it kinda doesn't matter since with your spread Scald 2HKOs offensive variants (while they fail to 2HKO you with Earth Power) and defensive ones do fuck all to you.

  • Well first and foremost 4/6 of your team get murdered by Earthquake. That's going to be an enormous problem for you.

You're wasting Gengar's offensive prowess as everyone said. Use the Life Orb variant but run Dazzling Gleam over Focus Blast. You've already got methods of dealing with Steel types so to hit Dark-types trying to counter Gengar (including Sableye/Spiritomb which Focus Blast doesn't hit) with far better accuracy than Focus Miss, Dazzling Gleam works better imo.

Offensive Nidoking or Queen is something to consider depending if you want more bulk or not. Maybe try

    Nidoking @ Life Orb
    Ability: Sheer Force
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Earth Power
    - Sludge Wave
    - Ice Beam
    - Flamethrower

    or

    Nidoqueen @ Life Orb
    Ability: Sheer Force
    EVs: 180 HP / 252 SpA / 76 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Earth Power
    - Ice Beam
    - Stealth Rock
    - Sludge Wave

The latter is weaker and slower but is bulkier and can still run Rocks which you definitely want on your team. Running a more offensive version lets you put more pressure on Steels which is something you really want on a Mono Poison.

Tentacruel is a terrible offensive choice and Assault Vest is kind of wasted on it since it's physical defence is where it sucks. It's better off running recovery and switching out if a threat comes in.

    Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Liquid Ooze
    EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 28 SpD / 16 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Scald
    - Rapid Spin
    - Acid Spray
    - Toxic Spikes

This gives you hazard removal (albeit one that can be spin-blocked), toxic spikes that have been removed using the other nido variant, Acid Spray to cripple special sweepers/wallbreakers and Scald which is Scald.

I don't really agree with Dazzling Gleam > Focus Blast. Yes, Focus Blast is inaccurate, but it hits Dark Pokemon harder than Focus Blast would.

Considering Gengar's high Sp. Atk and frailty, it's better it can hit with good power all the time than lots of power a fraction of the time.

Crobat might be worth considering for this team. It gives you another ground immunity and provides nice utility. It also has decent offensive power and with access to things like Super Fang you can wear down Steels/Rock types easier.

Gengar doesn't really need Scarf, as base 110 Speed is pretty good for the current metagame. It'd rather be able to use it's moveslots freely too, given how good it's coverage is. I also have to say that Focus Blast>Dazzling Gleam on it. Focus Blast covers what you're wnating DG to cover, plus Steel types, and Gleam is pretty weak without STAB. While you normally wanna use the more accurate (and therefore more reliable) move, there are some cases where you have to forgo that rule of thumb, with Focus Blast often being one of those. Powerful special Fighting type coverage is so very useful and not something a lot of Pokemon have access too; the benefits of it outweigh the poor accuracy, which is why it's commonly recommended on the 'mons that can learn it.

  • ty for the feedback, I took some of it on to see what would work best for me and my team is now standing at:

Botulinum (Nidoking) (M) @ Life Orb
    Ability: Sheer Force
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Sludge Wave
    - Earth Power
    - Ice Beam
    - Stealth Rock

    Anthrax (Venusaur-Mega) (F) @ Venusaurite
    Ability: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Leech Seed
    - Giga Drain

Sarin (Tentacruel) (M) @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Liquid Ooze
    EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 28 SpD / 16 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Acid Spray
    - Scald
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Rapid Spin

Monoxide (Gengar) (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Destiny Bond
    - Shadow Ball
    - Dazzling Gleam

Cyanide (Drapion) (M) @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Battle Armor
    EVs: 24 HP / 228 Atk / 104 SpD / 152 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Agility
    - Earthquake
    - Knock Off
    - Poison Jab

Strychnine (Crobat) (M) @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Infiltrator
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Brave Bird
    - U-turn
    - Taunt
    - Roost

I'm sure this could be further refined and some of you are probably banging your heads on desks but I'm open to more opinions for sure. :)
Crobat's Speed is one of its major selling points. Going Adamant with 0 Speed EVs wastes that aspect away. Crobat's Attack is somewhat middling as well:
    -Brave Bird/Acrobatics
    -U-turn/Toxic/Taunt
    -Defog/Taunt
    -Roost
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 248 HP/48 Def/212 Spe
    Item: Black Sludge/none
    Ability: Infiltrator

Drapion is too weak to be abusing Agility. 90 Attack isn't that strong and it relies on a boost from Choice Band or Swords Dance:
    -Swords Dance
    -Poison Jab
    -Knock Off
    -Aqua Tail
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Lum Berry
    Ability: Sniper/Battle Armor
