6th Gen How to tell if a 'Mon is legit?

My buddy gave me a shiny event Mew 6 IV... he says it's legit but idk?

Even if that is so, the wondercard has been hacked to make it shiny and have 6IVs. You can find all the Event Mew's database here http://www.serebii.net/events/dex/151.shtml, the latest one dates back to 2010. So, it's still hacked, especially since shiny Mew, of any kind, are banned from being traded here.

Edit: Forgot to tell you that RNG abuse wasn't possible at the time. If it were an event from the 5th Gen then this would have been possible.
